Description of Work: Dirk was prompt and courteous. There was no additional planning that he could provide in addition to what we already had. He suggested that I ask for a refund.

Description of Work: Not very well. I purchased the 2-hour handyman service for my tenant. The scheduling person, Tim, contacted the tenant to schedule a time. The tenant said she only sent 4 items to be completed and it would not take longer than 2 hours. Tim and the person assigned to the project said it would take 4 hours. If it was the 4 items she let me know about, it definitely would not have taken 4 hours to do. I was not there for their communication but Tim asked that I get a refund because she could not work with the tenant.

Description of Work: Repaired a wall with drywall and hung some drywall.

Description of Work: Aaron came and fixed outside hose bib, installed outdoor light, and fixed gate. All was done great!

Description of Work: Found the service online, bought the coupon, called the company (they were very nice and answered right away) but they were unavailable for several weeks. So, next time I book, then buy the coupon!

Description of Work: Rain, shine , sleet or snow. I love this guy. Aaron came to my house this morning and started promptly at 8 a.m.. As a Navy veteran of 15 years I can appreciate professionalism and I got all that I could ever want from Aaron. Professional and personable, Aaron started right away on my security doors in IN SPITE OF THE RAIN. I would and will recommend Budget Rite Handyman to anyone who needs work. Description of Work: I used them before for handyman work. I called them just to find out if they did plumbing work too. Unfortunately he lost his phone and was not able to call me back on that day but did later in the week. He was apologetic and humble and I would do business with him again just because of his humble response on the phone. I like using them.

Description of Work: I've called a total of 6 times to setup an appointment and left messages. He returned my calls during times when I was in a meeting unable to answer the phone. When I returned his calls my calls have gone unanswered.

Description of Work: Replaced 7 interior door locksets; reinforced storm door hinges; miscellaneous repairs.

Description of Work: The deal was $79, plus the company had a coupon for two additional hours of labor at a discounted rate of about $85 per hour if memory serves me correctly, so the total was higher than reflected above. The handyman, Ken, stayed for four hours and completed everything I requested aside from what he, quite honestly, told me I needed guidance from the manufacturer first for (and for that honesty I was grateful). He stapled down an unwieldy cable cord, repaired a broken cable switch plate, assembled a bike rack, repaired three broken cabinets, caulked and tried to weather-strip several windows (and improvised when a more major fix could not be done), and spray-painted some older exhaust fans (again, improvising to my satisfaction when a complete replacement job was not feasible right then and there). He used the first part of the four hours to go to the home improvement store to buy materials (which was added to the total). I was pleased with Ken's work, his efficiency, and his creativity.

Description of Work: Ken came and replaced the guts of one toilet, fixed another running toilet, installed a dimmer switch and installed a safety guard on the exterior entrance door. was quick and knowledge; also looked at a couple other issues and gave high-level assessment of the issues and ways to go about fixing. great job!

Description of Work: Re-caulked tub/shower. It took 4 hours to complete. I did the same thing in my own home and it took 1.5 hours. Included stripping out old caulk, cleaning old caulk residue, and re-caulking the tub to wall seam. Mine came out looking better than the professional job, and I am no expert.

Description of Work: Service man was very punctual, and arranged a date of service right a way. He capped off outlot wires, and removed old covers. He finished installing insulation, stapled and put up a plastic vapor barrier. Very pleased with the work. Cindy H.
