Edwin returned my calls right away; helped get me on his schedule faster than any other plumber; confirmed the times; showed up on time; was meticulous about protecting our floors and work area and always cleaned up. Highly recommend and would definately use him again for a future plumbing need.

Edwin responded immediately to my message. He came out 2 days later in the evening to assess the work. He told me I needed a few parts and would try to get out as soon as possible to fix it. The only part I didn't care for was that I just got a random call on Saturday morning saying they could be at my house in a half hour. Luckily I was available and they came out and fixed it. It ended up being a little bigger project than I thought it would be. They were still very professional and the basement has been completely dry ever since. I would highly recommend them. They respond quickly and get the job done. Thanks guys!!!

They came to do the job, and found out the deal didn't really fit the job I needed. The young man that was here was very nice, but he was told to do a different job than what I needed. Therefore the company did seem unorganized especially when it came to communication.

I have reviewed this company before with always excellent results. We woke to a flooded basement. I called Edwin and they worked probably a total of 10 hours trying to find the blocked sewer line; they were in contact with the city (Evanston). To make a long story short, we knew it was going to be expensive. The blockage was very hard to locate. They used a camera when the water finally went down and found it. There are more gory details but just to reiterate, Edwin and his workers (thanks Oscar) are absolutely the best. It could have been even more expensive given the time they spent, but they combined the cost of the camera and the jet routing once they found the problem. Again, I am so pleased to know we have professional but a caring company that is trustworthy. I trusted that the money it cost was well and fairly spent.

They did a very professional job of installing and stuck around a little while to make sure the water was getting hot and that there were no leaks. I also have used them for some sewer problems. The last time they were out for that Edwin came out on Saturday and attempted several times to clear the line without success. The problem was the sewer line in the street. He arranged to have a city inspector come out along with himself and attempt to rod it again. The inspector agreed the problem was in the street which turned out to be a collapsed line which the city fixed. I find him to be very professional and a straight shooter.

The work was great. They were in and out quickly. They were prompt. I would recommend them to anyone because they worked quickly and seemed knowledgeable.

We thought our disposal was blocked but it turned out to be a pipe. They came out the same day, in a matter of hours. In spite of that, the cost was very reasonable. They located the pipe and snaked it, unblocking it. It took about an hour and I thought the cost was very reasonable. Plus he fixed a handle on our kitchen faucet that was turning the wrong way. This is the second time we have used them and we were just as pleased this time as last. They are very kind and professional at the same time.

No complaints here would use Chicagoland plumbing again.

Edwin came on a Saturday morning very promptly after I contacted him about clearing our tub drain, which was completely blocked. My husband and I had returned two days previously from a trip to discover several inches of water in our tub, and it would not drain. Our friend had run some water from our shower and tub spigot during the coldest of the weather while we were away. As the drain was perfectly clear when we left and the drain is not on an outside wall, my husband and I were stumped. We had tried everything, including a lot of hot water, so we didn't really consider that ice could be a factor. Edwin tried the usual solutions of rodding and the air pump to no avail. We were actually talking about the possibility that we might have to open up the wall to see what was obstructing the drain so completely. He was close to packing up when he said he thought it had to be ice. He was explaining that I should try using a funnel to pour hot water into the overflow drain to see what would happen when suddenly he got the idea to hook up the hot water from our sink and run it directly into the overflow drain. After a few minutes the drain cleared completely. He explained that cold air must somehow be getting through the outside wall near where the drain is located. Sure enough, our AC condenser is located outside directly adjacent to where our tub is located in the bathroom. When it was installed they had to drill holes through the wall at this location. While they insulated around the holes, it appears this must be the place where the cold air is getting in. First of all, Edwin realized the problem must be ice, but I thought his idea to use the hot water directly from our bathroom sink was brilliant. Solving the problem quickly saved us from having to open up the entire wall to see where the blockage was located and to see what it was! In addition to fixing the problem, Edwin gave me some good tips to help keep the drain completely clear in the future, i.e. fill the tub up half way about once a month and then let it drain out and use bio-enzymes regularly to clear any scum build-up. Maybe everyone is aware of these things, but I was not! I have always relied on awful chemicals to clear my drains. Edwin was very kind, considerate, and pleasant to deal with. He had a nice young man with him to assist, who was also very nice. Edwin will now be the plumber we will always call in the future with any problems.

Great service. The plumber, Edwin, came and perform everything. He was charging about $90 dollars an hours. He seems very knowledgeable and nice. Gave me several advice and was clean and professional.

Promised a quote in about 3 days. After about 2 weeks I e-mailed him as to status. He replied with "sorry" and said he would respond soon. It is now Dec. 17th. with no response. This was no small job Very unprofessional. Your competitors thank you

I usually do not take the time to write a negative review... but this experience is one of the worst I have ever had with a vendor. I own a three flat in Chicago. My bottom unit has been flooding through water backing up in their kitchen sink randomly the past week or so and then draining. I called chicagoland plumbing because i wanted someone who could get there quickly to address the problem. They sent a young man who is polite but clearly not very knowledgeable. Before the plumber showed up on site, I had down research into possible problems that could cause the sort of water issues we had seen. When they arrived, I gave him access to all of the units to diagnosis would could be the issue. I showed him video of the incidents occurring. I allowed him to run some feedback tests with several other plumbing fixtures in other units. Long story short, he was clueless as to what any of that meant. So he rain a snake through the drain and found nothing. I had to end up telling him what the issue probably was (clogged plumbing vent) and then he concurred that could be the case. I asked them to clear out my plumbing vents from the roof. He called his boss and explained the situation to which they told me they could come back on Monday (this was a friday) to complete the job. Not be mindful, since i have identified the cause of the flooding (my top unit running heavy draining plumbing, i.e. laundry) I have asked that unit to cease using these fixtures until the issue is resolved. Monday comes and i don't hear from them at all... so I call them. Edwin completely forgot to write it down they were supposed to come by today and wanted to reschedule to tomorrow. So Tuesday comes (today) and the same guy shows up with someone who looks equally inexperienced. Now i am not one to judge by age, as I am young myself, but having had the experience with him I did friday, it was clear to me he had less experience than I needed on this job. They go up to the top unit to look at how to get on the roof (which we knew would be necessary from friday) and then come to tell me they don't feel comfortable going up there and don't have the tools to do it. They then write up the bill for me for one hour of work which came to $175. But just a a gesture to me they gave me a discount of $10... gee thanks. I will be sure to avoid this company again and have written this review in hopes that you find yourself a more experienced bunch as well. If I have to choose between "nice but incompetent" and "competent but lacking social graces"... give me competent. I have lost 4 days with these guys... its my fault for not vetting them better.

Oscar was punctual, polite, and efficient. He was knowledgeable but told me clearly where he wasn't sure. The drain flies may come back eventually, but I feel confident in the mitigation plan that he walked me through in case that happens. I was also happy about the transparency of the pricing. The hourly charge is reasonable, and the total cost came in at half of what someone else was going to charge me to do the same thing. Thanks!

We are very happy with the services we received and the price was great. I contacted Edwin the morning of November 12th and he was able to come out within a couple of hours to provide an estimate. He assessed all four sinks and was able to identify the problems quickly and make all repairs immediately. We had called other plumbers to repair these leaks on several occasions in the past, without success. It turned out that there was a thin crack in one of the sink?s drainage basket which caused the leaking of one sink. Edwin found and corrected the problem. Our sinks are leak free, thanks to Edwin. We will definitely use Chicagoland Quality Plumbing, Inc. in the future.

Edwin showed up after I had experimented with Angie's Snapfix app. He was only prepared to do an estimate but after I asked if he could do it now, he jumped right in and started work. I appreciated his ability to try to prevent having to run out to the store to save me some dollars and he was able to get the job to my expectations. I had removed a soffit in my master bathroom and noticed that the sink vent pipe was tucked away in there. I needed it moved in order to raise the ceiling to the rest of the level and that is why I started using the snapfix app. All-in-all, I thought Ediwn did a great job and would use him again if needed.

I contacted Edwin regarding an estimate for some plumbing work, we set a time for him to come over and look at the work. Edwin arrived on time to the appointment and provided us with a written estimate for the work. After several estimates we decided that we wanted Edwins company, Chicagoland Quality Plumbing Inc to do the work. When I called to make the appointment Edwin said that due to a prior commitment he would not be the one doing the work, but another one of his employees who was well qualified would. David, Edwins employee, arrived on time and with an assistant. As he began working, another employee arrived to help them remove the old water tank from the house and bring in the new one. The work went very smoothly and David answered all the questions I had. As David moved from job to job in the house, he and his assistant were very friendly and courteous and explained to me all the things that they were doing and pointed out some possible future problems that we should have corrected. Some of the repairs that were on the estimate turned out to be not as bad as they seemed, like a possible valve replacement turned into a simple valve tightening. David said that we would not be charged for this or the check of the water main valve. Because of the the money that we saved on these simple fixes we were able to get some additional plumbing work done that we thought we would not be able to afford. Both David and Edwin were very helpful in giving me some advise regarding some other plumbing concerns that I had, allowing me to correct them myself because of how simple that they were to perform. Due to the extra unexpected work that I had David perform, he was not able to finish it all that day, so we set a time for him to return on the following day. David and his assistant arrived on time and were able to finish the rest of the work. Later that day after David and his assistant left, we discovered that the kitchen sink that we had them reconnect the hot water to, which had not been used in many years, had caused the laundry sink to become clogged because of some material that had been in the drain system of that sink . I called Edwin and told him about the situation and Edwin said that David was currently committed to another job but would be able to send him back the day after, which he did and roded out the pipes which cleared the issue. I was not not charged for this. We are extremely pleased with the work that David did and it was such a pleasure to deal with both Edwin and David! I would not hesitate to use them for any of our future plumbing needs and would highly recommend them to friends, family or anyone!

They were fast, thorough and honest. He had my tenant flush the toilet to confirm that was the source, then identified the problem as a worn gasket and replaced it -- then looked for other sources of potential issues -- as we had leakage in the past. None identified. I looked at past reviews, and the only negatives I could find on these guys was punctuality and/or slow response during a patch of tough weather a while back. They have clearly been revealed in past reviews as honest, and I experienced same, so I will use them again and would recommend.

Turning on the faucet of my laundry room deep sink caused a large puddle of water to spread over the floor beneath the sink. I immediately turned to Angie's List, to look up the best rated Plumbers serving my area. There were several to choose from, but the outstanding customer reviews and numerous Service Awards for Chicagoland Plumbing made my decision easy. I contacted Chicagoland Plumbing, requested a specific window of time beyond just AM or PM, and promptly received a confirmation for the first date I had chosen. Edwin and his assistant, Gerardo, came to my home at the agreed time, identified the problem immediately, and while Gerardo was sent back to the office for the needed parts, Edwin offered to check any other sinks/toilets in my home, to make sure everything was working properly. That's customer service "above and beyond"!! Gerardo returned in short time with the parts, Edwin installed them, and even offered to come back within 30 days if needed for this problem. That was not necessary. I am very pleased with the prompt, skillful work of Chicagoland Plumbing, and can wholeheartedly say they deserve your business!
