This was actually a referral from my mothers pastor. This company did do a second story addition for my mothers pastors, that they are still pleased with. The problem that I had with this company is that on one of the appointment times that Charles was supposed to meet with us, while we were in contract negotiations, he did not show up for the appointment. He appoligized, but that still sort of shows what type of problems we might experience as the project got started. Anyway, this company was one of our most expensive estimates at $27,695. Also, the companies contract was five pages long. So if you want to use this company, read the contract in its entirety. There were several areas that we were not to crazy about the wording. Ultimately, we did not use the company because of the no show incident, the price, and failure during contract negotiations to get the wording changed. In some cases you just have to trust your judgement. As many times as we have had to have a roof replaced, even with them tearing the roof down to the rafters and starting over, we have never paid more than 15,000 for a roof. So it just did not make sense to me why adding rafters to basically change the slope of the roof would raise the price, by some of the estimates we have gotten, by another 15,000. We ended up using Best Quality Builders in Villa Park that did a great job for 16,000.
