Work was top-notch. They responded to an odd request--to remove one kitchen and three bath faucets in preparation for granite and marble restoration, and then re-install the faucets after the work was done. They arrived promptly (even a little early) at the scheduled time before the stone guys came, allowing enough time to get the faucets removed while the stone guys started their work. Removed faucets completely and placed all parts in an organized fashion under the cabinets. No mess. Pointed out some potential issues and provided me leeway to decide how to resolve it after providing recommendations. I ended up getting a new kitchen faucet (I wanted one for a long time anyway) and they installed that as part of the original project. Also needed to replace some supply lines and they charged me for the materials but again did the labor for the cost of the original project. Finally, installed a new cartridge (I had provided) to fix a leak that started right around the time I scheduled them, again for the within the cost of the original project. David and Gerardo (apprentice) were very professional, good communicators, flexible (they came the next day to re-install even though that was off-schedule based on our original estimate), conscientious of my space and belongings, efficient, and polite. Final price was close to the original estimate despite the changes in scope and the areas they worked in were spotless when they left. Great team! Very happy with the results!

Oscar came initially and took measurements. I believe he is apprenticing, but seemed knowledgeable and then called Edwin with the details. He then gave me the estimate of what it would cost and when they could come and install it, which was 1:30 the next day. At 1:00, Oscar called to let me know he was running a bit late and it might be closer to 2 o'clock. He arrived before 2 and started the "prep" work of draining the tank, etc. Shortly afterwards, Edwin arrived. They then brought up the new water heater (I live in a condo) and took apart the old one and took it out. They were very careful, spreading pieces of cardboard along the way so as not to get the floor wet or dirty. Edwin then cleaned up the mess left under my leaky water heater while Oscar was busy loading it onto their truck. He also cleaned the mildewed wall that had been next to the defective water heater. They then installed the new one. They took everything with them and left no mess. My final bill was actually $30 less than the original estimate. Both men were very polite and professional. It was very refreshing to see a young man so polite and seemingly eager to learn. I would definitely recommend Chicagoland Quality Plumbing to anyone who needs a plumber.

He was efficient and took care of problem within an hour. He came out on a Saturday with no emergency fee. His cost was cheaper than other companies and he did the job quickly.

We really appreciate the honest of Edwin. They looked at the job and immediately told my son that they would tighten up the leaking valve and that it should stop the drip. It worked and it did stop the leak. I was at work and my 21 year old son was the only person here to let the plumber in. The process (estimated at 2 to 3 hours) was completed in just under 2 hours, including removal of the old tank. I was given a thorough explanation of the new tank, its energy properties, and capacity. All information was provided in a detailed format on the front of the tank as well as in the printed brochure attached. All hot water lines were checked in the house to ensure that the lines were properly functioning. I have used this company before, and will continue to use the plumbers in the future. I called about 9:30 in the morning and left a message to have someone call me. Edwin called at about 11:45 and we set an appointment for the next day. About an hour later Edwin called and asked if he could have a crew out that afternoon to take care of the problem. David and Oscar arrived just before 1:00 that same afternoon and proceeded to solve the problem. Unbelieveable, by 3:00 the problem was solved and the drain was running smoothly. Not only did David and Oscar solve the problem but David also managed to explain to me where I had gone wrong when I tried to do the work myself. These guys are real PROFESSIONALS!

I called Edwin on a Saturday morning and received a return phone call that same morning which was great as my issue was somewhat of an emergency. Edwin and Oscar promptly arrived, explained what they believed to be the problem and got working right away on the issue. Both my laundry tub and kitchen sink were clogged. I was really pleased with their excellent work and professionalism. They fixed both problems and cleaned up the areas very well when they were finished. I also advised them of a small leak/drip that I had for a while with the laundry tub and they were able to identify for me the source of the leak. The leak is a bigger problem than what I suspected so I will be getting it repaired/replaced at another time. Although not part of the original job, I also asked if they could check a gas line for a suspected leak. They handled that request for me the same day before they left. They patiently answered all of my questions. I am really happy with their work. I would definitely use them again.

The "repair" was relatively simple but they explained what the problem was and how I could avoid it in the future. I called Edwin of Chicago-land Quality Plumbing, Inc. on Saturday to schedule a time on Monday for him to look at the work. He came as promised and even waited little bit for us without any problem. He looked at the sink, and existing piping. Since existing drainage was on the floor and we needed to be done according to city codes (it's for business and city will be performing inspection), he was not sure if it will work and he mentioned he has to check with city people and if that does not work he has to look at the piping in the wall to see how much work is needed. Since he did not have experience with setting up bowl unit in the salon store. he even checked with his friend about drainage issue (whether floor drainage or p-trap on wall is needed) . In the end, he suggested all this research will unnecessarily take time and money with some uncertainty involved and it is better for us to check with local suburb plumb who knows Skokie rules and is familiar with similar situation. He even gave me some plumber contact for me to check, which I thought was nice. I thank him for taking time to come out and checking the work and giving all explanation on the work.

Edwin is outstanding. I would not consider calling another plumber. We've been working with Edwin for at least over a year. Each time he comes over, the work is thorough, thoughtful, and well done. He is very careful about costs and is sure to explain everything to us in a very clear manner. We live in a two-flat that is more than 100 years old so you can imagine that we have run into quite a few plumbing surprises as we've updated the building. For this particular project, Edwin and his colleague Albert relocated our drain and water lines in our kitchen as part of a remodeling project. It turned out to be a much bigger job than he expected because we discovered once we opened the wall that one of the main old pipes had cracked. Despite this setback and the fact that they were extremely busy due to the polar vortex and all the frozen pipes it caused, we received top notch service and our kitchen is now working fabulously.

(I almost wished I had waited until my single cousins arrived from out of town, because plumbers make good husbands. ) More importantly, he figured out right away what was wrong with my drains and my waterpressure in the bathroom. He replaced the faucet in the bathroom with a brand new part he happened to have on the truck. The entire visit took under one hour. Initially, I was afraid that it would be very expensive and take hours, but this young man was very efficient. He did not waste any time.

I explained that the water pressure in the 2nd floor shower was low on the hot side only . They did some pressure work to clear any restrictions in the pipes. Some of the hot water was also not being diverted from the faucet to the shower head so I asked to have that replaced. Marked improved in the water pressure after the work.

Work Getting access to the pipework required carefully cutting around tiles, after which standard plumbing practice applied. The existing faucet could not be repaired, so the pipes were stopped until I could source a new one. With the emergency aspect of the repair complete, I took the time to find the 'right' faucet, at which point he came back to finish the job.
