The job was to install a cast iron hose reel on brick wall. Technician Tony arrived early and had all the necessary tools. He made good suggestions on where to place the unit and mounted it perfectly. Thank you for a job well done.

I've called on Budget Right a number of times over the past few years to do some fix-it jobs around my house ranging from 1 to 8 hours work. I've been consistently pleased with the quality of work and with the speed with which they get it done.

Excellent!!! My first time using this kind of service. Keri was the nicest person to deal with. And did a Fantastic job. Told her everything I wanted in hanging my 6 floating shelves. We talked about spacing the shelves, how high and how to arrange them. She made the job look so easy. And when the job was finished, I was just standing there saying, "Oh my god". Beautiful outcome. She made me a believer out of me to keep Budget Right Handyman in mind. From beginning to end, this was easy, convenient and well worth it. Thank you so much.

From the beginning of the process to the end I was completely satisfied. I received a call immediately after placing an inquiry and was completely satisfied with how my questions were answered. I was quoted the price of the work that needed to be done and also the time frame. When the handyman Tony arrived to my house he explained everything that he would do and also recommended time saving ways to get the job done quicker and more efficiently. Tony was amazing and got the job done quicker than was was quoted/expected. I definitely will be using BRH again in the future if I need any contracted work done!

They were helpful and did the work in the time frame they had scheduled. Their main handyman, Elvis, was helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable.

Hugo was a huge help - we had a lot of little things that needed to get done (replacing fans and outlets, re-hanging a door, etc.) and he was efficient and thorough in all his work. We really appreciated Hugo getting our house move in ready!

The work was completed to our satisfaction. Jesse was professional, knowledgeable of what needed to be done, and adapted to some modifications needed. He was friendly and we felt comfortable having him come into our home. I would have given 5 stars, but the first tech was a "no-show" for the first appointment. BudgetRight quickly rescheduled and gave us an adjustment credit for the mix up.

It was a fairly straightforward repair, but one for I didn't have the tools. Booking was easy, and they arrived on time. The repairman, Chris Skedd, completed the repair in just under an hour, was professional and explained everything that he needed to do after he fully inspected the issue.

Not only was I very satisfied with the work that Jesse from Budget Right Handyman did, I will be contacting this company for any needs I may have in the future! Good quality work, efficient and professional.

We had an extremely negative experience with this company in April 2023. The service technician was 45 minutes late for the initial appointment. He stayed only for 15 minutes, without performing any measurements and without discussing any project details. Two days later, we received an estimate that was 10 times larger than what was initial quoted to us, based on the photos we had submitted. This was not worth a $99 pre-payment for the initial appointment. When I emailed the company rep, Dirk Hoerr, regarding those issues, the conversation quickly deteriorated into personal insults, including that as a woman, I was "ridiculous," that I should just talk to my husband first, and, when my husband supported me, Mr. Hoerr emailed that my husband doesn't have "balls." Mr. Hoerr also threatened us with a legal restraining order so that we do not complain anymore. All this in response to a polite email pointing out that the technician was late, did not do measurements, and the estimate was grossly excessive. It is a shame such a business exists in Illinois.

Hugo did a fantastic job. He was prompt, asked the right questions, was very personable and got out cabinets all installed and secured to the floor, secured to eachother and also leveled.
