Budget Right Handyman

Went great. Manny did a great job. He picked cane to check out what needed to be done, went to pick up the door from retailer, then came back and installed. It took longer than anticipated but he explained why and the finished job lols great.

I can not believe how a company stays in business that “Charges” you $85.00 to come to your house in order to see the project you want done so they can bid on it correctly. Nope! This lazy *** wanted me explain what I wanted over the phone and send some pictures if possible because he “normally doesn’t leave his office to do estimates”.

Excellent - it would have taken me till November to put this thing together. the job was done in abort 5 hours and it looks great.

A lot of people on here strung us along then said no to the project at the last minute. Luckily for us, the fellas at Budget Right Handyman came through for us. Chris our tech was awesome. He was early, polite and accommodating. A job people kept rejecting because supposedly it wasn't in their wheelhouse was completed in 2 hours. And we didn't get over charged like those other companies were planning on doing. Will definitely call on them again!

jon andrew showed up on time, worked efficiently and cleaned up afterwards. i would request him again next time I need similar work. great job in 3-1/2 hours which would have taken me 2 days and ended much worse off.

Chris Finnigan was the technician and he did a great job. He switched out the lights and also took the time to make sure I knew how the new ones worked, and that they were pointed in the right directions. Budget Right consistently sends good people.

Ryan was sent out and he did a great job installing a pole and light strings over our back patio. He also replaced a non functioning outlet and changed out the transformer in my front landscaping lights. I needed to buy the supplies before hand which can be hard for someone who obviously has no idea what one would need to do these jobs! (Thank you google!) They would do it but I would be paying them per hour to shop for the job and i couldn’t bring myself to pay for that. The cost per hour is a little high ($82) but they monitor and guarantee the work which is a major bonus! I had a coupon special that they emailed to me for 2 hours for $119 which was really nice. This is the third time I have had Ryan out. He could handle anything I threw at him!

the advisor who I talked to was not any help. there were lots of small things to be done. He wanted me to take pictures and send. Not literally possible. Wanted to charge me for an in-home consult. Man they are very shady.

Fine came out and measured area we wanted to fence in. Still waiting for the quote for the labor and materials list. I didn't realize I would have to go and get all the materials myself.

This went great. Scheduling was super-easy, Manny showed up on time and had the expertise to get the job done.

This company send handymen to a site where a job is needed. I have used this company a few times in the past for small jobs. The people who come out are decent. However, the so-called coordinator who we talk to over the phone requires serious job training. The last time, I got a job coordinator to get an estimate but he called me that I was wasting "their" precious time! Totally unprofessional. They really failed me - I will never hire them again!!

Our first try on these projects did NOT go well. The individual sent messed up the fan, did a little work on the ceiling, fixed a mirror and took more than an hour to go to a store 1.5 miles away for one item. The company (finally) responded and sent out Dylan, who did a MUCH better job, repairing the damaged fan. They did not charge me for the repeat visit. He reinstalled the fan and painted the ceiling. But that is all he had time for in two hours. We pre-paid for two hours of service and I strongly discourage anyone from doing so. It would be better to get a quote on the job instead of letting them work hourly, unless you are home to keep a close eye on the work and question everything. The only reason I would consider calling them again is because I have in the past had a good experience with this company, and today's visit helped make up for the disastrous previous one.

Joe Fink arrived on time, and was knowledgeable, pleasant, and professional. Our old garbage disposal was rusty and stuck, but this didn't deter Joe. He worked hard to get the old one out, installed the new one, and it is working just fine.

I called Budget Right to see if they even did this kind of work. They returned my call promptly, I scheduled an appointment, and Kevin arrived promptly to start the job. Our furniture had been sitting out unprotected for 10 years and the results were more than I could have hoped for. I would highly recommend this company.

Joe Fink was prompt, personable and inspired a feeling of confidence from the minute he walked in the door. He was not fazed that the job proved more complicated than expected, and quickly replaced the deteriorated window framing, adjusted the tilt of the support ledge to assure proper drainage and completed the work before the day's temperature began to rise. I will gladly ask Handyman to assign him to additional projects at my home.

John Evans did an outstanding, thorough, clean and timely job. He was very respectful and did not try to sell or upsell anything. He focused on the tasks and kept the hourly rate minimal. As a single woman loving alone I felt totally comfortable with John being in my home. I will hire Budget Right and John again. Thank you Angie's List!

Excellently! Raymond arrived on time and worked quickly to get it all done. I liked Raymond and would be glad to have him back to work on my stuff.

The installer arrived on-time, was friendly and professional. He scoped out the work and bought all the necessary parts, and installed them. The job took a bit longer than expected, but I would recommend Budget Right and use them again.

I was very impressed with their repairman John Evans. John was timely, knowledgeable and was able to complete all the tasks I requested in a manner that was very professional. Further, I hired John Evans for two other jobs to complete a list of house tasks that have been needed for a friend moving into a nursing home. #pleased #usebudgetrighthandyman
