Budget Right Handyman

Description of Work: I have used Budget Right Handyman on several occassions and always found their work to be good quality. They are punctual and professional. They always leave the worksite clean when they are finished. This time they replaced bathroom bamboo flooring due to a leaking toilet.

Description of Work: Hung a very heavy mirror and back bar/w mirror; minor drywall repair; reinstalled hand rails. The guys (Steve and Dave) were great! They came in on time and handled the jobs in a timely manner. I will definitely use them again!

Description of Work: Minor things around the house: installed 2 sets of sliding closet doors, fixed kitchen desk file cabinet drawer, fixed a shelf, installed a switch plate

Description of Work: The handyman installed three indicator locks on our bathroom doors. Once of the locks was faulty, or he would have installed a forth. One of the three locks that did work required almost an hour's worth of work because it was more complicated and involved drilling into the door frame. I wish that our handyman had been able to get a bit more done in the two hours that he was there, but I realize that quality work takes time and that there were some unforeseen obstacles.

Description of Work: They put together some IKEA furniture, adjusted a few things that needed fixing, and switched out two closet organizers. Very good work.

Description of Work: Fabulous work. Hung a chandelier, replaced a light switch, fixed the strike plate on the front door, re-mounted a poorly hung door, and other odds-and-ends. Would recommend to anyone!

Description of Work: We had a small list of odd jobs -- fixing the front gate; replacing the closer on the front, screen door; reattaching the dryer vent on the outside wall; fixing the latch on the back door; re-screwing down a loose board on the back deck, fixing the doorbell, etc. Parts needed to be bought, and Tim went over to the nearby Crafty Beaver, and bought some necessary parts (twice), and did as many of the items as possible on our punch list during the time allotted (3 hours, total). He was very accommodating and attentive to the tasks at hand, and I would hire Tim again. It was small stuff that nobody else wants to do, because there is not a LOT involved, but small items that needed to be done, nonetheless. We are NOT handy in this house, and had let a lot of those little things go. I was very happy with his work, and with getting those annoying, little things repaired. Tim did a great job!

Description of Work: The handyman did a good job on the projects I had for him, particularly grouting my tub and shower. I felt what I paid was steep for the service, once it was performed. It was difficult to get a read on the gentleman and I was a little thrown off.

Description of Work: Review number is too high...I think they are scamming your system. They say they came to the house and said they had a picture, there was no phone despite the fact that I called twice, 'supervisor' was incredibly rude, guy never showed up and with 10 minutes in the 2 hour time block they guy called and was horrible.

Description of Work: Called to say he was here, could not find parking space, cost to park under the bldg, 10.00 an hour, I said you take that off the bill I will go with half, he was to park in the garage, never called back , I called him he was going home, his truck would not clear, that is it,I recommended Angie's list, they asked for money back... I can get my own handyman, in fact I did!

Description of Work: Alberto installed drywall, and then came back to install some baseboard heaters and baseboard. He was very professional and personable. Their labor rates and the fact that you only pay cost for the materials can't be beat. I would definitely recommend Budget Right to my friends and neighbors, and already have. I live a block away from the owner and am very happy to be giving business to someone in my neighborhood.

Description of Work: Our handyman Pete arrived on time, took time to understand the three small jobs we needed done, even had to take a trip to the local hardware store to get a part, and finished it all perfectly and on time. I would not hesitate to use them again for other home projects. Pete made sure I understood what needed doing and how he was going to do it. I appreciated him talking with me honestly and respectfully.

Description of Work: They enlarged an opening in the wall of a finished basement and installed a new access panel. Another handyman re-caulked two bathrooms of an apartment I rent out.
