Description of Work: We had the handyman, Matt, install 2 sinks and complete a few other tasks. He was polite and did not seem to mind me observing. He did a good job. We would definitely recommend and use them again in the future.

Description of Work: Fixed door that came off hinges, and attempted to remove small piece of paneling and create smooth drywall surface. Drywall bubbled, and handyman did not show at the next scheduled time to fix it. I hired another handyman to do the job. Nearly 400 dollars for the five minutes it took to fix the door is far too expensive in my opinion. He was at our house for eight hours, and the wall was about 2x4.

Description of Work: I had accumulated 10 years worth of small items of carpentry work. Tim Anderson ran through the list of cabinet door tightening, door strike repairing, doorknob counter-sinking, handrail installation, etc. in no time and professionally.

Description of Work: I live in New Mexico and I set up this job for my elderly mother who lives in Illinois. From the beginning, as requested, Budget Right Handyman called me back to shedule this appointment a month in advance when I would be in Illinois visiting my mother. When they arrived they realized the job was too big for one man and I was going to be leaving town soon, so theyre- scheduled the job for a weekend so that my mom's other kids could be there with her. This in my opinon was well above and beyond expected service. As for the work, they got there on time and got it done! Very timely. My mother is very pleased with the quality of the work. All things considered, this is one of the best contractor/handyman experiences I have ever had and I would gladly call them again if needed.

Description of Work: He tried to repair an area of deteriorating wood around a patio door frame. It took too long to dry so he couldn't finish it. Now, i have to hire someone else to finish it. It was far less than a two-hour job, but needed to be done in two separate visits.

Description of Work: I chose this company because of the good reviews in the Angies list booklet. The company sent a truly awful carpenter. I paid for a two hour period of time and in that time he was only able to hang one picture and install three curtain rods. The picture he hung does not hand flush with the wall and in the process of this job he broke a glass table top. On the three curtain rods that he hung he did not fit the end caps to cover the screws that came with the rods. He attempted to hang more pictures but was unable to figure out the measurements and left me with one hook hanging in the wall and pencil marks on the wall. The man told me that he would replace the glass table top but it took forever. When it came time for him to leave, he asked me for $25 to cover his gas costs. I was so upset that I gave him the money just to get him to leave. When my glass top did not come I finally called the company and they had someone bring out the table top. This person was not interested in any of the shoddy work and left after giving me the glass. By the way, the glass does not match what was on the table before it was broken. This experience was so bad that I don't want anything to do with either the company or Angies List ever again.

Description of Work: Dan came right on time and prepared to do what I had asked (remove awnings). He was very flexible when I changed the plans and got right to work when I gave him my list of things that needed to be fixed. He completed everything on the list and then got busy removing the awnings. I had paid for 2 hours of work through a Big Deal and then was able to use another type of coupon and received another 2 hours of work for $80. Dan was very friendly and a hard worker, and he will be back in 2 weeks to finish up the rest of my projects.

Description of Work: Mark did a great job. Arrived on time and got a lot done. Put in difficult-to-handle screens, cleaned heat pump/AC unit filters (3 units), put kitchen light fixture back together, rehung picture, etc. All well done and done in time alloted. I'm very happy with the work.

Description of Work: I found Budget Right on Angie's List and have used their services for at least 5 different customers - this one was for the air duct that a technician of ours had damaged and it needed to be replaced they did an excellent job. I intend on using them for any damage issues that comes up thru our company from our office. We are pleased.

Description of Work: What a pleasant experience compared to the typical contractor. I had several handy items of repair in my condo including cabinet repair, sliding glass door repair, light fixture repair, reverse dryer door, two dead bolt lodks that were stuck, bathroom fixture install, etc. When I originally contacted the service I got a return call within an hour and an appointment was scheduled within four days. Tim was early, very professional, friendly and informative. All items were completed to my satisfaction.

Description of Work: Tim showed up on time, and boy did he work fast. He fixed my closet, the reason for the need of a handyman. He then noticed I put my doorknob on wrong and fixed that, he changed the light fitures in 2 closets. I had a little something that needed to be corrected, and called Budget Right Handyman and it was taken care of immediately! I would hire them again.

Description of Work: I purchased a two hour Angie's List Handyman Services coupon. We needed them to install two toilets. The day of the work, the Handyman realized it was a two person job and asked if we could reschedule. We rescheduled and they arrived on time, completed the work and even fixed a door and caulked a tub. They were very professional and I would hire them again.

Description of Work: My basement flooded this summer and I contacted Budget Right Handyman to help me put the space back together. Given the amount of work, I arranged for a block of 8 hours with Tim. I was so pleased, I hired Tim for an additional 8 hours to help me with other projects the following month. Over the 16 hours (approximate price of $750 with coupon) Tim worked on multiple projects including: (1) repairing basement walls from flood damage and reattaching all molding in the basement, (2) caulking/tile, (3) replacing broken window, (4) repairing hvac tubing in attic, (5) replacing electrical switches, (6) drywall, (7) repairing wooden furniture, (8) hanging towel bars, etc,. (10) patching stucco on outside of house, (11) repairing a bifold door (12) repairing cabinets/replacing track (13) repairing outdoor faucets, etc...........the list goes on. Tim was more than just professional, he was thoughtful about each repair; he always took the extra step to make sure that the work was done correctly. I am obviously a very satisfied customer as I hired Tim back within a month and have already recommended him to several people.

Description of Work: Tim came to my home and performed many small projects. Tim was very accommodatng and worked quickly. There was only one error made during the task of laying a " molding plank" at the threshold of the bathroom floor -Tim cut a portion of the wood to short but he bought another one from the store and refinished the area appropriately.
