He did excellent work. He has come several times. For the original job he did the plumbing for the whole bathroom, he was significantly lower than anyone else. After that, we decided that we should keep using him.

We are thrilled with the quality of workmanship, and the price that Charlie gave us! Because of some other projects that he needed to finish, work started slightly later than we were expecting, but he worked efficiently and in a well-organized fashion. He was able to get everything done in the actual bathroom space within a few days, so that we could begin drywall. At that point, he worked on digging out the crawlspace and installing the drains, which was a great way to organize his work, so that we could proceed with ours. We happened upon an old, unused and previously undiscovered water supply line, and he suggested that we use it to reconnect to our outside spigot, which I thought was a pretty ingenious solution. We are having him back to do a few more things for us, and are happy to have found a plumber whose work we like, and who is honest and fairly priced.

Excellent service - Charlie was responsive regarding the quote and the service. I was notified of any potential delays and Charlie provided me with multiple options every step of the way. Service was provided in a careful manner to ensure all of my property was protected (floors, walls, etc.) and following installation of the new water heater all of the mess was cleaned up. I am very happy with the overall service and after obtaining multiple quotes I believe that the service I received from Charlie was not only reasonably priced, but was very high quality. I would take into consideration Charlie's competence along with the price when evaluating any cost estimate from him. I think he's your man if you need something difficult done - he's more than willing to make the square peg fit into the round hole.

We has a pipe burst on a Saturday morning in the garden apt. of our flat; had to shut the water off to the whole building. Charlie was out 3 hours later. Great response! Most companies I called either didn't answer their phone on that Saturday or said they couldn't get to it until Monday. Charlie had me turn the water back on for less than 10 seconds so he could hear where the break was. He cut a hole in the drywall right where the break was, fixed the pipe and gave me some great recommendations so the pipe would not freeze again. Really nice guy who does a great job! He assured me that I could call 24/7 if I needed plumbing services in the future.

We called several plumbers and Charlie was the first one we spoke to directly. Fortunately he lived nearby and arrived fairly quickly. He was friendly and didn't seem to mind at all that we had called so late. The leak was complicated by the fact that all 6 units in our building share the same 2 hot water tanks. When he temporarily stopped the leak he problem solved to preserve hot water in all units on a very cold night (e.g. warm showers in the morning). The next day he figured out how to repair the pipe (encased in brick) with access only through our unit, keeping damage to a minimum. He cleaned up after himself. He was an hour late, but had squeezed us into an already full schedule. He also made a couple of recommendations for the building that would have made this problem a lot easier had they been in place. I will definitely be using him again, possibly for our heating. Another tenant took his card as well.

Charlie was great, brought over his brother to help fix my furnace, and charged me what a single person repair would have been. Was very thorough with his work, was on time, and saw me on short notice.

Charlie was very thorough and patient in his work. He said he would try sanding the sensor in the furnace that he had determined was not functioning properly, before he would replace it. The sanding worked saving the money to replace the sensor. Then he was also able to determine that the thermostat was not working correctly, and he replaced the thermostat. Next he went to the basement and fixed the leak in the bathtub in that bathroom, which was more difficult than anticipated because the both faucets had to be removed and they were very old and hard to remove. Then he went into the furnace room to look at some prior work that had been done and noticed that the toilet in the apartment on the first floor was leaking through the floor, dripping into the basement, and he was willing to go up and re-set that toilet with a new wax ring to stop the leak. After than the lady on the 2nd floor said her toilet was loose, so Charlie went back up to the 2nd floor & re-set that toilet.

Came to my condo unit to provide a quote to re-route the copper drains under a new undermount sink, install a new garbage disposal and dishwasher, and install a faucet. They asked that I arrange to have someone in the building available to turn off the water supply if needed and we set up a day the following week for them to do the work. They never showed up for the appointment and did not return my phone calls. Very unreliable.

Charlie responded quickly to our request for a bid, appearing in person, to inspect the work requested. We were given a verbal estimate on the spot, which was followed by a detailed contract proposal, within two weeks time, once we indicated our interest in working with him. Work commenced within two weeks, after going to contract. Charlie and his crew have a great work ethic and while emergency calls from other clients sometimes kept them from arriving on our job when he was expected, they were able to complete the job with minimal delays. Work days were dictated by the job at hand, and not the hands of the clock. We were never left without running water, throughout the project. Most significantly, Charlie got along well with our rambunctious terrier, who often "supervised" from the basement landing! The crew cleaned up daily, and at completion, Charlie left the worksite cleaner, than he found it.

THEY CAME OUT TO GIVE A QUOTE, AFTER THE QUOTE WAS APPROVED THEY SAID THEY WOULD COME OUT THE NEXT DAY TO DO THE WORK. I MADE CONTACT THE NEXT MORNING, THEY CONFIRMED THAT THEY WOULD CALL ME BACK TO COME OUT AND DO THE WORK THAT DAY. I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THEM. NOT RELIABLE.

THEY TRIED TO SELL ME MORE THAN I NEEDED ON BOTH JOBS.

HE SEEMS VERY TRUSTWORTHY AND FAIR. THEY CLEANED UP VERY WELL. THEY DID A GOOD JOB FROM A TO Z.
