Edwin Flores, the plumber, was on time and did a very good job. He did an excellent job. I would call him again if needed.

Absolutely amazing. I called them in a panic Friday morning because toilet water was leaking all over my house. I had never used them before. Even though they were pretty booked, they made time to come out. Edwin sat outside my house for a half hour waiting for me to get home from work, only to find out that I didn't have a house key. He was very gracious about the whole thing, went to another job and came back at 5:30p that same day and got the job done. I would use him again in a heartbeat!

Edwin looked around and checked the plumbing. He was very professional (he called since he was a few minutes later after he got stuck in St. Patty's Day parade traffic) and explained the plumbing to us. He then sent us an email with an estimate and followed up with a phone call to see if we had any questions. Once we get the house, we'll be hiring him to complete this work.

I left a message for Edwin on a Friday evening and he called back within an hour. Because of our crazy work scheduled we had very limited time and day slots available, but Edwin came out on the first open afternoon. To our surprise Edwin had all of the supplies with him and did the project the first time we met him. We definitely will use him again for any plumbing projects and recommend him very highly. Edwin was very professional, easy to work with and a pleasure to have in our home.

I'm pretty experienced with plumbing and remodeling, and really appeciated Edwin's professionalism and approach to the work. He cleaned up a jury rig system from a 25-year old remodel and installed better parts. We discussed the entire job ahead of time and agreed to the approach. Ran into a roadblock waiting for the city of Chicago to locate the buried B-box, so the job had to be broken down into 2 phases. Some of the work could be done without the main water vavle being shut off, and this caused not only a delay but also a problem with some of the soldered pipes, and some had to be redone. But Edwin was great throughout and I would definitely use him again.

Edwin was on time, professional, extremely knowledgeable, intelligent, resourceful and generally what I would consider to be a workman of very high quality.

This is the second time that I've called Edwin for plumbing related issues, and he didn't disappoint. I went down in the basement and found raw sewage which had spilled out of the drain. I called Edwin (it was a Sunday) and he said that he should be able to be there within an hour (he had another call before us). He arrived within an hour and got to work. He spent about an hour and a half rodding out the line and also he cleaned up the sewage mess (which I greatly appreciated.) Edwin is a super nice guy who does great work for a fair price. We will definitely be using him in the future.

Edwin has been great to work with. It was easy to schedule an appointment within a few days. He came out and checked our garbage disposal and after removing it and trying various things, he mentioned that we needed to buy a new one. He offered to pick it up for us and come back, but I rescheduled for him to come the following Saturday. (My husband picked up the garbage disposal instead.) He called before coming on Saturday and installed our new garbage disposal, unclogged an upstairs tub drain, and replaced corroded piping under a sink. My husband and I have lived in this house for about a month, and I had a few questions for Edwin regarding the piping (which will eventually need to be replaced) in the basement. He was very patient with answering all of my questions. All in all, I felt like he did a great job for a fair price, and we will definitely be calling him in the future!

When I called and left a message, the guy called me back right away. He showed up when he said he would. I just called him originally to fix the faucet but he did it really quickly and he said that he wasn't even going to charge me.

Our condo had a faucet in one of the garages that would not shut off - which was discovered on a Saturday evening. There was not a shut-off valve for the faucet like one would expect so that the problem could be addressed during the week. We called on Saturday evening and reached Chicagoland Plumbing immediately. They agreed to come out on Sunday morning and were able to quickly resolve the problem faucet. They were timely, efficient and a great company to work with. We would not hesitate to call Chicagoland Plumbing for other plumbing needs.

A few weeks ago, I was standing in a pool of water in my back patio. Since I purchased my home as a foreclosure, I couldn't ask the previous owner how the exterior drains worked or where they were located on my property (large lot). Edwin came out at the time agreed and offered me several suggestions to how the drains could be running on my property. With a locator on his rodding machine, he helped clean my drains, identified exactly where all my drains were located and also advised me of some potentional problems I should address in the future. Edwin was professional, friendly and clearly explained the process and equipment he used. He helped me solve my puzzle! I would recommend Edwin to anyone who is having issues with exterior drains.

We were extremely happy with this company. We woke up on a Saturday to find that we had no hot water. Out of several Angie's List plumbers, Edwin was the only one we were able to get live so we asked him to come and he said he could make it within an hour. He kept his word! Not only that, but he was extremely fair in the pricing of the job and took the time to explain the issue. I can't say enough of how happy we were with this company. Professional, knowledgeable, fairly priced and trustworthy.

Ed is a very nice gentleman who gave us the lowest estimate, did the work quickly and fixed every problem we had. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I called at 3:30 and Ed said he could make it that afternoon. He showed up, fixed the pipe in a little over a half an hour and was on his way. Fast and effective. Polite and tidy. I found Chicagoland Plumbing on Angies List because my former plumber retired. This is my new plumber.

I called on a Saturday, expecting to get a machine, and some directly to Edwin. He was very helpful and flexible with scheduling. On the day of the appointment, he showed up on time, quickly fixed the problem and explained everything to me along the way.

It went very well. I am a DIYer who recently completed a bathroom model. I did all of the plumbing myself but had a 2 stubborn leaks in a shower jets portion, which fortunately I could access through an adjoining closet wall. I felt I was a bit over my head so I called in reinforcements. He was very helpful and, unlike several contractors I have worked with, was happy to provide his insight and assistance in resolving the problem despite the fact that it was a DIY project. I was very pleased and while I hope I won't need his services again any time soon, will be sure to call him if I get over my head again.

The bathtub wasn't draining. I thought it was a problem with the (very old) mechanism controlling the drain. I wasn't able to fix it myself, and I happened to e home for the day, so I placed several calls to plumbers with good reviews on the list. Edwin was the third I phoned and the only one to answer. He was at my house in an hour, even though it definitely was not an emergency situation. Edwin identified the real culprit as a clog. Do to the strange arrangement of the pipes, it wasn't super easy to get at, but he had everything fixed in under an hour.

This was a great experience. Edwin was timely and forthright in explaining what to expect and what certain costs might be. Because the drains he was working with are underground, he gave us an array of scenarios and costs on what to expect. He worked all day with one other worker and did an impeccable job cleaning and replacing the downspout drain. He also replaced the cement around the replaced drain beautifully. Would gladly call him again.

I have a tenant at a commercial building that does not keep regular hours. The owner of this company came several times until he was able to accommodate the schedule of the tenant. The tenant had no running water. The problem was solved in a timely and professional manner. The solution was not obvious and only a professional plumber and customer service oriented company like this one could have solved the company.

He was very professional and very courteous. He did a terrific job and stuck with the price he quoted even though the job took a little longer than he originally estimated.

On Sunday, I discovered a massive clog under my sink that caused my kitchen floor to flood in my 5th floor condo unit. On Monday morning, I called Edwin at Chicagoland who answered my call and set up an appointment for that afternoon. Edwin and one of his guys showed up early and fixed the clog issue within 45 minutes (including set-up and clean-up time). Edwin made sure to check with my neighbors downstairs to make sure that the work that he was performing did not affect their plumbing. I would definitely hire Edwin and Chicagoland again.

The first time I used him there had been a coupon offer on Angieslist. He (and I) forgot about it when he charged me. I got a call later from him saying that he had realized the mistake and credited my card 10% of the bill. Do you need to know anything more?
