+ -1 moreThe price was good. He could have completed the work better. There were gaps in my cabinets, where you could see from one side to the other. There is still some trimming that needs to be done, that I'm going to have to pay somebody else to do.

+ -1 moreMr McPhearson arrived as arranged, to do the estimate and take measurements. He listened to my plans, and then began working out the details so that we were both clear how this was going to work. Work started a few days later, once the materials were in, and he communicated frequently to arrange access while i was at work. The work was very professional, and pretty fast too. He even arranged cleanup as well, and had all the old drywall and scrap wood bagged up and removed, leaving my house 'broom-clean' with a lovely new staircase. As this is a fixer-upper house, I will likely have more carpentry projects in the future, and I would be very happy to have Mr McPhearson work here again.
Description of Work: Replaced stairs to second floor, the originals were steep, creaky and unsafe.

+ 0 moreCharles McPhearson Carpentry was professional. He did what I asked him to do. He gave me a price. He cleaned up after himself and he got the heck out of my house.
Description of Work: He did some carpentry work for me. He fixed my cabinets for me and rebuilt the bottom cabinet under my sink, that had water damage. He put a piece of drywall under there.

+ -1 moreCharles McPhearson Carpentry was very timely. I really appreciated the service. I felt that his price was reasonable. Our kitchen isle wasn't nailed to the floor. It actually ended up toppled over. I chose him because he's located closest to my home. He came out the very day that I had called him. I really liked that. Now I am able to do things with the isle I hadn't been able to do when it wasn't nailed down. I will be using him again because I have some other odds and ends for a carpenter to do. When he says he's going to be here, he's here, right on time. I really like that. He had to take the time to go to the store and purchase a 2 x 4 and he had other customers waiting. He really fit me in on that day. I loved the customer service and the timeliness.
Description of Work: They fixed the island in my kitchen that had toppled over.

+ 1 moreHe responded quickly. He told me what grade of wood and type of locks to pu rchase. He worked around my schedule and budget as I did not have much emergency funds available.
Description of Work: We were victims of an attempted burglary. The door was kicked in and the wood surround was damaged. He restored the door frame and reinforced area including the locks. A couple of weeks later he installed a security door ahead of the main door. Guide service was prompt as we needed immediate service in the late evening.
