He had done previous work for me and had done an excellent job and I was very happy with his work, so I hired him for my kitchen remodel. Right off the bat, there was an issue with my electrical outlet placement. It is uneven and looks awful and is not even with the rest of my outlets. I am going to need to hire someone else to fix this issue. Another issue is that when he put the flooring in, he didn't know how to use the special epoxy grout that I had requested he use and was installed incorrectly, which left a film on the ceramic tiles. I ended up having to purchase a special solution in order to clean it up off the tiles. He also added too much water to the grout and caused it to creates voids in it and is not even. I also have a big issue with the replacement of my closet/ furnace door. I was leaving for vacation when he advised that the door I wanted would not be available before I left for my trip. I agreed to let him install the door while I was away and made arrangements for someone to let him in to do the install. It was a couple of months before he was ready to do the install and I was still away on my 6 month trip. When I came back around the end of May, I noticed that he had installed a cheap quality cardboard looking door. I advised him that I wanted the closet door to match my bathroom door as I had initially requested. He told me that the door I was wanting was no longer available where he shopped. I was not satisfied with this and found that my door was available at a different store. I waited and called him and received no response from him. I would never hire him again and feel this is very unprofessional service and behavior.
