I purchased a Big Deal for $179 for a service call plus one hour of labor. I was contacted by Chicagoland Quality Plumbing within two days of my purchase looking to set up an appointment. I explained what the job was and we agreed upon a date and time for the work to be done. About 30 minutes before he was scheduled to arrive the plumber called to let me know they were on their way and would be there at the agreed upon time. They arrived right on time and got to work right away. The drain was plugged so badly the rodder couldn't get through from the kitchen so they had to remove the clean-out cap in the basement and back-rod the drain up to the kitchen and then down to the sewer line. I used to do this work in my younger days so I know what a pain the job is and what a mess it can make. I wasn't able to stay for the entire time they were working but when I got home that evening I was pleased with how well they'd cleaned up after themselves. I was also pleased with the quality of work. The drain runs better than it has in years and there are no leaks. The only issue was they forgot to replace the cold water supply line, which was dripping, on the initial visit. If I had been there when they finished the work I would have caught it. As it was, I called up Chicagoland Quality Plumbing the next day (a Saturday) to point that out. The owner came by that afternoon and took care of it himself. Now that's what I call service and making sure your customers are happy.

Edwin promptly responded to my inquiry regarding a simple replacement of kitchen faucet. They provided me with a quick date of service and accommodated my schedule. The workers came on time and provided the work in a quick and efficient manner. They were great!!

Appointment was confirmed by email and a follow-up call was received. Edwin came to the house, called that some fittings were needed for the new faucet, got the new fittings and installed the new faucet. He was absolutely meticulous and cleaned up after himself completely. Heartily recommend Chicagoland Quality Plumbing. Our experience was outstanding. Will call them again. For minor plumbing repairs, it is often difficult to get a serviceman to come out. In this case, the appointment was made on Monday for Tuesday after a service request was submitted on Sunday afternoon. Prompt, friendly service.

Edwin arrived at my house in a timely manner (he did place a call to let me know he was having trouble finding the address and would be there shortly) He was very respectful of my home, seeing the work that was done to restore it, the age of some of the fixtures (pipes, etc), as well as, careful not to track dirt into the house. Edwin first checked to make sure all equipment (sinks, toilets, etc) were turned off before he activated the water, so that he could slowly introduce the water through the piping. While performing this action, he discovered that a bathroom sink was clogged, and the reservoir tank of a new toilet would not fill. He replaced a component of the toilet which fixed the problem. He also gently worked out the clog to the sink until that was functioning. He ran the water in the sinks explaining that there would be air in the pipes that needed to be released and, cleared the filters of sediment that may have accumulated as a result of the flush. Being new to much of this, he took the lead to make sure everything was functioning correctly. With everything he did, he explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. He explained how things were when the home was built and how it is done today. He also noticed things that could be updated and offered suggestions as to how they might accomplished without any sales pitch. Edwin was very respectful, professional, and complete in his service to my home. Instead of just doing what was requested (activating the water from the outside) and leaving, he took the attitude that I had paid for the time and should get my money's worth. Because of that attitude, two problems were discovered and resolved so that I can move in without any plumbing surprises. I will be putting Chicagoland Plumbing on my vendor list should any need arise in the future.

The service went fine. They were very responsive and easy to schedule. I had them tune up the garbage disposal and clear the debris inside. I did have to call the company back out because the disposal broke again. One plumber came out and completed the job in under an hour. The first plumber did an excellent job. I believe he was the owner. The second plumber did have a hard time finding us and was a bit late to the appointment.

IWhat a pleasure to find a company that values customers, does quality work and is pleasant to deal with. From my first call to Edwin who said he would be happy to schedule a visit to my interaction with David, the tech who came out to fix the problem, this was such a positive experience. He arrived at the allotted time, went right to work, had a bit of a problem getting the auger through, but finally succeeded. We found a concrete item that we still haven't identified that was blocking the pipe and causing the toilet to run slow. Then he tightened the screws that affixed another toilet to the wall and the leak stopped under that toilet. And this work was done after I paid over $600 to another company, Lake Cook Plumbing and they did not resolve the problem--after two visits. I will never call another plumbing company!

Because i have an old pipe, water pressure for the shower was very low. When Edwin checked my shower, he found a lot of rusted pieces in the pipe. He had to come back because he did not have right parts. He cleaned pipe and did not have to use any new parts. He is very professional and does a quality work. I will recommend him for any plumbing work. He is honest and very reasonable.

Edwin was very helpful in terms of explaining the process and co-coordinating a date to come by. We couldn't determine the issue without seeing it, which is fair enough, so I originally purchased the 2 hour coupon. When his plumber did investigate he phoned to explain that the real issue was an unstable base which had, over time, caused it to lose the seal around the drain. The only thing he could do was re-apply caulking but could not guarantee how long it would last since the root cause was not addressed. I then contacted Edwin who indicated the charge was 1 hour and agreed to mail us a check for the extra hour that we did not use. We would definitely use their services again.

Edwan showed up at my house at around 3:00 or 3;15 some where around that time. Edwan check the pressure and said he was going to get his machine and try and blow out the line. I ask him if that would break my pipes he said he was not going to put a lot of pressure on the pipes.I asked were are you going to blow this out at said the bathroom sink which seemed a little odd to me, I was a liitle nerves with that. After about 10min he said that he would have to remove the values that blowing the pipes was not working. At that time i had NO water at all coming out of the flauet or the shower .He shut off the water and took off the handles, I heard some banging on the pipes and than he stopped called me up and says that he cannot get the valves out he would have to cut some of the tile away but he does not have the tools and its getting late he would have to come back on Monday and see what he can do. I asked him why would you start on something if you could not finish it he said he was not planning on doing anything just looking today. Before he left he says let me show you were the main shut off valve is to the house just in case something happens. My question is why did'nt he take off the valves first and see if they were glogged and than we could take it from there.

I called the first number on Friday 7/18/2014, got a voice mail and i left a message about needing urgent service for my sewage ejector pump. i got no call back! I called both numbers again on Saturday, left another message but got no call back. I would have called someone else, but i liked the reviews i read, and i didn't want to pass up on "great service" as indicated. I skipped calling on Sunday "keep the Sabbath holy". I called again on Monday and left a message stating that this was my third call without a response!!! I finally get a call back from Edwin on Tuesday afternoon, without much of an apology, i overlooked that and went on to explain my problem indicating that i needed my sewage ejector pump replaced. I was quoted $650 and i indicated that i needed this done urgently. He said he would probably not have any availability until Thursday and was going to check his schedule and get back to me that same day. Today is Friday and i still haven't heard back from him. I'm not sure where all the positive reviews have come from, but surely mine wasn't. In some way, i'm glad i never used these guys, i definitely would not want to be chasing them around if something went wrong. Good Luck to them.

I called Edwin based on the Angie's List reviews. He was extremely nice and professional and worked to fit me in on July 23rd. He arrived when he indicated that he would, and with his assistant, was very attentive to being careful with our home and laying out a tarp to avoid dropping any insulation from the attic access that they had to crawl through. The location of the vent pipe in the attic was very difficult, but Edwin said that it was ok, he just had to move slowly and carefully. This was a HUGE difference from the other Angie's List plumber we had come out to give us a bid. That plumber had complained about having to use a ladder to get into the attic and where the location of the leak was. That plumber was going to charge me about $200 extra just because it was a difficult location. Not Edwin. He moved through the attic, found the leak, and fixed it efficiently and with no incident. He took pictures to show me what he'd done since I wasn't even considering going up there!! He explained what he had done and why the leak had occurred in the first place (shoddy workmanship by a recent contractor). He then gave me a discount since I was an Angie's List member and charged me less than he had originally quoted over the phone. He explained that he didn't want to charge for the full hour since they hadn't stayed the full second hour (not often do I find that). As he said "This is a fair price". I was so impressed by the professional and caring way Edwin went about his work and his assistant was very attentive as well. He worked efficiently with experitise and charged a fair price. I have found my forever plumber.

Oscar was punctual, professional, courteous & did a great job. Our old toilets had been flush to the back wall and when they were removed, tile was very dirty and Oscar went to his van and returned with a cleaner to remove all the dirt & grime from the tile. He cleaned up completely before he left and made sure there were no leaks. Both toilets working great. We would definitely call for future plumbing needs.

The company was very difficult to make contact with to schedule. Once scheduled, confusion around when the apt was scheduled for. Once they he arrived, difficult to communicate and work with.

I called on Tuesday, July 1st because our tub is not draining. I was told by the woman that because of the storms we had the night before they may not get to me that day. No problem. I understand that. The next morning(Wednesday) I received a voicemail from a gentleman from the company. I didn't get to call him back until later that day. He said he called because they had been in my area that morning and wanted to see if they could come then. I explained that my husband and I were working and couldn't have been there then. He then said to call the main office again to schedule. So I did. I then spoke to the owner I believe. I asked if they could come by after 2p that Thursday (the next day). He said they would call us at 2p on Thursday. No one called. Unfortunately both my husband and I were so busy we didn't notice until about 5p. So we had no bathtub for the entire holiday weekend. While maybe we could have been paying more attention on Thursday and called to find out where they were I don't feel that that should be our job. They should do what they say. We won't be using them.

He squeezed me in on Saturday after the July 4th holiday when no one else was available. He was neat and made helpful recommendations for permanent correction.

He was a few minutes late, but he did call. Everything went fine after that. He was very neat and cleaned up after himself.

The plumber did a very good job. He came on time, was very efficient and cleaned up at the end.

llThis was an excellent experience. I thought I would have to buy a new faucet (this one being quite expensive) but Edwin diagnosed the problem and encouraged me to call Blanco. It turned out to be a life time warranty and sent me the cartridges. Edwin was always available when I called and was prompt in the day we arranged (also very friendly and professional). His charge was the same as his first estimate, so no surprises. I was especially pleased because the first company I called (Tritan Plumbing) tried to sell me a new faucet and never encouraged me to call the manufacturer. In fact, he said he could get the cartridges but they would be $90 some dollars apiece and his cost would be around $600.00 to install them!!! (I will write a second review on that company!). At any rate, I was relieved and very pleased with Edwin. I can keep my faucet and it doesn't leak!!! I would highly recommend this company and will call Edwin in the future is we have any problems.

Edwin is very good to work with. He is easy to get a hold of and was able to schedule the project quickly as well as finish it quickly. I would definitely use him in the future.

When I called to have a faucet replaced, we scheduled the work for 8:30 AM. I was explicit that I preferred an appointment early in the morning. At 8:45 AM on the day of the appointment, I received a call from Edwin that he was running late. He said that he had to "do something in the shop" before stopping by and that he'd be at my house in a few minutes. Almost a half-hour passes by before he actually shows up. At that point, I told him that I needed to leave because he arrived too late. Now, I understand that some people can't make their appointments, especially if one runs longer than expected. In fact, the whole point of having it first thing in the morning was to avoid the risk of running late due to other appointments. If he couldn't make the scheduled time, then he should've let me known prior and we could've rescheduled. Showing up unreasonably late like that was just unprofessional.

Contacted Chicagoland Plumbing through Angie's list to fix my tenant's leaking bathroom sink. I requested they contact my tenant directly and make arrangements quickly. They made arrangements with my tenant and showed up as promised and did a great job. Price was good and service was excellent. My tenant was very pleased. I will definitely be using them again for all future plumbing issues.

These guys were great! I needed to replace an old toilet in a condo I purchased and they responded the same day I submitted an online request, gave me a very reasonable quote (I had checked 3 other plumbing companies and they were the cheapest), and scheduled time around my schedule. Their technician communicated with me the day he would arrive and kept me up to speed on his schedule. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and quick with getting the toilet replaced. I definitely recommend these guys!
