He was really good. They were thorough and there was one piece of moulding, there was one set of utility closet that was a little bit away from the wall because the wall was not perfectly shaped apparently and I didn't like that, and they came back they out a small piece of moulding there.

I enjoyed working with Tim on our Murphy bed project for our nursery. I had 4 other consultations and Chicagoland Custom Closets was by far the best price and design. We're very pleased with the results! Tim also fixed our pantry that wasn't installed properly by Quality Custom Closets (who refused to come and fix it) free of charge! We are already planning on hiring them again to install closets in our new home. I highly recommend this company to anyone.

Good news, the total cost is about the same as other companies. Bad news, the other companies' proposals are a much better value in terms of what is included. Time came out, he's very pleasant, but we felt the value simply was not there.

I contacted Tim Fowler the company president for an estimate. He was on time with his estimate and his price was much better than all the other bids. Tim was able to complete the work in a professional and timely manner. This was one of the best experiences I have had dealing with a contractor.

Tim came within a couple days of my first call. He noted down everything that we wanted and within a few days a drawn-up plan was emailed to me. The plan was approved (there were no changes), the materials were ordered and the work was done approx. a week later. It was/is beautiful. What a difference to have places to put things in an old Chicago bungalow with small rooms and few closets. Tim is friendly and very easy to work with. His plans exactly represent what he will be doing. The work is meticulous. You can get as fancy or as utilitarian as you want. We did utilitarian -- cherry wood veneer with stainless handles. And it really is lovely. Tim and his worker left no mess - no mistakes - nothing but good closets and appreciation for his work.
