We were very pleased with all services. Mirna and Artura showed up on time, were quite professional, performed all services to our great satisfaction, and gave us helpful information about the condition of our chimney.

A V Vent Chimney was installed to correct the problem of exhaust gas condensation from water heaters.

No service was performed. No one showed up.

They never show up for a scheduled appointment.

There was an issue with the understanding of the rate, but it was resolved in my favor and with a good attitude. They were on time, and professional. I have used them in the past and will use them in the future.

Mirna was very professional and explained the work to be done in detail. She was punctual and courteous.

They did a great job for a good price. The new flues do great work. Not only did they close off the chimney they took it down to the parapet level of the roof. I like their work and I will employ them again. I have another chimney on that building that is starting to show the same symptoms of the one that was capped.

When I called her, she came right out without hesitation. Explained everything as she went. A+ work

This went very well. First he inspected the chimney and told me what needed to be done to give it an approved status. He also told me the total cost. He didn't have everything he needed to repair my chimney so he went back and got some supplies. The total thing took about 2.5 hours. He cleaned up afterward. I am very happy and I sold the house.

After scheduling an appointment several weeks in advance, the provider was to come in to give a quote on installation of a stainless steel chimney liner. Appoint was scheduled for "the morning." First call to confirm 30 minutes before arrival came at 10:53a. At 11:13a, the second call came to say they would be delayed due to traffic. At 1:07p, they called to say they just couldn't make it. The professional thing to do would have been to say they could not accommodate the job at least the day before. I advise anyone considering this company to proceed with caution.

The company was recommended by another AL vendor who was highly rated, but who said I was extremely out-of-service area so he recommended this company. It is a company located on the South side of Chicago as am I. I assumed there would be no issues involving location (as I have CONSISTENTLY had this problem since becoming an AL subscriber over 10 yrs ago!). I gave the female who answered the company's listed number all pertinent information. I was told that "she would look at the calendar/schedule and get back to me". I was never called back. I don't know if the company was too busy, didn't want a "small job" like mine because...., etc. As much as I hate to speculate, one can't help doing it when companies behave like this and don't "follow through". The other AL vendor spoke in very confident terms about this company, so I was rather surprised that my potential business as a possible new customer was just ignored.

Everything went well. Mirna called ahead of time to let us know when they were on the way. Jacob and Arturo were hard workers and did a great job. One chimney was really blocked so they had to spend a lot of time unblocking it. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. Mirna came by to check their work progress and make sure we were happy with what they were doing. I would definitely hire them again.

They matched another preferred Angies List vendor and were able to do the job sooner.

They were awesome. They showed up on time, called 30 minutes before the call and did a thorough inspection. They installed the chimney cap and showed me other areas that needed improvements. I would call them again - without question.

The representative came over the day I made my request. She had some possible solutions to the problem but said it would be difficult to be sure until the chimney was cleaned. She said she would send me a proposal. I never received a proposal so I found another company to do the work.

Went very well. They showed up when they said they would and started right away. Kept the area clean of debris and finished on the second day taking all debris with them and cleaning up before they left.

As far as I can see right now, I would say it turned out very well. They were very polite, professional and on time. There was one time that they couldn't get here on time, but they called ahead to let us know.

This is an A ++ Company they are very professional, punctual and dependable. I wish all the contractors out there would be like this one.

On Sunday morning we woke to find no heat in our home. After examining our boiler and finding that its "blocked vent shut-off switch" had been activated, I called Chimney USA for emergency service to remove the blockage. I told them that I had seen squirrels entering the chimney cap earlier in the week and that the boiler and water heater vents smelled of burned leaves; I suspected the blockage might relate to the squirrel activity. Mirna advised that they should be able to arrive before noon to perform the work. Chimney USA (Mirna and Jacob) arrived at 11:45am and promptly got to work. They disassembled the ductwork leading from the boiler to the chimney, swept out the flue and removed the squirrel nest, and reassembled the ducts afterward. The old chimney cap was damaged/removed during this work, which I anticipated would happen, but was not replaced due to snow accumulation on the roof. By 1:45pm the work (including cleanup) was complete, including a draft test and confirmation that the chimney was properly venting again. The cost ($500) was acceptable but not inclusive of installation of a new chimney cap. A new chimney cap will need to be installed at a later date, and I plan to hire Chimney USA to do that job as well. I found Jacob and Mirna to both be very friendly and professional. I appreciated their prompt response and attention to detail. The job was done to my satisfaction, though I am eager for better weather to come so that they can install a new chimney cap to keep squirrels/debris from entering in the future. Would happily recommend to friends and family.

They did miss the first apointment, but it is the busy season. They came by, and cleaned it out, which was not easy. The pipe was hard to access do to the way the furnace was put in. They did get rid of most of the blockage. The rest is part of a bigger job that needs to be done come springtime. I will be using Chimney USA to do this work come the spring. I would recommend them.

Everything went as planned. The crew was professional and left the work areas clean. Mirna always returned my calls and monitored the work progress personally. Overall a good experience.

The provider called and cancelled the first appointment they made with me and told me that they would need to come on Thursday morning instead of Tuesday, so I agreed to the change. I made it clear that I had two fireplaces I needed to have checked out and that I would have to leave by 11:00 am to go to work, so she assured me that I would be the first customer of the day and that they would be here no later than 9:30. She said someone would call me a half an hour before arrival. At a bit after 9:30 when I had not heard from them, I called to see what was happening and she said that "she was just about to call me, that they were on their way". when I reminded her that I needed to leave by 11:00, she checked the GPS and said that it would take them 50 minutes to get here, and I said we might as well forget it as that would give them only half an hour. She didn't remember whether they were checking a fireplace or a furnace, so when I reminded her that I have two fireplaces, she agreed that they would not have enough time. So I told her to forget it. I didn't figure rescheduling with people who were clearly this unprofessional would be a better experience than I'd already had.

Written estimate of work to be done. Itemized!! Prompt arrival and immediately began work. Cleaned all debs before leaving. checked all connections to furnace and corrected any that were wrong. Polite and professional.
