Budget Right Handyman

They were good about getting back with me. They were on time and easy to get in touch with. I asked them to hang curtain rods and I did not explain that drywall anchors were needed so they used the screws into the drywall and now they are coming down. I actually had to have a different handyman rehang them.

The handyman showed up on time and performed the work in the amount of time expected. My only suggestions would be to have the handyman use shoe covers so not to bring in the dirt from outside as he went back to his truck a few times.

Ken was fantastic. He performed all necessary work promptly and to my standards. He cleaned the area before leaving and was very courteous and personable.

Did a great job, and even though it took well a few hours more than what 2 hours, he did not charge extra. He tried very hard to get it just right, but they were poor instructions. I appreciate all his hard work!

We were putting our condo on the market and needed some small repairs in the washroom: caulking, grout sealing, etc. He did everything we asked. Everything was fine. It was a special sale handyman $ 79 for 2 hours.

We had a dog door installed through our porch wall. The work was quickly completed, looks great, and everything was cleaned before he left.

He is a great handyman! He fixed everything I had and everything is still working. He finished projects faster than I gave him (2 hours) and did the job well. I would recommend this company.

Job was done in a timely manner, things went smoothly

The phone calls were answered promptly and the serivces was scheduled that week. Ken was punctual, polite and professional and completed all the tasks in 2 hours and he fixed a switch in my kitchen. I was impressed.

The handyman called about an hour before he was suppose to arrive telling me he was having car trouble and would be arriving late. He eventually arrived an hour and half after the expected start time. Not a great start to the day, but I appreciated the call and the updates. Upon his arrival, he got right to work. We had him remove carpet and subflooring in a bedroom, pull up a couple of stairs and remove some baseboards. along the wall. He completed the work efficiently and was generally clean and tidy. Other than the late start - which I know was out of his control, I thought he did a great job and would hire him again.

It was a good experience. He came and fixed a whole bunch of odds and ends. He was able to be creative and adaptive to our situation. The price was wildly good. The quality was very good. They are able to schedule an appointment fairly quickly. They came a half hour late a couple of times but they stay later for us.

I had a handyman visit to help with a number of odd jobs around the house, including: putting up art around the house, moving heavy items out to my garage, and it's been a while so I don't remember everything. Nice, friendly handyman helped out. I was satisfied with all of his work.

Some water leaked on the floor but the finished job was excellent.

Al adjusted the lock on the powder room door so that it locked properly. This was important to have done before Xmas parties. I was satisfied with all that was accomplished.

I purchased 2 hours of handyman services through an Angies List special. We had a couple of miscellaneous projects that we had put off for years! Projects included removing iron railings from our front stoop, installing a towel hook and anchoring a tall CD tower into the wall. Tim worked quickly and efficiently, but his work was, nevertheless, careful. Installations were secure and even, and the removal of the railings (involving sawing them off from the cement stoop) was finished neatly. Will use Budget Right again.

Due to house settling, the frame of the sliding window was out of alignment and the window could not be closed. The handyman fixed it for a very reasonable price.

Very well. I highly recommend this company.

Handyman Aaron was prompt, courteous and professional. I live in a very old building with very old plaster walls in Hyde Park. I hired a handyman to install 3 six-foot long shelves on the wall. I wish I had educated myself about wall anchors before Aaron arrived because I could have told him what not to do. Aaron mentioned that I probably needed more secure anchors for the job before he started, but he didn't have any on him and proceeded with what he had. The shelves went up and looked great. I placed no more than five books on one shelf and it came crashing down off the wall taking a whole lot of plaster with it. Aaron wanted to redo the job with the correct anchors, but he had another appointment that could not be delayed. The solution: He would return on another day and I would pay for an additional hour of his time (to fix his oversight) plus the additional materials... I really didn't think that was fair.

He did one closet. I was hoping he would have been able to put two closets together. I did appreciate that he was able to get desk from basement.

They were very accomodating when I had to cancel my Wednesday appointment last minute because the whole family was sick. I was able to get another appointment for today (Friday) at a moment's notice. My orignal appointment was for 4 hours of work but today they were only able to allot 2 hours. Ken came before his appointment time and after we went over the list, he said he would move his next appointment back an hour and get my job done in 3 hours. He delivered! He was quick and efficent. He patched the holes and painted over. He also fixed our garage door. If my husband hadn't thrown out the paint for our bedroom, Ken would have been able to finish that too.

It was a good experience. They gentleman that they sent had done that for some time. Everything was fine. The quality of work did meet our expectations. I called them recently to get some handymen work done, but they did not call me back.

I had reached out to Budget for a couple of small items around the house: - Drywall repair - a bathroom fixture which had been installed poorly and to patch a couple of holes in the drywall from a poorly installed banister. - Insulation for our bathtub & dishwasher both of which are butted up against an outside wall (concerned with the cold weather pipes may burst) Matt arrived at the house on time and walked through each of the issues with me, he provided an estimate of 2 - 3 hours to complete all of the work. After he had patched the dry wall he took a look at the bathtub and called me in to explain that without a wand to spray dry wall there wasn't anyway to insulate our bath tub further. However, he did provide a couple of alternatives for ensuring that the area surrounding the tub doesn't get cold enough to burst any pipes, one of which we are going to move forward with. He wrapped up the additional work in about 1.5 hours (2 hours total). He then took the time to walk me through what he'd done. Overall it was a great experience and we'll no doubt use them again.

We had them help us with a few things around the house: sticky door (was rubbing against the floor) and assemble some dimmers to a few rooms. We also had them look at a window that wasn't closing shut but they were not able to help us with that. The door was fixed OK and the dimmers were installed just fine. They told us to call a window expert as they weren't sure/able to figure out why our window was not closing properly. Overall, fine job and no complaints.

It was great! It worked out really well and if I had to use them again I would!

Aaron showed up five minutes early and was kind enough to work four hours on a Sunday. He helped us get through a long list of projects and checked in along the way. The price is great and we were able to save money by shopping for our own materials.
