This was basically an emergency call as the door spring had broken this morning. Came at the appointed time, were very professional and explained everything in detail. Installed the necessary new parts and serviced all the other moving parts. Only time will tell how long the new parts will last in our Chicago weather, this is a non heated garage. I believe that the service quality was at a superior level and I will certainly use them again. Price was very acceptable.

Our garage opener stopped working, so I contacted Chicago Metro. The scope of work needed was beyond what the $99 coupon could cover, but the company quoted a price to fix the opener, which sounded reasonable, so we decided to go with them. Dave, who gave us a quote, came in the time frame agreed upon and replace a logic board of the opener and installed the new sensors. He even did a turne-up of the doors, which was not part of the quote. The garage opener since then has been working smoothly and we are very happy with the service provided by Chicago Metro.

He did the work and I haven't had a problem since. He came out promptly and was done promptly. The quality was excellent. He did a good job. I almost forgot about it, but he called me and I went out and he was right there, waiting for me. He was, without a doubt, very professional. I would definitely use him again if I need them.

The door definitely goes up and down more smoothly and with less noise. He told us the option to replace parts with silicone to make it even more quiet. We chose not to do that at this time, and he wasn't pushy about trying to sell us more than what we had asked him to do. I definitely like that. I cannot judge the price because this is my first experience with this type of service, but it seemed very reasonable.

I noticed that my spring is broken, I called Chicago Metro and they set me up with same day appointment, Miguel the Tech came on time he was very polite and professional, he fixed my door in 45 min !!! he also performed tune up on my door at no additional cost. So happy i found those guys on Angies' List. Highly recommended!

The work was done for my sisters home I tried to find her a local company that can come out asap. They not only came out the same day the Tech Dave did such a good job had her out before our dinner plans. Way to go CHICAGO METRO.

I had used them earlier to replace a garage door spring and had obtained a verbal quote for garage door replacement and opener installation. They honored the quote when I decided to go ahead with the project a few months later. The quote was very competitive and Miguel was punctual and professional. The doors look pretty good and have decent insulation too. He worked through a miserable cold december day and ensured that everything was in working order when he left (including hauling away my old wooden doors). He had to come back for minor adjustments with the opener which he did on his own volition - I didn't have to remind him. Overall, very positive experience.

My experience with this company was very positive. The gears of my old opener stripped out on one of the coldest days in February. The next morning, I called and received same day service! He was prompt and courteous. We quickly decided on replacement instead of repairing the old unit. He worked in the barely-above-single-digit temperature of my garage to remove the old unit, install the new motor, control panel and keyless entry pad. He used silicone to lubricate the formerly squealing rails. I entered the new code, tested out the system and learned about improvements to garage door openers in the past 15 years. I paid the man and he was on his way. Perfect! I did not shop around for price comparisons prior to this appointment, so I have no idea if the price was fair. That said, I have a high-quality product, professionally installed by a reputable company with a 2-year installation warranty. I'm pretty happy.
