I have used Chicagoland Plumbing a few times in the past and they are always punctual and professional. I had the building plumber for my condo look at the issue and rod the drain. It wasn't until the drain work was done that Oscar suggested the building clean out the pit outside the building. I have had water backup issues and the building plumber's solution was to rod the drain and never did they suggest to clean out the pit which was the cause all along. The water backup was a HUGE problem because of the mess it left with the dirt and grime from the drain spilling into my kitchen. What a relief to find the RIGHT solution! I will only use Chicagoland Plumbing for my plumbing repairs. Thank you so much!

Determined the cause of the leak, took photos and provided to the owner who phoned the next day to say they would not take the job. They reportedly did not have time, but when pushed admitted they did not want the job because 1) they didn't want to deal with a condo building, even though they were informed of this before anyone was sent out, and 2) they didn't want to work with cast iron pipes, even though the next plumbing company I had out explained that all Chicago condo buildings 5 stories or higher are required to use cast iron pipes. Pretty disappointing. The only good news is they refunded the $140 they charged to analyze the situation. (The next plumbing company to come out did not even charge to assess the situation and provide the estimate.)

Tried contacting Chicagoland Quality Plumbing by filling out their online form. Never received any response, so I called and left a message when no one answered. Again, no response. Maybe they couldn't perform the job I described? That seems unlikely since it was a fairly straightforward issue. Either way, it would be nice to know so I don't waste time waiting for a response that does not come. For me, this was a "D" experience. Sounds like others have had a better experience, unfortunately, it looks like I won't know.

I called Chicagland plumbing on Thursday and got a voicemail. I left a message. Mr. Flores called me back within minutes. I told him the problems I had been having and th things I had tried. He listened carefully and then asked me a few pertinent questions. He told me he could come out the next day and the price would be $350 for removing the toilet and rodding the lines. I was ecstatic as I expected him to come up with some astronomical price. He said they would be there between 12:30 and 2:30. The next the technicians called at 11:19 to say they would be at my house within the hour. Ten minutes later they called to say they had an emergency call and would come as soon as they were done. I was okay with as they were still ahead of their window of 12:30 - 2:30. They called at 1 to say they were on their way. Gerado and Peter arrived at 1:30. They were friendly, professional and informative. They asked questions looked at the bathroom, checked the basement lines and the basement bathroom, went outside to check for catch basin. All the while they told me exactly what they were looking for and why. Then we back in the house where they removed the toilet, got their equipment and went to work. While they were working they discovered a problem with my tub and they fixed that too! These two were very efficient, quick and informative. They gave me tips on how to maintain the lines so that this doesn't happen again. I was very pleased with the results and wishedthat iI had called them sooner.

I have tried to contact this service provider several times. I have called and left voicemails and never received a call back. I have completed the Contact Us form on their website and never heard back. Maybe they do great work when you get a hold of them, but I have tried several times with no response or follow up.

We have an old home think 100+ Years old. we discovered a leak in the basement that had been there some time...enough to waterlog a dresser and ruin it. In fact we did not see the leak because the dresser was soaking up the drips. It is a maze of pipes and we were worried about getting a good service provider. They were great! Oscar explained to my elderly parents what was happening, and what would be required to fix it. Turns out the toilet in there flat had been leaking for into the basement. Toilet fixed, leak stopped, and even came back out to check the work when my dad wanted to double check something. We have their cards on the frig and will definitely use them again should something else go amiss.

Very professional. I purchased a deal through Angie's List, and the contractor contacted me almost immediately. He showed up right on time, and explained everything he was going to do. Would definitely use again.

Professional, courteous, did every thing as I wanted it done utilizing 6" inch blade from my outside clean-out to the street getting rid of all the roots blocking my sewer pipe. The gentleman that was out here was extremely pleasant and did a great job including cleanup before he left.

They were wonderful. The customer service was fantastic.

I spoke with Edwin on the phone and he gave me the price of $550 to hydrojet the sewer lines. Oscar and Gerardo were professional, courteous and explained each step. Through the service took longer than they anticipated, they honored the quoted price. Would definitely use them again.

Technicians were very professional, friendly, courteous. They checked their work before leaving and cleaned everything up. Did a great job! The owner and the office manager are also excellent communicators. They respond promptly to requests and inquiries, and explain the work clearly and in a helpful way.

Edwin Flores is great to work with. He treats the job as if it was his own home and worked on the project himself along with 2 of his employees. Beautiful work and I paid almost 1/2 of what the scottish Plumber quoted me ($9,500) for the same job. he did mention that he may have under bid the job but he never asked for more money, He is truly a professional that I would highly recommend!

On very short notice CQP had a plumber out to me. He arrived on time in a clearly marked van and did his job very well, taking his time, but not dragging. He tested his work several times for leaks and cleaned up after himself. Highly recommend.

It went very well - Edwin himself came for the first job and he had some of his crew come out for the necessary rodding work. We were very happy with the job that they did. They were all timely and very professional, and did a great job.

I am a recent widow and my late husband always took care of home repairs so I appreciated that before anything was done their tech, Oscar, explained what had to be done and gave me his best estimate of when they would be finished and the cost. Their usual charge is $95.00 per hour but they charged me $85.00/ hour because I was a first time customer. The price charged includes materials too. There was a second tech, Gerardo, who worked on the first floor, and although Oscar mostly worked on the second floor he supervised Gerardo's work. They were very professional, polite, and kept within the time parameters that I had asked of them. Something else I appreciated was that when I called them in the morning I was told that they would not be able to be here until 2 p.pm. I received a call from them at about 1p.m that they were finishing up their work and would be on their way to my house. They arrived on time.

Oscar looked for a leak that was going through the ceiling in the basement apt and appeared to be coming from the 1st floor. He inspected the toilet, checked and took pictures of the visible pipes and put a small hole in the basement ceiling to check for pipes there. He ran water in the tub and sink but the leak did not occur. He said that he needed to go into the walls to investigate further. I was not comfortable with putting unnecessary holes in the wall so we decided to try to pinpoint the problem by finding out what was running the next time it leaked. He then flushed and serviced a 75 gallon hot water tank that's about 15 years old. Oscar was early for our appt, professional and seemed knowledgeable. The B rating is because my problem wasn't resolved. The hourly rate was exactly as quoted and included the 10% discount for Angie's List Members and I expected to pay for supplies. However, I wasn't informed about the $55 service/travel charge. Since Chicagoland Plumbing was here, the leak resurfaced and it appears to be coming from the 2nd floor apt. I will have them come back for the repair.

Young man arrived early, made some holes in the ceiling, took pictures, discussed a project with me. He told me his boss would come by Tues. afternoon to take a look. It's Friday...I have heard nothing.

He was easy to communicate with, responsive and fast. Would recommend him in the future.

Given that there were multiple plumbing fixes taking place in a multi-unit apartment building, Edwin brought two gentlemen to perform the work. Edwin and his team were competent, courteous, and professional. I'll call them again soon for additional work related to water heaters and other tasks where I need a professional.

Oscar was very professional and courteous. Our sink has begun to leak again but I don't think it has to do with the labor. It has been fixed twice before and I think it probably needs to be replaced.
