Here is the scoop. Rates go up and down. What you want is someone who doesnt mind you calling all the time to get the latest rate. You want someone is transparent with the cost. My closing cost was $2000. You can do a "no cost" closing, but the rate is higher. You can get a lender with an extremely liberal float policy but it affects the price. Lee Diamond is up front with all of that. He returned my calls. He answered my emails. He gave me good advice. I did a 15 day lock and closed 7 days after I locked. Everything was smooth.
