 + -1 moreWe heard from them on Monday morning. They said they could not find anything wrong with the machine. The had it is running for hours, there was no overheating, it did not shut itself down. We came to pick it up. I was a bit dubious about their diagnosis of the machine. They asked my son if he played a lot of games on the machine, the noticed many had been downloaded. He sort of looked down and said yes. They said that is the issue, a laptop is not really made for the heavy duty gaming that teenagers do these days. I asked them if it could be upgraded, since he was going to playing games on it. They said no, but they build machines that are appropriate. Meanwhile, there was NO CHARGE for the service. I was shocked. They must have spent a couple of hours with the machine. Once again, I was extremely pleased with their service and professionalism.
Description of Work: My son and I brought his laptop computer to Chicago Gadgets due to a problem with overheating. The machine would suddenly turn itself off. I had previously been to Chicago Gadgets a couple years earlier, to fix my son's wii. As I recall, they did a great job a reasonable price in just a couple of days. We brought the machine in on Saturday afternoon. We gave them the symptoms, they said they would look at it and let us that day or by Monday.
