Michael Garcia was my handy man. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He explained the work he was doing as he was doing it. I would work with him again!

We had an extremely negative experience with this company in April 2023. The service technician was 45 minutes late for the initial appointment. He stayed only for 15 minutes, without performing any measurements and without discussing any project details. Two days later, we received an estimate that was 10 times larger than what was initial quoted to us, based on the photos we had submitted. This was not worth a $99 pre-payment for the initial appointment. When I emailed the company rep, Dirk Hoerr, regarding those issues, the conversation quickly deteriorated into personal insults, including that as a woman, I was "ridiculous," that I should just talk to my husband first, and, when my husband supported me, Mr. Hoerr emailed that my husband doesn't have "balls." Mr. Hoerr also threatened us with a legal restraining order so that we do not complain anymore. All this in response to a polite email pointing out that the technician was late, did not do measurements, and the estimate was grossly excessive. It is a shame such a business exists in Illinois.

Hugo did a fantastic job. He was prompt, asked the right questions, was very personable and got out cabinets all installed and secured to the floor, secured to eachother and also leveled.

Keri did a great job! Would hire again!

We’ve used Budget Right for a few projects, and will continue to do so in the future. They’re transparent on pricing and clear on what to expect. Keri did an awesome job on our last request, and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

Nate did an excellent job. The project took a couple hours longer than he planned initially, but that was because of some difficulties getting the new vanity to line up right. We purchased the vanity at Home Depot and chose BRH from a list of providers they recommended. We couldn't be happier with our new vanity and the service Nate provided. Nate even deducted $50 from the price because of the extra time it took.

Great experience! Jesse Morris was our service tech and he was a pleasure to work with. He arrived on time, provided quality work, and finished in a timely manner. We will use budget right handyman in the future and hope to work with Jesse again.

Keri Basourakos was great! They arrived early and made the necessary adjustments to my shower rod to ensure it fit properly in place. Keri also installed three back porch blinds taking about 15 minutes for each. All three tasks were done in under 2.5 hours. Will definitely reach out to Budget Right Handyman for my future projects. I have used this company for several years and was very pleased with the work that Jesse Morris did at my home recently. Jesse was well prepared, took a look at the problems and managed to repair the two items on my list within an hour, which included a trip to the Home Depot near me. Jesse was very friendly and very kind, especially with my 2 doggies. He is extremely competent and didn't waste any time making the repairs. I highly recommend Budget Right Handyman, and Jesse in particular.

it went great he replaced the boards and he put some ladders around for me and he's the one who fixed my vent so the mice don't get in. he really did a good job so i don't have to worry at all and i was very pleased and he knew that i don't like the mice and he resolved it. his name is manny.

They could not complete the work as requested. He was not a certified technician and could not perform the work. He charged me $79 and he also asked for additional payment. I could have used the money to hired a certified electrician. If you require electrical work performed call somebody else for electrical needs don't hire electricians from this company.

My old kitchen faucet was leaking and bought replacement faucet at a big box hardware awhile back and looking for a pro to install. Made arrangements with another company that offered coupon via Angi but was not provided up front pricing on the install, just the cost of visit. When the pro arrived, they sized me up and asked $500 for the install after getting the foot in the door. I declined and he contacted his dispatcher and lowered the amount somewhat but I still declined and indicated I'll just pay for the visit. The pro knew I wasn't down with their pricing game and was straight up and waived the fee for visit. Then made arrangement with a different big box hardware that offers installation with independent contractors with up front pricing and purchased a better kitchen faucet. Was supposed to get a call from the contractor shortly prior to appointment but never got a call nor did they respond to email and my call to them. Once the contractor was revealed to me after scheduling the installation, I did an online search and the review suggested this pro was known for not following up on calls or appointments. After the scheduled date and time passed and a no show, I rescheduled for another installer with the big box but then contacted BRH just in case. They offered to do the job for half the cost of the big box contractor and I scheduled the install with BRH, then cancelled with the big box. Keri from BRH showed up promptly at the scheduled time and was in and out in less than an hour. My new kitchen faucet runs fine and no more leak.

The man who installed the door was on time, had the tools he needed, installed the door efficiently. The door looks great, the dogs love it. He cleaned up after himself. The Handyman from Budget Right is the best!

My job was a little complicated because we needed the old sink/towel bars removed before the wall paper guy came and then needed the new stuff re-installed with the new stuff. Edgar and the woman who accompanied him were wonderful, they were quick and so attentive to detail. I love the new bathroom!
