Great! Edwin, the owner, called me back to find out what I needed, tell me what his pricing was and set up the appointment. He came two days later, when I was able to work from home, and covered his shoes before coming into my condo. Because my faucet was under warranty I had the parts were supposedly needed. Edwin looked everything over and replaced the parts I was sent, and carefully tested each one to make sure they were working properly. One of the parts was the handle, and he suggested I keep the original one because it actually seemed to be okay,and it was brass, whereas the replacement handle was now plastic. I couldn't tell that and was glad he mentioned it. He made sure there wasn't any leaking around the faucet or in the cabinet below before he left. Edwin was friendly, polite and professional, and I'm sure his other plumbers would be too. I highly recommend his company!

Edwin was great in every way. I am remodeling my kitchen and it has been a nightmare. Edwin was the best part of my remodeling. Edwin is an amiable, polite, expert craftsman. He is also fair, and appreciates fine work. I have a plumber for life. Thank you. Hiring a plumber can be a nerve racking experience. Hire this guy. He will make a stressful experience require less alcohol.

My tenants informed me that the hose in their kitchen pull out faucet was leaking. I went over and verified the make and model of the faucet and then called the company that made it (Grohe) to send me a replacement hose which they did. Once I received it I called Edwin to inquire about what he would charge me to have an installed come out and put it on the faucet. He told me he would just charge me a service call since I already had the part and do a lot of business with him. As usual the installers he sent out did a phenomenal job and it took less than 30 minutes.

The plumbers that came out tried to teach me how to repair a flapper but that's just not my thing. I know it's expensive to have someone else do it but my sense is that a good plumber will save a lot of time down the road. This company is really excellent and very reliable. Prices, however, are on the high side and I don't always use them because of that.

David and Oscar were gems. They zeroed in on the problems and speedily remedied them, behaving with the utmost courtesy and professionalism throughout. Would I hire them again? Absolutely!

They scheduled a visit the next business day for a non-emergency drain clogging. They did a great job of fixing issues with the shower drain and addressed an issue with the sink . They also provided advice on how to avoid issues in the future and permanent fixes that could be put into place. I really appreciated the background information and thoroughness with which they dealt with the issue!

Everything went very well from our first contact to completion of the job.

I called and made a Friday morning appt for a broken garbage disposal in my sink. Everything was confirmed, I took the morning off from work, and then they didnt show. When I called they were pretty rude, asking if I called the day before to remind them. I told them that I didn't know that I was supposed to do that, and we just made the appt the day before. They finally agreed to come out the next day. They came and spent about 10 minutes and said the garage disposal need to be replaced. I asked if they could fix it that day and they said no that I would need to go buy one and schedule another appt. So, I did. I was told that the install would take up to three hours. They came a few days later, and it was wrapped up in less than an hour. Three weeks later, the disposal was leaking again (worse than before). I called and they came out and said I needed a new disposal. I reminded them that it was brand new. He repaired it and said he wouldn't charge me "this time", but if he had to come back, he would definitely be charging me.

The plumber arrived on time. He explained what he was going to do to address a slow drain. He fixed a leaky bathroom sink. Then, he replaced toilet innards.

We were hoping to get an Energy Star model, but there weren't any in the 75 gallon range that were fired by natural gas. Mr. Flores of Chicagoland Plumbing researches the subject and when he didn't find one we did our own research and came to the same conclusion. So we had his firm install a highly rated one that met our needs. The job was well done and it is working well. The cost of the new hot water heater was $875. The labor cost - $380 - was not increased from the estimate, even thought the work took longer than originally estimated, which was partly because the firm delivering the water heater originally had the wrong one, which was not accepted, so the plumbing crew had some idle time until the correct hot water heater was delivered about an hour after they had completed all the removal of the old tank and other prep work.

I contacted CQP in the morning because my shower had no hot water. They returned my call in about 1 hour. They were able to come by just a few hours later, to check out the problem and did the repair at the same time. Since there is only one shower in this home, we were very happy about the quick and efficient service. I would definitely use them again. ********* Just wanted to update that I had to have them back twice to fix to our kitchen sink, after spending hundreds of dollars on so called repairs I currently has the same problem (low water pressure)it had when I called them. When I called the third time they became verbally abusive and refused to stand behind there work.

Recently purchased a high-rise condo. Some minor repairs needed to be done in each of the three bathrooms. Although not major work, my concern was that the job was too small. I wanted to make sure it was done right, and Dave did a great job understanding what was to be done, performed the work quickly and explained what had been done. I will have them back to replace some faucets in the near future. Highly recommend.

I called Chicagoland Plumbing about the leak coming from the kitchen ceiling and David and Oscar were at the house within the hour. They were both extremely courteous and professional. After a quite a bit of investigative work, checking all angles, David determined that the leak was not from the plumbing but rather the roof. We will definitely call Chicagoland Plumbing again if we have any plumbing needs!

We had an emergency with the water pressure pump for our condo building. We called on a Sunday morning and Edwin came within an hour to help us and was able to solve our problem. We were so impressed with the service that we also hired him to do some plumbing work in our condo unit. We always received an immediate response to our calls and the work was really good quality. We have only good things to say about Chicagoland Plumbing!

Edwin was great, very responsive and came out for an estimate only to tell me that my water heater was in good shape and didn't need replaced as I thought it might. His follow-up was excellent and I'm going to call him again in the future if need be.

Our sump pump was on the fritz. It was still draining, but the pump itself would not turn off. At first, we were able to solve, as it appeared the float was "stuck", but soon that wasn't working either. We had called Chicagoland Plumbing a couple of weeks prior, but had canceled when we were able to solve it ourselves (clearly, only temporarily). I called Chicagoland on Monday, Jan 28 and the owner answered immediately. I told him of our problem. Due to the cold weather the previous week and the rains the day before, they were super busy, so the first available was Tues, Jan 29 and probably in the afternoon. This morning, David arrived somewhere around 9:00. He called prior to coming, but I missed the call as I was on a business conference call. At any rate, they were quickly able to diagnose that the switch in our sump pump was broken, and given the kind of pump we had, not really repairable, which was a little disappointing. David was able to take about 10 minutes and give me a firm quote on a new pump (same model) including labor, and had even put one on hold for an hour (evidently, they were in short supply due to all the rain/ice). I authorized the work, and while one technician went to pick up the pump, David got to work opening up the pit and getting out the 8-year old one. The whole job was done by 10:30. David cleaned out the pit, too, and pointed me to the limited warranty we have with the new pump and showed me how it was now responding accurately to the amount of water in the pit. I'm thrilled with the service and response time and the price we paid for the work that was done. I'd go back and use this company again.

l The water heater installation went very well. There was an issue with condensation but it was handled very quickly and professionally. Great job!
