Description of Work: They hung some curtains for my mother. They took the right about of time and care and I was very pleased with service. I would highly recommend other members use their services. We purchased a deal for 2 hours of handyman service and felt it was a good value.

Description of Work: David, the handyman, power-washed our wood fence, both sides. The fence was very gray, very dirty and had moss on the wood closer to the ground. Now it looks like a brand new fence. He also replaced a couple of slats. David was careful to clean up my neighbor's side of the fence - their patio and the area just below the fence.This was important to me. I didn't want to leave a mess for them. This is the 2nd time we used Budget Right Handyman. They did such a good job the first time they were hear that I felt confident about asking them to do a bigger job, the fence. David was our handyman the 1st time so it was great to have him here again. He knows what he is doing. It is a huge relief to find a handyman service that is trustworthy,skilled and very affordable. We don't have to let things that we don't know how to fix fall into greater dis-repair. Thanks Budget Right.

Description of Work: Steve, the handyman, was very knowledgeable and got all of our tasks (drywall and screen repair) completed in a timely manner. The quality was good as well. Would us them again.

Description of Work: They were supposed to install three ceiling fans, a grab bar and a tv mount. When they installed pewter grab bar they cracked the grey tile and put in blue drywall screws instead of the pewter screws that came with the bar. When he went to put in the ceiling fans, he said he couldn't do it. He didn't know how to install them. He said there was no power going to the fan. He had no idea how to check r. He left exposed wires outside of the walls in my house when he left. He installed one ceiling fan but in the process, cut power from the switch so you can no longer power the fan via switch. The only thing I think he got right was the tv mount. Afterwards, He asked us to sign a waiver or document asking us not to report to Angie's List which we refused to sign.

Description of Work: There are some jobs best left to the Pros and Budget Right fit the bill. My husband and I needed to replace the sub-floor in a small bathroom that had rotted due to a leaking toilet. After tearing off the tile and viewing the damage, we quickly realized we were out of our league. Dirk quickly assessed what we needed to complete the job and allowed an additional hour. Tim P. arrived on time and quickly got to work, tearing out the old sub-floor and maneuvering around in a small space. Tim was very pleasant and knowledgeable about rehabbing older homes. Description of Work: Swapped out an old ceiling fan for a new one. Changed 2 pendant lights on porch and entrance. Also put weather striping on exterior and interior door to building. Elaine was thoughtful, helpful and kind.

Description of Work: The Budget Right handyman showed up on time for 2 hours of work. Upon arrival, my wife asked him to hang pictures, fix a few faulty light bulbs and put heavy duty coat hooks in two closets. The handyman was able to replace most of the bulbs (we had a few ceiling flood lights that broke when they burned out - so only the metal part of the bulb was stock in the socket - the glass had broken away). He installed two of the four heavy duty coat hooks that we asked. He was unable to install the other two (at no fault of his own) because the hardware / nail for the hooks weren't long enough. He hung up two of about 10 pictures. Several of the pictures needed to be hung in a group / rectangular pattern, however he seemed reluctant to hang them given the limited time that we had paid for in advance and that he didn't have a special tool to hang them in an efficient manner. In short, we were satisfied with his services, and the fact that he was unable to complete everything that we asked was our fault since we didn't explicitly tell Budget Right management in advance. Our prior experiences with Budget Right were with one handyman who is no longer there because of a move to another state. This particular individual seemed to have every tool and spare piece of hardware imaginable, so I didn't think we would need to be specific about tasks such as hanging pictures or installing coat hooks. |In fairness to Budget Right, I did not explicitly outline in advance what needed to be done. I would definitely call Budget Right Handyman again - I would just be very specific on needed to be done.
