It went very well, He came in, figured out what needed to to be done and in what order to do it, set out and schedule and was able to put in flooring, sand it and finish it with as little disruption in our lives and house as possible in such a situation. Was helpful and friendly.

Vasile installed a beautiful bamboo floating floor for us last year. His estimate was great, his crew was fast and polite, and the floor was installed well. Vasile is very knowledgable and honest, and gave some great advice throughout the process. For the past year, the floor has been amazing, until 2 gaps appeared in the middle of the floor, likely related to the recent installation of a dishwasher. I called Vasile to get advice on the repair and, as always, he answered his phone immediately. When he came out to take a look, he remembered many details of the job that he had done over a year previously, down to how much extra bamboo we had left. I was anticipating that it may require an expensive fix, but Vasile was able to correct the gaps without a major intervention. When I offered to pay him for his time, he declined all payment! Truly a great customer service experience! I would not hesitate to recommend CV Hardwood flooring to anyone, and will definitely use them again in the future.

Vasile Contra responded back immediately to my request for a quote and scheduled a visit to look at my project. I was impressed right off the bat with the time he took to ask not only questions about what I was looking for, but also to explain the options available to me such as stain colors, type of sealer and options for the door and room transition thresholds. He also had several brochures he walked me through so I could see what he was discussing as far as woods, stains and thresholds were concerned. He also brought several wood samples that he laid down next to the existing flooring to ensure an exact match. At the end of our discussion - which was almost an hour - he had provided me with a quote as well as when he could start and how long he would take to complete the project. I really appreciated this since I was on not only a tight time schedule but redoing floors is a big decision - and not inexpensive one at that - and he provided me with the level of comfort I was seeking in order to have the confidence to move forward with them for this project. I compared his quotes to others and it was in line with others. When I informed him that he won the project, we agreed on a start day and time for which he arrived as scheduled and worked non-stop to get the project done in three days as he stated. He even called a couple times when he had questions as well as some well thought out suggestions - very professional and a testament to the pride he takes in his work as well as ensuring you're happy and having your expectations met. When finished, the floors looked awesome and would definitely use him again as well as recommend him to anyone.

Vasile was exceptionally responsive in the planning and actual implementation of the job. He worked with my schedule and was always timely. The work was done on time with a minimal amount of disruption. The finished work looks wonderful.

Vasile and his team arrived on Thursday (11/10) and had the floors sanded bare by the end of the day. They repaired the damaged boards on Friday and began sealing on Saturday. Monday we were able to come in and see the initial stain and shine. The work is finished today and we are thrilled. Vasile and his team are prompt, clean and polite. The work was performed in a timely manner and Vasile called me with updates as needed. Vasile informed us of potential places were we could choose the replace boards but never pushed (no hard sell here, just informed suggestions). Vasile gave us our choice of thresholds and many choices for stains and sealers. We will definitely use him again when we remodel our 1st floor kitchen and refinish those floors.

We called the office and was told that Vasile would be there the next day for an estimate. He was punctual and polite. He took off his shoes and gave us an estimate of what the cost would be to repair the holes in our hardwood floor (the previous owners had floor vents, then covered them with plywwod and carpeting), as well as refinish the floors in the living room and a bedroom on the first floor (The floors were original to the 1948 home). His crew came out the next week and worked tirelessly all day. They kept us informed each step of the way as to what was going on. There were no suprises, no cut corners, and they cleaned up the place very well when they were done. We will deinitely use them again when we refinish the rest of the house. The floors turned out beautiful!

I did not formally respond to the bid/estimate that I was given for almost a month, but when I did Vasile was very responsive and quick to schedule my job. The work performed was as agreed, and Vasile took some additional time to explain to me how things were going to be done to alleviate some of my major concerns about the job. The floors look great, and he and his crew were very agreeable when faced with having a plumber working in the same space at the same time who was repairing some busted pipes in the unit (which could have done major damage to the floors at that time). Overall these guys were very good and performed on time and within budget which is about the most I can expect from any vendor. Thanks.

Went very well. I could not have asked for more. Came out within two days to give estimate. Called them by phone to let them know I had decided to go with them. They gave me a date for the work to be done. I sent them a copy of the estimate along with down payment. Balance being due on completion of work. The risers apparently had not been included in the estimate leading to the additional expense. Beautiful job. I had not seen these floors in over 40 years. Would use them again, except that I'm now out of floors to be done.

When a person is unable to make a scheduled appointment, it's common courtesy to call and explain. This has never happened to me before.

I contacted CV Hardwood and got two very satisfactory quotes for re-finishing my 2 bedrooms. I split the job up over a three week period. Each job took one day for each room. The 2 man crew was punctual and each job took about 7 - 8 hours. Floor refinishing (sanding) produces a lot of dust. So appropriate plastic shielding was applied to keep much of the dust localized to the areas of sanding. I was asked for my input on the threshold type that I wanted installed and also on some minor floor repair decisions. By the end of each day all was completed. Instructions were given to me for the care of my refinished floors.

I needed to have the floor in my condo refinished due to scratches. Vasile came over to take a look at the floor and recommended a buff and refinish and wrote up a proposal for me. On the day of the appointment to have the floor done they arrived about an hour later than the time that I had scheduled the appointment. They got to work right away, and I was able to leave the payment and have them lock up when they finished the job. The next day I went over to look at the finished floors and they are absolutely beautiful. The scratches are all buffed out and even a discolored area I noticed was nicely buffed out too. I would definitely use them again!!

Vasille did an overall great job on my hardwood floors. He refinished 3 areas of my condo in phases. I was able to trust him with keys to my condo to perform the work while I was out of town. He recommended a few finishes for me and gave me the pluses and minuses of each one. He was very courteous and was great to work with. After the work was done Vasille even offered to take me to the train station on his way out of the city.

Vasile was prompt, professional, polite, and provided a fair price for work to be performed. I give his company another "A" for having someone available to personally answer a telephone call on an inquiry and an "A" for having someone call and say "Thank you" when a Proposal isn't accepted. I rated a "B" for Professionalism because Vasile gave us several, several pamphlets of floor products we could use and would do whatever we, the customers, wanted. I understand why he and others say or do this, but we're not in the floor finishing business and we call him (others) who are professionals in floor finishing to recommend what should be done. For this reason alone, I chose to pass on the opportunity of using C V Flooring for floor finishing. Again, Vasile was prompt, professional, polite, provided a fair price for work to be performed, provides a live person to answer calls, and has a live person call on follow up. I would recommend giving C V Flooring a try.

Overall, the work went well. It took one more day than they had originally estimated but the work was completed in a timely fashion and to our liking. The workers arrived at a reasonable hour and left at a reasonable hour as well. They were also flexible to our scheduling demands.

Vasile and his crew removed the old carpet, sanded, stained and varnished our floors. They were very prompt and courteous. The estimates we received from other companies were comparable, but we picked CV Floors because of the detail they were going to do with the corner-round and stair edging. They also took care and blocked off other parts of the house to eliminate dust accumulation. We are very satisfied and would use this company again.

The day I called for an estimate he came to my condo that day to give me an estimate and was extremely helpful in the entire process. I called and sent photos to Vasile SEVERAL times as I sourced the material to make sure he thought it would look good, as I was trying to match the hardwood in the rest of my condo. In fact the first product I bought when I sent him the photos he called me and told me he didn't think I would like it, since the wood type was different, so I ended up searching more for a match. The day of installation his team left me with a beautiful floor and they absolutely cleaned up everything even vacuuming the carpet in my building hall since they had hauled stuff into my unit.

Vasile was outstanding to work with. He is a real professional, as are his workers. They took great care in sealing up the parts of the house where no floor sanding would be taking place, to protect the house from dust. They even taped over all the door gaps in our kitchen cabinets! All work was started and completed on time and on budget. I would highly recommend CV Hardwood Floors to anyone needing floor refinishing or repair.

Fantastic experience. Vasile came to give an estimate, measured carefully, and gave us a very detailed explanation of a whole variety of options in terms of finishes. He also noticed details that we hadn't thought about, and made suggestions that were very helpful (for example, in terms of vent covers and basebord molding strips). He showed us photos of projects that he had completed, to give us a better idea of how the finished work would look. The man is a true professional, very good to work with, highly communicative, and meticulous! He also was less expensive than some other estimates we received. We are very pleased with the result.

The entire experience was professional, on-time with services provided as promised. They arrived when they said they would, completed the work based on our tight schedule (after our move out and before the next occupant) and did a very professional job. Their pricing seemed fair based on the one other quote we got (they were fairly similar). When we first got the quote, the salesman/ owner spent the time reviewing the different product options and we were able to take time to discuss the details.

Vacile is a true professional. He loves his work and takes pride in delivering a final product that you are proud to show to your family and friends. He arrived on time for his initial appraisal of our home floor needs. His diagnosis of what needed to done to restore the Brazilian Cheery wood in our home was right on. Vacile took the time to provide us many samples of how to best sand, finish and restore our wooden floors to their original lustre. In addition, he provided us with photos of previous jobs he has successfully completed and the types or work his organization is capable of performing. He patiently answered all our questions to ensure no surprises at the completion of their work. His team worked long into several evening to finish the job on the promised date.
