I have reviewed the work scope for this appointment and it appeared as though we had estimated three hours of service were required. We came in at three hours of service hitting our mark with our initial estimate. We work very hard at accurately estimating our handyman work and keep meticulous account of previous jobs to help us with future estimates. We do work on a time-and-material basis with our handyman projects and offer Angie's members what we feel to be a quite competitive hourly rate. We do maintain a two-hour minimum per appointment so our field techs spend less of their day driving and more of their day completing customers' projects. We always try to provide superior-quality work and really appreciate all the positive reviews. Of course, on the rare occasion we fail to meet our lofty standards, we like to hear that as well to help us improve our service and your experience with Budget Right.

Description of Work: I spoke with Matt to schedule my appointment he asked for a list of things I needed done for my two hours. The day of my appointment the guy came in the door stating it wasn't enough time to do everything on the list and told me for $50 more he complete my whole list. I declined and I told him let's see what could be done within the two hours. He replaced a light fixture took my TV down and replace another TV on the wall stand. I really want it my door to be put up he told me he did not have the proper saw to cut it so he end up putting a shoe stand together for me. The man was telling me other things that I need to have done and he used profanity the whole time he was there I did call and talk with Matt as soon as he left Matt said he will speak with him about his professionalism He also apologize that he did not sell me over the phone that my list will take longer than two hours After talking with him I really didn't feel I was taken seriously. The only thing that Matt offered me is that he will speak with the gentleman

We do try to estimate our jobs accurately over the phone as it is crucial to our success as a time-and-material business. We always try to be as clear as possible on the time it will take to complete your tasks and let you know this initially over the phone and again in person once on-site. If there are discrepancies in the duration of the time needed to complete your work, these are discussed at the beginning of the appointment or as soon as the tech knows additional time is needed. If we need more time to complete your work, we try to extend the appointment while on-site. If we do not have enough time to complete the punch-list of items that day, arrangements are made to revisit your home and complete the items at a time convenient for you. Of course, if less time is needed to complete your item or list of items than was estimated, we only charge our hourly rate for time spent working. Our customers do not commit to the duration of the estimate and associated cost if less time is needed. We only want dedicated, professional tradesmen working for us and serving our customers. We were not aware of any problems with this project. If you do encounter an issue with an item that one of our service techs repaired, do let our office know at 877 507 2126 as soon as you can. We always try to repair or install an item correctly the first time and do so the vast majority of the time. But like everyone, we are fallible and mistakes are occasionally made. We do warrantee our work for one year from the date of service.
