Carlos' work was quick, professional, and clean. He put down a carpet in his workspace to avoid scuffing the floor. He explained his work. And it appears to have been well done. He showed up on time and even gave me a phone call to say that he was on the way. Before beginning work he was clear about the labor rate - not cheap but competitive. I assigned Chicagoland Plumbing a B for responsiveness only because I was told I would receive an email confirmation of my appointment, but I never received it. Overall, I had a great experience with Chicagoland Plumbing and would be glad to recommend them to others.

Great experience! Very responsive from the time I made my original inquire to completion. Edwin called the morning of my appointment to let me know when he would arrive. Very polite, even covered his shoes with "booties" to keep my floors clean. Job was completed quickly with zero mess left behind. Price was more than fair, and very realistic. I am already planning future projects to have Edwin come back. Thanks again, job well done!

My old Montgomery Ward 40 gallon water heater (predates our purchase of the home) finally gave out. They removed it and installed a new Bradford White 40 gallon gas water heater. Even came back a couple of days later because I was having trouble with sediment/crud clogging up the hot water tap in the upstairs bath. Very professional, know what they are doing and great to work with. All in all, it is thumbs up for Chicagoland Plumbing.

We live in a duplex down in Chicago -- which means our bathtubs, two of 3 toilets and our clothes washer are on the basement level, and you need an ejector pump to move the waste water up to the sewer. Our 6-year old ejector pump failed on a Saturday night (of course!). I called Chicagoland Plumbing at 10PM on a Saturday night. Ben answered the phone promptly and could not have been more helpful. He said someone would be out by 10AM Sunday morning, and he was true to his word. Carlos, the plumber who did the work, was courteous and professional, careful and thorough. It was not the easiest job, but by 1PM Sunday we had a working ejector pump and could shower and wash clothes. Although we paid time and a half for the Sunday service call, it was worth it to get it done quickly (and not have to take off from work during the week), and I'm not sure it cost us anymore than our regular plumbers, who are very expensive AND don't work weekends. I will seriously consider switching to Chicagoland Plumbing for all our work going forward. And, they gave us a 10% discount on labor for finding them through Angie's List!

I have never worked with a better plumbing service and very few contractors of any sort that performed at this level. On time, smart, polite to a fault, innovative solutions.Fair bill, great value for the work done.

I called Chicagoland Plumbing and was able to schedule an appointment right away. Edwin was on time and was very honest in his assessment of the solution to replace the water heater. He checked on parts availability and was able to confirm an appointment for the following day while he was at my house. The crew showed up the next day on time and was very consciencious about making noise (I was on a work conference call) and cleaning up during the install. The final team member stayed to do the remaining install work, explain other potential project work to address a small drainage pipe out of the HVAC/water heater closet and to make sure the water was being heated properly. Although I wasn't happy having to replace a six year old water heater, I appreciated their prompt and honest assessment of the situation. I will definitely use Chicagoland Plumbers for future work.

The plumber ( Benny?) and his apprentice (Eli) were friendly courteous and professional. They got right to work, repaired the problem. Cleaned the area and gave me a great price. I would highly recommend them

Ed Flores and his crew of two, which did the actual work, were very courteous and professional. The clean-up was also excellent. Communication after the initial visit was by E-mail, including sending of the contract. This was very convenient for me. An excellent experience.

It was so nice to have this fixed so fast (about 30 minutes) for a good price. Edwin told me that the piping will need to be replaced at some point, but it's great that he could give us a little more life from our old galvanized piping.

He did great work. He came in and diagnosed the problem quickly. He actually brought a spare disposal with him just in case and was able to make the repair right away. It even cost less than I expected.

Went the extra mile by putting in a double ring seal to insure a better seal. Would use Chicagoland Plumbing, Inc. again and again.

They ended being too busy to help us. They were punctual. They came out and met me and there came a situation where they were very professional but they told me that they were too busy. So on one hand I was thankful, but on the other hand I was left with no plumber. They were at least honest about it. I would have liked to work with them. They were knowledgeable and had great rating on the list. They started working on the estimate and in the process of working on it they told me that they did not have the time. The estimate was going to be less than $2000. The overall experience was good. I am not sure if I would use them because I would not want to waste my time on a quote and then them telling me that they don?t have the time.

They came to give a second opinion about a leaking shower drain. Another company wanted to open the ceiling without much explanation. Edwin was able to find an intermediary solution. It was easy to make an appointment, you can do this online. He was very easy and pleasant to work with.

The wanted to charge us $200 per hour for three hours and we would need to provide all of the supplies. We got several other estimates and this was very very high. We were able to end up getting it done for $200 total plus supplies elsewhere and are very happy.

Well after trying to diagnose the issue for a few hours they said they think they found the issue by cutting a hole in the ceiling, fixing a pipe and asked me to monitor the leaking for a few days. Well one day went by and after i showered my neighbor told me it was still leaking. I called them back and asked them to come out again. they did (and at no charge ) and poked around. They then claimed it was water that was somehow splashing out of the shower onto my tiles and claimed my tiles were cracking and water damaged. Mind you not a drop of water was on the tile after i showered and i have never seen such an issue in the past. I didnt believe them so i called another handymen that found out what the REAL issue was. These guys told me some B.S answer just to get the h*** out of there after they took my money. Totally unreliable. I willl never use these guys again!!

It went very well. Edwin was exactly on time and called when he was a short ways away. He did the above tasks and we were very happy with quality of service, clean up and price. I reccoment him highly.

THe job took about 4 hours and was perfectly done. Very cleanly left. All in all a great experience.

Overall, it went great. Ed, the owner, was prompt, courteous and knowledgable. He sent Carlos and Benny to do the work and they told me straight out they had a different approach and didn't want to wast my time and money. The second day, they showed up on time and worked dilligently through out the day to complete the job. The rodding helped the flow of water exiting the house. I had my doubts and still a concern there may be broken clay piping. They cleaned up any mess and even one I had in the basement. So far, the plumbing is holding up well. The work comes with a one year warranty and 10% discount for first time customers.

Excellent service from beginiing to end. The estimator was prompt and efficient, he figured out our problems and presented his solution. The job turned out to be more complicated than anticipated, but we were not charged more than the original estimate. I would highly recommend Chicagoland Plumbing. The workers are prompt, honest and reliable. The left the site in good order and did a beautiful job.

Ed was great to deal with. He responded to my inquiry very quickly. He gave me an estimate over the phone and the job was exactly as Ed had projected. He was on time the day of his appointment and was courteous and clean. I would call on him again in a heartbeat.

Very positive experience overall. We live in an older bungalow, and our upstairs shower and toilet were draining very slowly. I left a message for Chicagoland Plumbing on Sunday afternoon and Edwin called back right away, agreeing on an appointment time later in the week. He arrived as scheduled and attempted quick fix of freeing up drain without removing the commode, etc. When that approach failed, he diagnosed problem as something in drain lines, most likely, roots and something similar. Edwin worked for a couple hours and eventually cleared the drain so that we could use our upstairs bath. He then came back two days later with differnet equipment that allowed him to root out the primary line from our catch basin to our primary sewerage feed. He also recommended that I get/apply some products that would deter roots from growing back. Happily, I was able to take advantage of an Angie's List discount for 10% off labor. It's been a couple weeks and have experienced no problems since the work was completed.

I called Chicagoland Plumbing to check my main water shut off valve, which wasn't working. They returned my call right away and were scheduled to come out last Monday at 9am. At 9.30am, I called and left a message looking for an ETA of when they would get there. They called back 9 hours later apologizing that they forgot the appointment. They called again a few days later apologizing again and wondering if I wanted to reschedule. While I appreciate that emergencies arise and don't doubt the sincerity of the apologies, I don't think it's good customer service to forget an appointment and to not return a voicemail regarding a missed service call until 9 hours later. I was pretty disappointed considering all the other good review.
