Description of Work: Chicagoland Quality Plumbing was a life saver. Responded to me call quick, made time for me in their busy schedule even though it was a last minute repair. Came in and had it fixed quickly. I had a valve leaking under my bathroom sink and was sure it would need to be replaced. They came in and tightend the packing nut and now its all fixed. Great people to work with A++

Description of Work: Fixed kitchen sink drain, replaced pipe & drain, tightened dishwasher connection. Plus checked elsewhere. Repaired what previous plumber missed.

Description of Work: I was told by a roofer that a leak in my bathroom ceiling was due to a faulty stack. We scheduled a smoke test to confirm this at a cost of $400.00. David and Geraldo asked if they could look in the attic. David noticed moisture in a corner which was not near the stack. He pulled up the damp insulation and marked the spot with spray paint as a reference point for the roofer. It was a very hot day and I never heard a complaint. He informed me that the smoke test would not be needed. His honesty and professionalism was greatly appreciated.

Description of Work: Great service, and prompt. However, was some difficulty with the Angie's and the provider. But after talking with the shop's owner, he( much like myself) is pretty "old school" and still getting used to the whole computer based appointment thing. Overall, great service, very honest, good price and quick. I would suggest phone contact( or leave a message) as the best form of communication

Description of Work: They cleaned out the sewer from the basement to the street...no mess to clean when they were done...they set the equipment up on tarps...had a couple downpours since and didn't get water in the basement. The cost was explained so I got my free hour of labour. It was a pleasant surprise because I really didn't care about the free hour, just wanted the problem solved without a big mess to clean. Will probably have them return to do a preventive cleanout in one year.

Description of Work: I had major problems with my basement sewer. Edwin, the owner, personally came out on four consecutive days to mitigate the problem himself when his crews were unsuccessful to do so. Edwin suspected the problem was caused by the City from work they did on the street three weeks prior to the flooding in my basement. Edwin coordinated with the City sewer department to inspect the problem and it was determined that the City caused the problem and would do the repairs. Edwin's dedication, responsiveness and competence in resolving my sewer issue exceeded all expectations. If you are looking for a reliable, qualified and reasonably priced plumber, then Chicagoland Quality Plumbing should be your first call. It will always be mine.

Description of Work: Over the winter one of our pipes in our upstairs dormer bathroom froze and burst. We turned the water off to the 2nd floor and finally got around to getting it fixed this week. Edwin from Chicagoland Quality Plumbing came out to give us an estimate. Originally they were decided to avoid ripping out the floor by capping the pipes below the bathroom floor and running new pipes through the 3 walls of the dormer. The initial estimate was $1600. When they came to do the work, it turned out that they could run the pipes up through the 1st floor closet saving us from having to fix all three walls and keeping all of our pipes on inside walls. The final cost was $1050. ($550 cheaper than the original estimate, yay!) They did a great job, and cleaned up after. They were very courteous, and really looked for the best solution to our problem. I would use them again and will spread the word about them to all my friends.

Description of Work: the sink and tub in my downstairs apartment were clogged up and I needed them fixed right away. I called and left a voice message. Person got back to me later that afternoon and service was scheduled for following morning. Plumber arrived on time and unclogged the two drains - they had gotten pretty nasty over the years. Description of Work: Great experience from beginning to end. Edwin returned my call quickly and came out the same day to fix my problem. I had attempted to replace a pipe under my sink that I had replaced in the past. however this time the pipe crumbled and was stuck inside the pipe joints. because I called late in the day I didn't think that I would be able to find a plumber who could come out that very same day. however because I was in the area of his last job he was willing to accommodate me. besides that, he is fixed a slow drain in my bathtub where apparently a shampoo cap had lodged itself inside the drain. being a contractor myself with an A rating on Angie's List, I truly appreciate great service. without any doubt, I would hire Edwin again.

Description of Work: I called Chicagoland Quality Plumbing because we needed some very serious work done. We have very low water pressure and we were told in the past that we may need to replace old pipes that are connected to the main out in the street, never the less we called Edwin to get an estimate and he was very professional, he returned our calls right away and what I liked best was that he was completely honest with us. He let us know that he did not specialize in this kind of particular work we were looking for, which makes him an excellent candidate for us to contact in the future for any other plumbing issues. I highly reccommend him to anyone that is looking for someone that is honest and has integrity, because we all know that this is not easy to come by these days!

Description of Work: They are very good. They replaced the spigott on the outside of our house. they had to break the drywall on the inside to get to the piping that needed to replace. They were very punctual

Description of Work: Ed Flores rodded out from the front downspout where water was backing up out of. He later put camera down into line and saw what looked like a blockage of some sort. Ed did not presssure me and said he would come back in spring and dig down to remove blockage but will give me estimate before I agree on anything. Ed called back a few days after to see how everything was going and if there was any problems. Ed said to call him if problem returns and he will come out and rod again just to keep water flowing until he can work on problem in spring. Great company and Ed is very honest and fair on price and does not pressure you into anything.

Description of Work: We needed an emergency water heater installation in our single family home. Edwin came out the same day that I called and drained the water heater so it wouldn't burst and then came the next day and installed a new water heater. Incredible service at a competitive price. These guys know what they're doing.
