Fabulous! Rafal the estimator was great. He showed up on time, walked through the house with me, very detailed explanation of what work could be done and how long it would take. Fair price on the estimate. Rafal actually was one of the painters at this company 7 years ago when we hired this company to paint the house when he bought it. Val was the crew chief for 3 painters - he was also great. They showed up on time every day, cleaned up very well every day, communicated well what work was done the previous day and would be completed that day. Apparently he's worked for the company over 10 years. Nice to hire a company that has long term employees. Nice to hire a company again from 7 years ago and have a great experience again. We will hire the company again to do more painting next year when we have more money.

Everything went great. The owner laid out expectations and his painters met them. The crew completed the job in the timeframe I was given. The crew was always on time and very courteous. It was a great experience and I would recommend Chicago Painters to anyone.

The whole crew worked hard and accommodated us with other trades working around them. The painters paid great attention to detail in all their work. Especially in the kitchen. The painters would fix any imperfection they saw. Some that we didn’t even notice at first. It was obvious that there was a lot of experience and knowledge amongst the whole painting crew.

Valentine and his team at Chicago painters did an amazing job. The house is unrecognizable from before. It looks like a new house. They removed all wallpaper (a huge job with a ton of prep work needed), smoothed all the walls, patched all holes with a meticulous attention to detail. They came back to re-paint some accent walls and do some touch-ups around the baseboards after I replaced them. Overall, I am very impressed with these guys. Extremely clean cut lines at the ceilings. They know what they're doing. Maureen, Jim, and Cheryl in the office were extremely communicative and pleasant throughout. Would definitely recommend, and hire again.

I hired Chicago Painters for my newly purchased and remodeled 2 bed, 2 bath condo in Evanston. The woman who came for the quote was so friendly and professional. She provided me with a quote that was competitive with other companies, but what tipped the scale was her description of the service the company would provide - she promised full service. They certainly fulfilled that promise. The only thing I had to do was pick out paint colors and let the crew in on the first morning of the job. They finished the job in two days, which was very surprising (I thought it would take at least 3 days). The condo looks fantastic, and they cleaned up well afterwards. The extra paint was left in a nice stack in my living room. Additionally, the morning I let the crew in, I noticed a newly formed settling crack in my wall. The crew chief told me they'd repair that and make it look great. Result: you'd never know that happened, and I appreciate his care and extra efforts on that. The office staff is also professional and very easy to work with. In sum, I had a great experience and would recommend them.

Clay came in to do the estimate and quoted $1100 for one coat of paint as I was going to supply the paint. When Denny and Ricardo came they said it would require two coats. Luckily, Jim worked with me to keep the price the same for 2 days work and the paint I bought was enough for 2 coats. The work they did was great and I would highly recommend them as they understood that I made an honest mistake thinking one coat would be fine and they still did a great job.

Jim and his team did an excellent job painting! They did my whole condo in 3 days, and they did everything from the doors, to the trim, ceilings, etc. Highly recommended!

They were very punctual, polite and clean. The entire job took about a week. The trim and the crown molding seem to have taken forever! It was 3 days before there was paint on the wall - but in their defense there is a LOT of trim in my unit. For the most part, it looks great. There are a couple of areas that need some touch up, but I think they have a 30-day touch up guarantee. I was happy with the service and would use them again.

The father-son team were prompt and efficient both days they worked. They were from Europe, and the father didn't speak english, but had trained his son, who did all of the communicating with me. The son was in his early 20's, and very, very mature, very professional. I was impressed by them. The son had questions. I was able to work out exactly what I wanted with him, and he answered my questions. The paint work is excellent, and good value for the money. The lines where the walls meet the ceiling and the molding near the floor are perfect. The colors are exactly where they're supposed to be, without any errant brushstrokes or roller marks. The coverage is even and uniform. I gave them a "B" on quality for one minor error. They didn't remove the intercom plate to paint the wall edges underneath it, and then replace the plate when the paint finished drying. It's an easy object to remove, it's just held in place by two long bolts. It seems like they instead chose to paint the wall right up against the side of the intercom plate, with some of the paint adhering to the intercom plate itself. A few weeks after this paint work was done, I needed to get at the wires under the intercom plate. Some of the paint from the wall that was painted onto the edge of the intercom plate ended up getting chipped apart. I have to get around to making this cosmetic fix to the small chipped areas with the leftover paint used on that area, and a small brush. It's surprising that this minor problem with the intercom plate occurred at all, since they were so careful with the light switch plates, which the son specifically mentioned, unprompted by me, they would remove, paint under, and replace. Therefore, I assumed they'd do that with all of the removable plates.

Jim and his team are amazing. So professional, scheduled and always on time. They finished the entire job in two days. Walked me thru afterwords to make sure I was happy with everything and then followed up again at a later date. They do amazing, clean work and always finish in a timely manner.

I have used this company before for painting and they did a great job, so I contacted them about a drywall fix and painting. They were easy to schedule. They confirmed the night before. They showed up on time. The worker who arrived was very nice and professional. The job he did was fantastic. I wasn't sure if a painting company could do a good job on a drywall repair, but the owner Jim assured me they would do a good job. And they did. I will continue to use this company. They have grown over the past few years, but the level of service still seems excellent. Good job Chicago Painters!

This was my 1st time dealing with a larger company and the process was seamless! From Cheryl, the upbeat and friendly Office Manager, Clay the estimator and Ray the main painter, every step was done with courtesy and professionalism. Jim the owner, made himself available, via cell phone & email before, during, and after the job was completed. The finish product is outstanding and I would definitely recommend and use Chicago Painters again. My husband who in a previous career was a painter, said he could not have done a better job himself. Ray was on-time, efficient and extremely neat! When asked, he gave me his honest opinion on painting a wall a certain color, which turned out great. If your looking for excellence, ask for Ray....he's worth the wait!

Prompt response to quote request and quick to send someone to house. Completed the job quickly at the price that was quoted. Painters showed up at time agreed and where very neat and cleaned up at end of day.

I didn't end up going with them though but they were fine. They were on time when we got the quote. They were very responsive. They quoted me for $7000.

Very good job, high (20') ceilings but got everything with almost no areas for retouching. Ended up costing more than the original estimate since they needed a third coat, but they were covering very dark paint with much lighter so wasn't too much of a shock. Done on time and left a clean job site.

Chicago Painters were great! They painted several rooms in our new home and we couldn't be happier with the quality of the work and knowledge of the painters. We will definitely use them again.
