I never worry when Mannie is on the job. I was not able to be there but my husband was at home. He told me that having Mannie there and watching him, he knows that Mannie has a great deal of pride in his work. He is very efficient and walked my husband through each project, going back over everything to make sure everything was functioning as it should. Mannie is awesome and is always up for the challenge. I truly appreciate him!

They never called me. I had to call 3 people before anybody responded. Not I'm impressed. The one that finally called.. I called direct.

Fantastic Jared was here on 2 different occasions for various jobs. He is smart, courteous, efficient, knowledgeable--simply put, a real gentleman in all respects. We would and will hire and request him again in a heartbeat! His services were worth every penny.

DOn't return calls, texts or emails as advertised. WOn't even cancel my appt. I will have to dispute with my CC company now! ABSURD> I was rold I was one of 100's of customers. Way to make someone feel special!!! DO NOT USE. RUDE!

Jarred was here promptly on time and did a fantastic job- we had a previous experience with another company that was trying to run the clock up vs getting the job done. He made sure he did it correctly but quickly. He even came back to help with the dimmers and ran to the store to get a correct part to replace the wrong one I had purchased. I highly recommend this company and Jarred. We will be using them again!

We were able to pull the door and make the necessary repairs in a couple hours.

I was able to book them within about 7 - 10 days from my initial call to do a drywall replacement and large painting job of our kitchen and family room (ceiling and walls). They also did a little electrical work adding a new outlet I had wanted for years. They showed up on time both days and were very diligent in completing their work and asked questions and pointed things out to make sure I received what was requested. Jarred and Elvis were awesome to work with and did great work. There price was very comparable to others I quoted and cheaper than a few. Would definitely hire again.

James did a great job installing two ceiling fans and updating a garage security light. We attempted to add some wall racks, but weren't able to identify wall studs due to the age of the house and house updates. Everything was organized and cleaned up after completion. Appreciated the job done. Would recommend to others.

John Dieckman was prompt, professional and finished tasks quickly. Everything was done to my satisfaction and I will be requesting him for additional work that I need done.

Manny came in and fixed the misalignment quite well.

plumber from Angieslist came to my house. But the plumber stated I need a gasket for the tub which was leaking. He suggest to get a handyman. I call Budget and told them what need to be done. They said "ok, we will come out and fix it." But when they came, I told him what was wrong. Budget stated he found the problem , that something was loose. He stated he fix it. He left. I called back to let him know it was still leaking , 10 minutes after he left. I called again and talk to the manager today. The manager stated they told me that it need a gasket and they could not fix. But I know that it was the gasket but was never told he could not fix it. . I call them in the beginning and told them what need to be done. They stated they can come back and but I need to sign a waiver. They have a guarantee, if some was right they will come and fix. But threaten to put a lien on my house. All I want is for them to come back and I want my money. They did not tell me they could not fix it.

It went great. It was fixed last year but water got into it so it wasn't working. Manny came out and replaced the outlet and he also put some water resistance caulking all around it. Glad he went that extra step to make sure the outlet was sealed properly.

He was to high and couldn't get to me for several weeks.

Jarred and Nate did a great job, got done in less time than expected and under budget. They were friendly and responsive, sent pictures to check and make sure I was ok with how they were planning to install everything, and even swept up and packed the trash up and took it with them. Definitely would hire BRH again, great service and great price.

very responsive , but the estimate for what we needed was not affordable. I would not seek their services only because I know that I cannot afford them.

Nick was very helpful when making the appointment. We were quite happy to have serviced arranged for the very next day. Stan West, our technician, arrived promptly, was very professional and finished the job well beyond our satisfaction!

When the service provider came out it seemed like he was inexperienced. The trim was broken, cracked and uneven after the install and have to be replaced, door was not hung correctly. There are big gaps by the hinges. He was unprepared. He had to leave to keep getting parts. He did not have the right equipment to complete the job. On the phone they said they would take the old doors and they didn't. They left all the scraps and trash upon completion.

Oh Wow! This guy is really great! Mr. John Dieckman came to the rescue! Nothing is worse than having to go through a 60 year old garage and discard items you no longer recognize! John was punctual, cheerful, thorough and knowledgeable. Once emptied, he hosed down the garage floor and scrubbed the large area rug. He also removed 2 rose bushes and carried some heavy golf clubs, etc. down to the basement. He spent time repairing the short, wrought iron gate around the flowers. He sorted through some heavy stone pieces and put the best ones in storage for possible later use. He carried the others out for disposal. John is multi talented and knows a lot about bushes and shrubs. He also knows how to fix things. He worked cheerfully and seemed to enjoy his tasks. He worked straight through and took no breaks. We were so lucky to have him!!

Well. Repairman (Vince) was prompt and knowledgeable.

Wonderful !!! Manny was very helpful and was able to troubleshoot a wiring problem, and propose a good solution . He purchased a new wireless switch to resolve the issue.

Our back gate had been sticking pretty badly after it appears someone backed into it with their car. Art Cardona fixed the gate and in a sturdy way that will prevent it from being so easily bent in the future. Art also quickly repaired our front gate so that it latches more easily. I wish we would have called Budget Right to fix these things months ago!

- BRH (Budget Right Handyman) sent us an estimate range for the job of $750-1000. They ended up with a bill for $2400 for the job. - BRH contacted me, once the job was started, to tell me they're now charging $10 more per hour than was stated on the estimate. - They delayed to start because they said they needed someone on site to sign. They had never told us this. We had agreed to the start via email, but they said this was their policy, again unknown to us. - They took a long time to get started on the job because they did not tell us that they needed access to a faucet and an electrical outlet. They blamed this on us, though we gave them access to the building with a passcode. They blamed this mistake on us for not knowing what is needed to lay tile. I politely explained to them that customers don't always know what utilities are needed for a job. - They billed us for purchase and rental of basic tools that the contractor lacked for the job, as well as billing for time to go make those rentals. - They were to pick up tiles and other materials we paid for at Tile Outlet. Contractor billed us for materials that we paid Tile Outlet for. Contractor claimed that they never received the materials from Tile Outlet, so they billed us for those materials, plus they billed us for labor for the time to go get those materials. I obtained a receipt signed by the contractor, that documented that they'd received all the materials. Only after being faced with that receipt did BRH agree to subtract the cost of materials they'd charged. No explanation or apology was given for whatever happened to the materials they said never existed. - Contractor blamed slow start for lack of parking availability on Milwaukee avenue, then billed us for parking. There is a parking space in the back we could have given them if they'd have asked. On the last day they did use the parking space, but only after the contractor spent the first day walking back and forth around the block, instead of going through the building they had access to. - They wanted payment of $1100 after the first day, in full. I thought this was odd, and was upset that they'd exceeded the upper end of the estimate. I figured however, that this must mean they are close to being done. After writing and leaving the check, BRH took it the next day. Then they informed me that they could not accept the check and that they would, per my initial request, give me a bill at the end. I thought they would give me the check back for me to void it. But contrary to what they told me, they later cashed it, which surprised and confused me. I was sent a pdf to sign for the remainder of the cost of the job. Then I was sent another and several duplicates. It was the most confusing billing process I have ever encountered, and after all I had been just told than I'd get just one bill at the end. - BRH says I consented for the new scope of the cost of the work. In fact I never received any new quote for a 80 sq ft tile job that now suddenly became extremely complicated. I think I would have remembered getting a quote for a bill that was suddenly over 100% greater than the highest end of the original estimate. - The quality of the work is okay. They were a bit sloppy, staining the adjacent red brick with the gray cement. prompting one resident to ask if I had "done it myself". Contractor did not ask if we wanted the tiles staggered or straight, which bothered me at first, but had we chosen staggered, it probably would have taken another couple of days to cut the tiles, and made the bill even more egregious, so I guess we're ahead. - When I informed them that we were going to have Angie's List mediate, they were hostile to the idea, claiming "Angie's List has no jurisdiction here" - I have another condo board member who would like to go also through the BBB - This whole episode has caused me a great amount of stress and has cost me countess wasted hours after the job was finished. This is the worst experience with a contractor I have ever had.

Luis Martinez did an excellent job on our drywall repair project. He covered drywall holes resulting from a previous plumbing re-piping. He also repainted the area. When finished, it looks like he was never there! Punctual, professional, efficient and definitely skilled in what I think is an art. I highly recommend.
