My toilet had not been draining well for a while but suddenly it started leaking by the floor when flushed. So I called Chicagoland Plumbling due to the good reviews in Angie's List, noting the prices charged for the work done in the reviews seemed reasonable. I called mid-morning and within half hour the technician called me back to agree on a work time. We agreed the following day at 9am. At about 9am the technician called to let me know he was running 20-30 min late due to heavy traffic. When he arrived he put on some shoe covers to avoid bringing dirt to my house First he tried to use the snake to unclog the toilet without success, he then removed the toilet, and he took out from the drain a huge ball of several years of discarded dental floss. To prevent further leaking he installed the raiser and a new O-Ring. He aslo tried to change the flap of the tank which was not properly working; but the ones he had on hand did not fit so he ordered the piece and will come back to install it. Very professional, he cleaned well after himself, and I was happy with the work done.

They do not service the Far South Side (any address in the 100's)

Husband got up to go to work at 4am--came back into bedroom to tell me we had no hot water. We went to basement to check on water heater pilot and found our basement flooded and our water heater leaking (gushing) water all over--back seam of water heater had burst open. I went to find a plumber and my husband turned the water off and began cleaning up. I called seven plumbing companies that adverstised emergency 24/7 plumbing service (all listed on Angie's list) Edwin was the only one that called me back promptly, handled all the questions and details over the phone so that when his staff came to the house they had all the parts and new water heater and were ready to work. Edwin was a calming presence over the phone--making sure we had turned everything off and then spent time explaining our options and discussiong what we needed in a water heater etc...His staff were professional, spent time going over everything with us and quite frankly were a pleasure to have in our home! Between the very early morning phone calls, the fact that the team arrived before 8am and finished in about 3 1/2 hours (there were some complications) I feel that the cost was very reasonable! I would highly recommennd Chicagoland Quality Plumbing Inc. With a house over 80 years old--I am sure we will be using them again!!

The service was great. I called them at 9am and they were here by noon. They were professional and left the place tidy. They did a really good job.

The original clay drain in our basement floor was cracked, so water would drain out of the trap in a matter of hours and we'd get terrible sewer fumes in the house. We got several estimates, of which Chicagoland Quality Plumbing was by far the lowest (about half of what others proposed). Normally I might have distrusted such a price difference but they had great reviews so I hired them. They cancelled our original appointment due to running behind on other jobs (I gave a B for punctuality to reflect this), but showed up on time for the rescheduled appointment a few days later. They broke out the cement floor around the drain, replaced the drain (this time with cast iron) and replaced the floor with fresh cement. The whole job only took a few hours and they did a great job. My only complaint is that prior to installing it, they must have done some kind of work on the new cast iron drain (grinding down a part?) outside on our cement patio. Later that day it rained and the day after I noticed extensive rust stains on the patio, seemingly caused by fine iron dust from whatever they had done. We were able to remove some of the stain but not much. Other than that disappointment, they did a great job and were very professional. And the price was unbeatable.

It was embarrassing for me being that it was my first week for me administering four houses of my father in law who may rest in peace. I was responding to a tenant who called about problems with their tub and humidity on the walls. I, instead of going to see the problem first, called upon this company who came on time immediately the next day. To my surprise, the issue that this lady had was very simple to fix and most of it was not plumbing related. I felt so bad for Mr. Oscar and Mr. David who came for basically nothing. They were so respectful and understanding. They did let me know to make sure to inspect anything the tenants report first before calling any company. At the end they simply billed me a small amount for service fee. They were very professional and I definitely recommend them for your plumbing services especially if you administer more than one building.

David and Oscar were great. They were on-time, friendly, professional, and very competent plumbers. They got to work quickly and did a thorough job. They protected the hardwood floors with a blanket and cleaned up after themselves. Most importantly, they completely cleared the blockage in my pipes and now my kitchen sink drain works better than ever. Thanks, guys!

Edwin is great! He had to make multiple visits because additional parts were needed for the repairs and he was very fair with us on the bill. He is courteous, professional and thorough. I would highly recommend him and will use his firm again in the future.

Edwin and his team were thorough professionals. Edwin patiently spent time educating us with a new water heater we had them instal along with some ancillary stuffl. They were customer focused and cared less about money. Our floors were new and the walls were freshly painted. They took every care to keep them clean. High recommendation for these guys. Will have them over for a bathroom remodel in the future.

When they give you a time, they are there. NO Kidding!!! First they removed a vanity and sink from the condo and replaced it with another vanity and sink. The first vanity and sink they transported to my home and removed the existing vanity and sink and replaced it with the one removed from the condo. All done in a very timely manner and with two great guys. David and Oscar are well-mannered, professional and wonderful to work with. I will use them again and again. The owner Edwin Flores was exceptional in all his emails and getting me the ins. certificate that the condo management wanted before the work could proceed. I can't say enough about how wonderful the experience was.

Our three-flat had a serious problem with our sump pump this winter. We chose Chicagoland Quality Plumbing based on its strong reviews here and were not disappointed. Mr. Flores kindly agreed to met us late in the day (for him) and had the problem fixed in short order. We were grateful he was willing to be so flexible and was so effective in solving the problem. A few weeks later, after heavy rains, a problem recurred. He willingly came out again, despite very wet conditions, and again made the repair quickly and explained what had gone wrong. Despite his time and the inconvenience to him, he did not charge us again. We were impressed by his honesty, skill and professionalism, and will call him again when needed, for our building or for our individual units. Thanks for the excellent work and outstanding response when we badly needed your help.

Initially it was good experience. However the work did not hold up and it became a horrible experience when refused to back up his work and he yelled at me.

This was the 3rd time I called Chicagoland Plumbing because I was so very pleased with their work. The 1st time I dealt with Edwin, was last october, when I had an inside water pipe broken that was flooding my living room. Edwin was very thorough, and fast in finding the leak. He then very helpfully put a temporary plug until he was able to replace a section of the pipe, within the next few days. This was a major repair as it involved tearing down part of a wall, but he tried his best to minimize the cost and he did an outstanding job. I was extremely pleased and would absolutely recommend him to anyone. He is also very reliable as far as keeping his appointments. Knowledgeable, professional and an extremely nice guy who will not try to take advantage of you financially.

He was excellent. I had numerous problems with leaks with my old toilet. He found that the flange had not been screwed down to the base. The other plumbers had not been able to figure that out. Chicagoland quality plumbing did a great job and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Chicagoland Quality Plumbing.

Had small stain on my Living Room ceiling... so the guys came out a few weeks ago and thought it was the toilet ring above. Very professional in the repair of the ring at a fair price. Then, unfortunately, the small stain was't drying thereafter, so a few weeks later we had them back and they used a camera to look in my ceiling and found that it was a small leak in my water supply pipe to the bathroom. They came back days later to do the actual repair and it took about 90min. Fair price and very confident in the work performed. Great guys, very nice and answer all questions. Would definitely use them again.

Edwin made 2 trips to my condo. On the first trip, Edwin brought the wrong cartridge for my shower faucet, greatly apologized, and did not charge me for his time. I can't blame him though, he was working off a picture I emailed him the night before, as all I could tell him was that it was an American Standard single-handle faucet. Edwin came back two days later with the correct part and was able to complete the job with no problems. Edwin was extremely nice and responsive. I will call him again next time I need plumbing work done.

I didnt have much confidence in the crew the minute they walked in my door. The plumber didn't know he brand name of the sewer pumps their company uses. He had to ask the intern he brought with him what the brand name was. He recommended a new pump when I didn't actually need one. My drain was just clogged. Additionally the intern dripped sewer water all over my carpet when cleaning up. The next day after their service, sewer gas started leaking into my basement from where they removed the pump cap to fix the clog. The smell was so strong it started creeping up into the rest of my house. Their service is guaranteed for 1 year and I was having problems the next day. I spoke with the owner and he said he would persronally come out and recaulk in 3 days time if I was still having a problem. I'll be using another service before I have them back at my place, especially for their cost of $95 / hour.

I was concerned about a leak in our shower. Lifeline Plumbing came and checked our shower and informed me that there was no leak and only charged me for the visit. I asked them to check it several times and they patiently did so. I appreciate this HONESTY in a vendor. It is very rare nowadays and this is highly valued by me. I will do business with them and I highly recommend them. They were extremely professional and very courteous.

We noticed we had no hot water about 8 PM. I looked for plumbers on Angies List and chose Edwin's company. We called and left a message that evening saying that we would like a callback first thing in the morning. By 9 am no had called so I called them. The woman who answered the phone said that Edwin had already left for a job. When I asked if he/they had received my message she hesitated and said that Edwin had probably received it but was already gone. I asked when he would be able to call me back and she didn't know. I said I wanted the water heater fixed today and she said they couldn't guarantee that the repair would be done today because "he's pretty booked today". Clearly, this is not a provider for any kind of emergency service. Did they think I was going to wait a few days for hot water? Edwin did finally call back about 3:30 that afternoon but by then, the repair had been finished for 4 hours. Will not call them for any future services. At the very least, Edwin should have returned my call first thing in the morning and told me he would not have time for us. Not very professional.
