Budget Right Handyman

Kevin came out very punctually, looked over the projects, and let me know what could and couldn't get done. He did all the things that could get done, got them completed successfully, and then went through what I needed to do to prepare for the other projects, since there were elements that I hadn't been aware of. He was very clear, and gave really good advice about how to proceed, in addition to doing a great job on the projects he completed. I was very happy with the service and I will be using them again to complete the rest of the projects.

Everything went great! Our repairman was on time, fixed the extensive crack, cleaned up and went on his way. No muss, no fuss. Would definitely use them again for any home repairs, they offer great service at a good price.

Jarred is awesome - so much so, I requested him a second time. He's extremely efficient, prompt, neat and thorough. Plus, he's professional yet a super-nice guy. Trustworthy and competent, offering what I felt were comfortable, makes-sense (financially and efficient) resolutions to all of my issues. I will be calling him back for sure. Thanks Jarred!

I needed to replace my over-the counter microwave oven, and Budget Right Handymen were very quick in responding, providing me with a satisfactory time frame for the project and an estimate. Two days later, Luis came to do the work. He was punctual, courteous, understood immediately what needs to be done, and was able to finish the work in less than 2 hours..He left a little bit of mess outside where he moved objects to get to the vent, but in his defense, it was already dark and probably he could not see much. I am happy with the installation, and would hire Luis again. Thank you!

The worker arrive shortly before assign time and was pleasant. He listened to our needs and inspected the door. After evaluating, he purchased the necessary replacement parts (actually two trips to the store). He was professional and did a good job.

Jarred Gilliam was on time, worked quickly and under budget...even needing to run to Home Depot for a part.

Luis Patlan came to my home to help with the projects I needed done. He was punctual and gave a fair price, less than several other providers. Work was done quickly and to my satisfaction. I will use again.

Excellent. Tech did a great job on both projects...shelving and concrete. He was friendly, fast, neat, and professional. My only issue is being charged by time rather than by job. Billed for time when tech went to get materials. I purchased some items in advance, but if I had been advised as to everything that was needed, I would have purchased it all and avoided paying for shopping time.

WONDERFUL! Jr. was very professional, cleaned-up after he was done, took all of the burnt our bulbs to the dumpster. He was also very friendly and helpful. He fixed our front door which was not part of our original request. He even called because he was done earlier than expected with his previous jobs and was able to come earlier than expected. We will definitely use Budget Right Handyman again.

Jatoone was on-time, professional and very knowledgeable. New microwave didn’t fit exactly as the old, but he was able to quickly troubleshoot and installed in no time. He was an all-around good guy.

Prices extremely high for work requested

The gentleman that came out the first time was extremely polite , nice and very patient. Seemed to do a good job, tho there was one he could not do. I called BRH to advise and Brad in customer service ended up sending out another person to finish this project. I thought that was great customer service. Well, it turned out 2 of the original projects started having problems, so I contacted BRH again and Brand again sent another person out to finish /fix the projects. I understand that some people have better skills than others ( I have none) and am appreciative that the response in getting the job done right is prompt and important to them.

Buyer Beware! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! This company is horrible - all they care about is getting paid and then overcharging. I hired them to do some electrical work - install a ceiling fan. The installer took about 3 hrs to complete the job which should only take about 2 hrs max! Ontop of that the ceiling fan started to smoke when I turned it on! It took the installer another hour to correct the issue. Now as far as payment is concerned - the company had my credit card on file and I left for a few weeks for vacation and upon my return this company but a lien on my house for non-payment and then tripled the price to about $600 and refused to remove the lien until I paid $600. They sent NO notices and jumped to putting a lien without following the law correctly. They are trying to extort money out of me which is completely an unethical business practice and they refused to cooperate. I tried on several occasions to pay the amount owed but they refused. I am not going to be bullied by this company and they are going to be sued for unethical business practices, fraud, extortion, and bad faith.

Mario was our serviceman, and he did a superb job. Granted, the jobs were not too complicated, but these are the kinds of jobs we never have time to do ourselves, or to do as well as a professional can do. We purchased a two-hour deal, and when Mario spent only one hour completing his work, the Budget Right Handyman took it upon themselves to carry over the extra hour for another time and only charged us for the first hour (we did not request it). These are the kinds of reasons why we have gone to this provider repeatedly for things like repairing ceiling fans and tile floors, installing a kitchen floor, and various and sundry odd jobs over several years. As you can see from this particular job, no job is too small - the response time, the work, the follow up - everything is done well.

Pipes freeze during winter. Elvis Seric was the tech and he assessed the issue, made a quick analysis, came up with a solution, went and purchased supplies and resolved the issues all within approx 2 hours! Very happy customer!

Elvis Serbic was a very good installer. The door looks great. He installed, chiseled new strike plates, fillled old strike plates, painted inside and out. He also did some side jobs perfectly. However, it was not easy quoting or scheduling with the office and I had had to call back several times as they didn’t respond. For that, I would not use them. I would use Elvis very time! Also, if you ask for side jobs, be prepared to pay for a whole day. They call it “fixed bid”. It is not $77.00 by the hour, it is all day.
