Budget Right Handyman

I picked this company from the List because their listed address is six or eight blocks from my home. I called and a guy answered the phone and gave a name other than the one listed. I described the job and asked him to drive by, look it over and give me an estimate. I gave him my address and he seemed to have no idea where it was. But he said he would take a look and give me a price. I never heard back from him.

We purchased a coupon for $79.00 of work for 2 hours through Angie's List. They were excellent. They had outstanding customer service and Daniel Perez, who did the work, did an excellent job.

I have used Budget Right for the last few months but have neglected to write up feedback until now - I am extremely pleased with their service. They are professional, priced fairly, trustworthy and easy to work with. I have had Tim and Dan out on numerous occasions, both do a great job. My interactions with Dirk (owner) via phone have been great as well. I own several rental units and have used various handyman companies in the past trying to find one to partner with for the long-term, these guys are it. I highly recommend them.

While Mark was not always punctual, he was very professional and thorough. He was very confident in his work and with good reason. He was also very detail-oriented and was not satisfied with his work and would go back and work on certain things again and again. I really felt like he was looking out for us and did a lot of work for us for an extremely low price. We were quite shocked by the final bill...in a good way. He was friendly and often asked us for feedback. He really helped us tick off some to do items on our home repair task list. Will do business with Budget Right again.

Great! Mark showed up exactly on time which impressed me considering the city was doing work on the street so no street parking AND the school two doors down was starting for the day. Showed areas that needed work. Got supplies that I had from the basement and he brought his stuff in and went to work. The job was bigger than two hours so Mark set another date to come back and finish. Appreciate the coupon, really helps in choosing who to hire.

Dan Johnson came out on time, performed the list of tasks that we went over on time. He was very professional, courteous, and great at what he does. Would use this company again.

Budget Right called with notice of (slight) delay in arrival time. Had purchased two hours of "handyman" time on Angie's special offer. Had selected B.R. from location (and Angie's reports). Mark was polight and considerate, reviewed situation (a handrail mounting had split). Studs had to be located for successful repair. BR shopped for molding, added extra bracket for safety, purchased rail supports, remounted molding on wall into studs as necessary, mounted three supports, then filled plaster holes where necessary, painted and cleaned up. BR added $20. for cost of materials, and left remainder of fill material for continued maintenance.Work was performed on 115-year-old historical building.

I bought an Angie's List Deal. When it came time to book them, I reached out to the owner, who responded the same day. They set-up a time for one of their guys to come out. He was on-time, professional, and did a great job. I then spoke with the woman who deals with billing. Everything went smoothly. Loved them.

When I called to make the appointment, Tim was super friendly and told me everything I would need for the jobs I had so Mark wouldn't have to waste time going to the hardware store. He even hipped me to the 3 hour drying time bath caulk which is a miracle as I thought I'd have to go without my shower for a day or more! Mark called about 10 minutes before my appointment time to say he was running a little late, but I didn't mind at all, as he totally went over the 2 hour time limit for me and didn't charge me any extra! Thanks, Mark! He was professional and really knowledgeable about all the jobs I needed done and even went above and beyond to fix my drippy HVAC pipe that wasn't on my orignal list of "to-do's" when I called. I would highly recommend the service (already have to several friends) and will definitely be using them again.

He was fine. He took a long time to do the work, though, so I ended up having to pay more money. I also did not know what supplies would be needed, so he had to get the supplies for the job on the Big Deal's time. If you know what you want and if you have the supplies there, it is good deal.

It was very good. I would definitely want to use his services again.

Wow! Dan did such a fantastic job addressing the many odd jobs that I had for him. He completed everything on my list including installing a new medicine cabinet, cleaning skylight, securing baseboards and painting an outdoor post, among other things. I have my new handman. It's nice to have someone I know will do a professional, high quality job.

He was able to do anything we asked him to, did it quickly, cleaned up and was very pleasant to deal with.

Slightly late, but called in advance. Job took slightly longer than expected,but price seemed adjusted for time need to go to the store. Mark was very nice and had additional recommendations, but not pushy.. Great great price, would totally use again and again.

The Handyman was punctual, friendly, flexible and efficient. We hired him to remove an old toilet and install a new one. We have an old house, so of course things got more complicated once he got into the job. He provided options and suggested solutions and remained pleasant and professional. We are very happy with his work. Then he unclogged our kitchen sink and made recommendations about modifications/work we may want to consider in the future, giving us a good idea with a direction to go with our old-house piping issues. His professional opinion was particularly valuable because of the breadth of his experience and the fact that he was not trying to talk us into hiring his company for the work.

I followed him to Home Depot to purchase the door and needed supplies. The garage is not plumb so some siding issues were inevitable. He explained this in advance. He kept me posted and showed how and why he installed a specific way. Also gave advice on how we should replace a gate in our fence. Possible future project. Used the coupon. Great value.

I purchased the Angie's List Deal for this company (2 hours of service for $79.00) and was very happy with the services received. It was very easy to set up an appointment - I was able to get through to someone right away and schedule a visit. Dan, the assigned handyman, called the day of the appointment and was able to come a few hours earlier than scheduled. He replaced a broken garbage disposal and replaced a cracked pipe he found while taking out the broken garbage disposal. Dan was super efficient. He went to Home Depot and got the replacement pipe so I could get everything taken care of in one visit. I really found Dan to be very professional, efficient, and someone I would recommend to my friends. I have already scheduled another visit!

Outstanding experience. Highly professional group. The handyman who came out, Dan, was personable, knowledgeable, and worked very efficiently. He quickly diagnosed problems, explained solutions, and did a great job fixing myriad different repairs in a short period of time. The value here is unbeatable with Angie's list deal and future coupon offerings. Budget Right Handyman is my go-to handyman in the future. Highly recommended.

I purchased replacement fencing and had planned to install it myself but it turned out to be a different sized post and I decided I needed help with the installation. I contacted Budget Right Handymen and was very pleased with the work that was done by them. Very professional, and inexpensive compared to others.

I found Budge Right Handyman through Angie's List. When Marc arrived, I was a bit skeptical as to whether he could handle the job himself, because he is thin, little guy. But he looked over the work area, gave us an estimate and got to work. Marc was AWESOME. He was extremely efficient, tidy, and very courteous. You couldn't ask for a harder worker. With the Angie's list coupon we purchased and the coupon booklet Budget Right provided, the job came out to a fraction of what another handyman quoted. This process was exceptionally easy from start to finish. I scheduled with them during our initial call and the owner suggested purchasing an additional two hour block of time with money saving coupons carried by the handymen. The guy assigned to us arrived early and consulted us on all aesthetic matters (how high to place the lights, centering, etc). When he finished, he took a look at a couple of other small repairs, made a quick trip to the hardware store, and used the remaining time to knock several items off our 'to do' list.

Showed up on time (called about 20 minutes ahead to let me know he was on his way). Took the window apart to see what was needed then headed to Home Depot to get the parts. Offered to call from the store to let us know the price of parts before buying them. Took a little longer than the 2 hours alotted for the Angie's list deal, but didn't charge us for the extra time and then cleaned the window inside and out, as well as the floor around it and the window frame. Left the place spotless.

It went very well. He knew what he was doing, was very neat and cleaned everything before he left. He also fixed the leak under the sink when he installed the new drain and faucet. I am pleased with the work.

Danny arrived on time and did a great job with all of our fixes. We will definitely use this company again.
