Budget Right Handyman

Scotty did a wonderful job. He was efficient and friendly. I will absolutely ask them to do help us again. Scotty's previous job ran late - so only reason wasn't punctual - company was flexible and was willing to re-schedule if the work wasn't able to be completed by the time I needed to leave.

Made my appointment for 9am on a Friday. Had to call the office after waiting until 940am with no one there. They advised me they were going to get in touch with the rep. 10 minutes later the rep called and apologize said he was running late and would be here within the hour. No problem until he call about 45 minutes later and cancelled. Said that I would have to call the office to reschedule and that he would comp me an hour for the inconvenience. I called the office and rescheduled for the following Monday same time. Well 9am sharp Monday morning Andrew San Roman showed up ready to work. (He was not the orginal person who was suppose to come out) He quickly found the problem. He did have to go to Home Depot to buy some new outlets but was back in no time and had them in and working. He was a very nice and friendly guy letting my husband know what he was doing. (Hubby was shadowing him to see what was wrong) In the end he only spent an hour and half and yes they did comp me the hour which was already attached to my file. In the end it turned out great.

Despite the cold, Stan did a quick, but thorough professional job in installing a storm door that had been removed previously. The front door was extremely drafty and thus the reinstallation of the storm door was needed. I was very pleased that the company honored their agreement not to charge for an ongoing job, which we agreed was to be completed in spring.

I really like them. They did an excellent job! I will definitely recommend them and absolutely use them, again.

The technicians, Jeremy and Hector, were professional, efficient and friendly. NO major problems. The office was responsive to any concerns that we had and were reasonably prompt in returning calls.

I forgot the man's name but he arrived on time and got right to work. He was honest about not being able to get the slideout drawer in a cabinet because of an issue with the drawer itself. He was overly optimistic on what he could get done in the three hours that he was hired. I had to leave after two hours. I was disappointed to see when I got home that the flag pole was not up and he left a mess of paint and brushes that I had to clean up. No note saying couldn't get it done, had to get to the next job, etc... plus he had my phone number to call me. It would have been professional to let me know. Otherwise the service was good, the paint job looked great.

Not well done- one carpenter did not show up 2 times so I wasted 2 whole days- no one called to notify me of the no shows - 2nd carpenter installed the wrong part so I wasted that day and then a 3rd one came out and that guy did correct the error of the 2nd guy but still left me with the instruction to use glue on loose spindles. Tile guy left job unfinished and now no one will call back.

Leonard Bailey come to the home at the time the project was set by the appointment. he was on time. started and finished the job in the time of one hour. he had a little challenge of being a old house with old wiring but was able to do the work and have the light fixture working. how ever he left 2 drill bits and a small yellow case in the house. if I need more electrical work, I hope to get Leonard Bailey back out to do the work.

Nathan was just a very nice guy. He was very detail oriented, making sure that I have a good placement for the cabinet, made sure it was where I wanted. He was very neat with his work. Careful on making holes on the wall. And they are the only handyman that I use.

We thought for certain we were going to have to replace the old disappearing attic stair system in our home. When the techs looked at the system, they realized they would be able to repair it! They were very nice and answered all of my questions. Once repaired, they had me check the system to make sure it was opening and closing at a tension I could work with--it actually works better now. I felt comfortable with the techs in my home and will be calling again for a couple more projects later on.

This was our second time using BRH. Mario Chavez was tasked to install an interior door in my home. The original door and surrounding woodwork had been removed and modified to allow a larger water heater to be installed. He did an excellent job repairing the woodwork and installing the new door. He was kind and answered my questions patiently. We have more projects to do in the future and will be calling BRH again!

Ok. Couldn’t install thermostat, will send an electrician. Dry wall, window could not be done in contract time.

Ray, the repair guy was efficient, friendly and polite. We have used handyman in the past. We are seniors who are unable to do the repairs ourselves anymore.

It didn't go well at all. The contractor couldn't get here on time so I had to cancel.

Everything went well. Mario Chavez explained and showed me what he had done to fix our problem. He assessed the problem with the toilet and why it had been leaking. He was able to replace the rotten wood, put a new flange, and seal on the toilet, and placed the toilet on a stable floor. He even put two missing screws in our storm door as he was about to leave. The side porch will be repaired next week, and I have already asked that the company sends Mario back. Mario is professional and did not leave a mess for us to have to clean up. My husband and I are delighted. I wish I had called Budget Right Handyman months ago. I am so happy.

We had just moved into a new home and some of the furniture he purchased needed to be assembled. The workman came out and was awesome. He worked hard for four hours in some pretty intense heat and never complained. It was a very good experience.

MARIO arrived early. Did an excellent job! I am extremely satisfied!

This is our second project with Budget right and once again they did an awesome job. Both techs (Marco & Manny) were pleasant, professional, flexible and the work they completed was impeccable. I have another project coming up and some odds and ends and will be using them again in the near future. I love the website, so easy to book your appointments. They have called me both times to get a better understanding of what we needed. Just all around, a great company with very skilled employees and at a reasonable price.

We had a terrific experience with Budget Right Handyman, and our technician, Manuel (Manny). The process was very clear and professionally handled. We had one large and several small projects, and the projects were all completed on time, within budget and to our satisfaction, including a board & batten feature wall. I will use Budget Right Handyman again, and have already recommended them to friends & neighbors.

Michael came out and did a great job fixing the problem and even had to go to the hardware store to pick up extra supplies.

Mike did it all. It was great. We are no longer losing heat to our garage, my daughter can put her towels up and close her closet and the utility center is wonderful.

The first attempt resulted in the contractors shattering the door into a million pieces destroying the stationary glass door. They charged me $260 for putting up the shower rod improperly, although at the time i did not realize this. The installers- Mario and another person- blamed the glass door being that they shattered on improper tempered. I believed this because I have no knowledge of tempering. I was originally charged an addition $130 for 1 hour of clean-up in addition to $260 labor for just the rod installation. During clean-up they lost several small pieces used in the assembly of the shower door. The $130 was later refunded but with great effort on my part. The 2nd attempt to install the door resulted in the entire door assembly sliding back upon itself and the glass and hardware not aligning correctly due to a large bowing of the rod. The installers blamed the shower rod being unable to support the weight of the sliding glass door as reason for the bending/bowing. 2 hours x 2 people = 4 more hours worth of work for a total of 8 hours and the door was still not completely installed. The contractors told me to call the manufacturer to ask for a replacement part. They charged me an additional $260 for a grand total of $520 for a door that was not properly or completely installed. The manufacturer indicated that not only was the hardware not the problem but it was obvious the installers failed to follow directions and the whole assembly would require being taken down and reinstalled (i.e. redrilling holes in the tile that would be visible). Now I can't replace the tile as it's no longer available in the store where I bought it. So the entire bathroom shower area must be re-tiled. $1000's of dollars worth of damage from a door install. They also stole/lost my tools and destroyed my wife's towel in the process so that is just adding insult to injury.

This was one of the best experiences I've had with a service. Andrew arrived on time, was courteous and very professional and got the job done under the estimated time frame. The experience with sales and project management was also great. I had prompt responses and simple answers to my questions with no BS or hard sell. Good job folks!

Still waiting for a date for services to be performed, despite multiple emails and calls.

Scotty arrived on time and did the work well and he did it quickly. We were told it would take all day and he finished in 1/2 the time. I feel like I live in a new house and it's great. Would definitely use again.
