Description of Work: I've worked with them (along with my contractor) on selecting cabinets for my kitchen renovation. It won't be done until October, so it is too early to rate anything in any depth. I do know that they are about 20% less than another place I considered, Brookhaven Cabinets. However, Brookhaven says they provide more finishing coats and other detail. I'm not sure that is the only reason for the price difference, since Builders is locally produced without a middleman and Brookhaven is out of state and works through design firms.

Description of Work: We recently asked Builder's Cabinet Supply to bid on a kitchen redesign project. They were very responsive and had great ideas for what to do with the space. We haven't hired out the job yet, but will likely hire them when the time comes to do the job.

Description of Work: During the course of trying to obtain quotes on possible cabinets for a remodeling project, we were assigned to a sales representaive who was repeatedly untimely, late in starting our numerous scheduled appointments, and who often took personal calls during the course of our appointments. To us, this pattern spoke volumes about how our order would be treated if we were to place it with Builders (i.e., if this is the way you are treated when they are trying to sell you, you will likely be treated worse after you are sold). Accordingly, we proceeded elsewhere for our cabinets.

Description of Work: Upon recommendation of my contractor, I purchased cabinets for my galley kitchen that a designer/saleswoman worked out. It seemed fine on paper. However, when the cabinets were installed by my contractor's crew, I discovered that the pantry cabinet on one end of my kitchen did not fit the space. It extends past the wall opening by a whole inch and ruined the whole point of the renovation which was to make the wall openings of the kitchen equal in size. It looks shoddy. I feel that the original designer/saleswoman erred either deliberately or through incompetence. Forget about getting this rectified. Another designer/salesman came over with my contractor and they tried to convince me to just accept the ill-fitting scheme. the salesman said that to install something that fit correctly would create a cascade of problems with the cabinets along the rest of the wall. And, "oh, there are always compromises." I don't accept it, but Builder's Cabinet Supplywas intractable and would not even offer me a discount. I think I should have been told that their standard sizes would not fit my space, so that I could make the call. Had I been told the truth, of course, I would have walked away and there would not have been a $6501 sale. Furthermore, while the cabinets in general present a decent appearance, the finish and colof did not resemble the sample I was given in finish and color. The sample looked and felt better. The cabinets are not deep enough and are COMPLETELY dysfunctional in terms of storing and organizing pots, pans and supplies needed for someone who actually cooks in the kitchen. The insides of the cabinets are junky and, worst of all, the shelves cannot be reconfigured without removing the cabinet doors, which are very difficult to re-align when they are re-attached.Also they gave me a defective cabinet ( the factory worker who drilled holes for the shelving broke through to the outside of the cabinet), probably figuring that it will be covered up once a microwave oven is installed. But I was charged full price for this imperfect merchandise. I do not recommend this company. I deeply regret signing a contract which I did without full knowledge of the product. I made an expensive mistake that also has soured my relationship with my contractor.

Description of Work: Builder's Cabinet Supply gave me a bid for my kitchen cabinet remodel and were also asked to give me a quote for a separate bar/ game room kitchen area. I did not go with their bid because it was a little high for non-wood cabinetry. I received a better quote for wood cabinets.

Description of Work: Outfitted my newly rehabbed house with all new custom kitchen cabinets.
