I've hired Budget Right for a number of jobs. They are easy to work with and communicative leading up to and during the project. This was no different - Andrew was great. He showed up on time, diagnosed the issues and quickly addressed them.

Andrew arrived promptly. I had 7 tasks on my list. He was able to complete 5., 3 indoor and 2 outdoor. It was such a cold day today, but Andrew didn't complain and worked quickly. He was unable to replace two indoor light fixtures because the wiring in the ceiling was old cloth type. We'll have to secure an electrician to rewire and mount the new fixtures. This is the second time I've used Bduget Right. Their technicians have all ways been professional and do the job right.

Jarred from Budget Right did a great job installing my over range microwave. He was there on time and completed the installation in less than i hour.

Budget Right is my go to company for small projects. They sent Stan West out to recaulk my tub. He scraped everything clean (it was a real mess!) and recaulked it so that it looks great and is nicely sealed.

Handyman was prompt, did the installation of the doorbell quickly and well. Would definitely hire again for other work.

It went well. It took longer than expected to finish door but I am glad I did it. It looks great. And I was fortunate to have someone remove my air conditioner too.

I am so thrilled with Nick and the team at Budget Handyman. My main entrance to my home door frame cracked during this recent winter severe cold and snow weather. The Budget Handyman team got back to me promptly when I submitted an Angie's list chat inquiry; I sent photos of the broken door frame and they determined that Nick was best person for this job based on his skills and experience. Despite a heavy overnight snowstorm, Nick showed up on time to my home on time and set right to work fixing the problem. He checked with my husband and I to get feedback on how to proceed with a couple of decision choices and fixed the issue for us; he cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. I would definitely recommend to anyone and will use Nick and the Budget Handyman team again in the future.

Fantastic. Handyman Andy was professional, efficient, and gave great advice on one project that was not doable the way we thought it should be -- his advice was spot-on. He even did one quick exterior job despite temperature being -9 degrees! Will definitely use again.

7 HOURS to install 3 PREHUNG interior DOORS & all the lumber, piled up and left in my home: Total Bill 539$/ cost to fix botched job will be: $900. The 7 hours does not account for the time it took for handyman to redo the closet door. He had to take down all trim, take out door, and start over. The first time he put up the door and trim, I was able to put my index finger between the door and the door frame with the door closed. The horizontal and vertical pieces of trim did not form right angles, and were not meeting. It looked like a fun house type door. I should have taken a picture but did not want to embarrass him, since he agreed to redo the door on his own time. However, the second attempt does not pass muster, with uneven shims and uneven trim. When I set the appointment, the estimator on the phone, agreed that the old doors and trims would be removed from my property at the end of the job. When the handyman arrived, I showed him the existing doors and then I showed him the new doors, which included three interior doors, a double and a single bifold door. He then took out the estimate and told me that I needed to sign it. I looked it over and saw that the number 8 (for eight hours of work) had been crossed out and there was a 12 written next to it. The handyman did not tell me that he added four hours to the estimate which he was asking me to sign. The estimator on the phone had suggested all of the doors could be installed within seven hours or less, barring any issues. The workmen told me that it would take an additional four hours to install the hardware for the bifold doors. He also told me that no one communicated to him that he would need to remove the old doors. He said they would not fit in his car. I called the company and spoke with Brad, the manager over the project. He informed me that unless I agreed to pay another $77 for an additional hour of labor, he would tell his handyman to leave my property immediately. When asked why he would not keep the word of the estimator, Brad said that the company would not understand him giving me the 10% first-time customer discount in addition to a free hour of labor. I suggested in exchange for removal of the doors, that Brad not discount the job by 10% and they also not charge me the additional hour of labor. Brad said that he would check on it and call me right back. Brad never called me back about this. When I tried calling the company back, I kept going to voicemail. The handyman admitted that not answering the phone is a tactic that the company uses. During my phone call with Brad, I mentioned that I had had issues in the past contractors buying items for my job, and then attempting to take the items home with them. Brad responded, “We are not going to deal with this. We can have our employee leave your property immediately.” I questioned, are you eager to have your man leave my property? To which I received no answer. I asked the question again. I was met with the sound of dial tone. Brad called back about four minutes later and said that his computer had malfunctioned. At the end of the day, the handyman told me that the company wanted to give me an extra hour of labor for my troubles, but that I would have to sign a form. The form was a nondisclosure agreement barring me from communicating about my experience on the Internet. I told him that I would not accept the hour in exchange for my silence about my experience. This company charges customers for the handyman to go out to the store during the job. He attempted to patch gaps, and splits in the wood with the wood putty that I had to go out and buy for him. He also mentioned that he would need shims from the store. Before I left for the store, and he was standing in front of his bag of shims, I asked, “How many shims you have?” He looked into his full bag and said that he had plenty. I have never heard of a plumber not bringing putty or tape, not sure how it could be fathomable for someone using a hammer and nails to put up doors, not to come prepared with shims and wood putty. We need a competent person, or a refund, would prefer a refund and will go with a company I trust. A company I trust is charging $900 to take it down and do it right. Would have been $200 per door if I went with them in the first place. Will have to repurchase solid oak trim. I had a company owner whose company does handywork, come out and evaluate Budget Handyman's work. He said the door install was ruined and need to be redone. will have to purchase new trim again. -Doors are shimmed unevenly. -Closet door: Upper right side of the hinged corner of door is up against the frame. From 10 to 25 inches down from the top of the door (which is butted up against the frame), there is a 5 mm gap between the side of the door and the frame. The spacing around the door is not consistent. The wood of the trim bows in and out, it is not evenly placed. The trim is placed unevenly on top of the frame, sometimes you see the frame beside the trim, up until the first hinge, and in the frame disappears until around the second hinge. -Picture shows uneven and jagged cuts into the trim. Should not have cut into trim. -The bathroom door, also hung crooked and uneven, no longer lines up with the threshold. -There is now an inconsistent gap between the threshold and the bottom of the door. -The horizontal and vertical trim boards are not flush. The cuts are rough and uneven. The corners do not meet evenly and have noticeable gaps. - There are also gaps of uneven distance between the trim and the door frame. Gaps between trim and frame shown in photo. It took three hours to install the first door. He cracked the trim and also put a gash in it -Trim bows in an out on frame, not even. -The way the bathroom door was mounted, it no longer lines up with threshold.

I recently purchased and moved into a new home and as a first-time home owner, I have had Jarred out to the house multiple times. He is my favorite. He is prompt, efficient, professional and has great customer service skills. I doubt there's much he can't do - I've had him assist me with a myriad of repairs, assemblies and other misc. items. He even gave me a great idea for my kitchen backsplash! Additionally, I had Andy out here and he was very good as well. The office folks responsible for scheduling of appointments make that an easy process as well. Great company overall and I felt their prices are reasonable! Luis Was great! He was very versatile in his skill set and nothing phased him. He work 5 hours straight and never lost his good humor or responsiveness to our questions. This was my first time using this company or any company like it, and I was very happy with the attentiveness not only to the technician they sent but the admin person, Jerome, as well.

Luis Martinez performed the work in an expeditious and highly professional manner. He came in under budget and I was charged the lower amount. His cleanup was thorough.

This is the second time I have called them... Both times Manny Sanchez worked on my projects and both times have been completely happy with the service. I plan to contact them again for a much larger job in the spring.

Jared was super fast and very thorough. The ceiling fan works great and does not rock even though it was installed at the peak of the roof! The porch light timer was installed in seconds and works just fine. Really pleased with Jared and Budget Right Handyman!!

Victor came on time (a little early) and installed everything quickly with no problems. He answered all my questions. Overall a good experience.

We had a great scheduling and project experience. Our handyman, Enrique, was right on time and did a very thorough job. He was attentive, polite and very professional. We needed a few quick-fixes throughout the house, and he did a wonderful job. We would definitely contract with this company, and request Enrique again.
