Description of Work: Contracted to remove wire closet system and install new wire systems in two 5' wide closets. These systems were purchased already scaled to closet size. Installation included attaching spines to the wall to enable three shelving units to click into place anywhere along the spine.

Description of Work: Repaired a break-in in our detached garage where a person pulled away our siding to get into the garage. Repaired the leaves from an dining room table that no longer fit. The service person did a third thing but I don't recall what it was.

Description of Work: Ken changed a shower diverter, fixed two drain plugs, stopped a leak at a faucet and completely changed a drain plug. He also went above and beyond by adjusting a "Little Butler" water heater and cooler - which wasn't even originally discussed prior to Ken arriving on site.

Description of Work: Budget Right Handyman came out to work on my screen door. He figured out why screen doors do not fit in my door. I had an Angie's List coupon.

Description of Work: Ken arrived early and finished quickly. He did a great job and was friendly and helpful.

Description of Work: Had what I thought was a list that would take the 2 hours for the coupon rate. Turns out should have had a longer list! Ken was efficient and did excellent work. He installed weather strip set on back door. Front door hydraulic closing mechanism needed to be replaced; even though it was not the exact match he made it work beautifully. Examined and specified new fence gate parts e.g. 2 new wood treated braces to replace old ones before new hinges and locks are purchased. Next he fixed maladjusted screw on other door latch to align for better closure. Diagnosed roof gap issues. Fixed loosened shower head washer by use of silicone to affix to wall. Lastly, when I could not think of anything else he changed out the full size screen door insert for the winter heavy glass storm glass insert on front door. Darn there was nearly 40 more minutes to go and he had completed ALL OF THAT... He certainly earned the cost of my coupon despite my not having more to do (with ready parts)! I love this company! Description of Work: I called Budget Right Handyman to have our faucet and some electrical wires under our sink looked at. Our faucet was leaking water at the base of the faucet which was dripping down into the cabinet under the sink. There were also some electrical wires running from the garbage disposal to a junction behind the wall. A portion of the electrical wires were wrapped in electrical tape which did not appear to be correct. Since water was now dripping down to where the electrical wires were located, I wanted to have both looked at. I looked at reviews on Angie’s List and came across Budget Right Handyman. They had a lot of reviews and overall the reviews were good. I also noticed that they had a deal for 2 hours of work for $79.00. I called Tim at Budget Right to book an appointment. He scheduled me with Daryl at 1:00 the following Monday. Daryl called me the day of the appointment and said he was running early and asked if he could show up at 12 instead of 1. Although I had to take an additional hour off work, I agreed and met him at 12. Daryl was on time and courteous when he arrived. I explained the issue and he took a look. He looked at the electrical under the sink and said that it definitely didn’t look right and it should be repaired. He said it shouldn’t be just wrapped in electrical tape, especially with the potential of water leaking to that area. I also explained that the faucet was leaking and the water was coming from the base of the faucet and not the pipes. He turned the faucet on and off several times to see where the water was coming from and proceeded to tighten all pipe connections under the sink. He wiped up the water that had leaked and said he was going to run to his car and Walgreens to get supplies and would come back and see if any more water was leaking. He returned 20 minutes later with a roll of electrical tape and some plumber’s putty. He proceeded to wrap up the area that had the electrical issue with tape which is what he originally said was not a good solution. He then put some white plumber’s putty around the base of the faucet and said that it should help keep the water from coming out until I can find a better solution. I tested the faucet and the water was still appearing around the faucet and through the plumber’s putty. He said that I should try to let the plumber’s putty dry and it may work better. Once he was done with that he started to write up the invoice with the work performed. It was 1:00 so he had only been there for 1 hour and the deal was for 2 hours. I inquired about the electrical “fix” because he had used a solution which he originally did not recommend. He said he didn’t think he would have enough time to repair it so I could schedule another appointment for him to come back with additional tools and he could fix it then. He said he could try to fix the faucet during that visit as well. Since I had prepaid for 2 hours and had only used 1 hour, I asked if I would still have the additional hour to use at a later time. He said that the deal is for a minimum of 2 hours so I could not save the remaining 1 hour. Since I asked them to repair the leak and the electrical and they had done neither, I asked why he couldn’t finish the electrical during the remaining hour. He looked at his watch and under the sink a few more times and then asked if there was a hardware store near by. I told him there was a hardware store a few blocks away so he said he would go there and see if they have what he needs. He returned 30 minutes later with a metal bracket to cover the wires. He disconnected the wires that were connected to the disposal, inserted the bracket, and re-connected the wires to the disposal which took 15 minutes. He said he was finished, he showed me the receipt for the $3 part he bought, I paid him for the part and he left. I didn’t use the faucet for several hours so the plumber’s putty could dry. I tried it later that evening and it still wasn’t dry and the water was still leaking from the faucet and now water was coming from the pipes underneath the sink as well. Also, every time we use the garbage disposal it now blows a fuse and I have to reset the breaker each time.

Description of Work: Identify and seal a leak from a basement pipe. Replace the handle and adjust a screen door so that it closed properly. Fixed a faulty light switch. Re-glue and re-grout several bathroom floor tiles. Repair closet light that wasn't working. Re-attach ceiling fan ceiling cap.
