Budget Right Handyman

I wouldn't use this company again. Their pricing is very high. They just don't seem very price savy. They have downton pricing, but not in that area

everything was fine from beginning to end. Ken was professional, he wasn't wasting any time, he got right to work

I purchased the package for two hours worth of service. I was contacted the same day and we scheduled the appointment. Matt arrived exactly on time. Installing the drapery rod required skill and planning. I live in a 40 year old condo and many different rods have obviously been installed resulting in much of the areas being nothing but patching compound. Matt did an excellent job. Next he drilled holes for the cabinet pulls and because the original installers had drilled large holes to install the front of the drawer to the drawer itself, it again required patience and skill. I highly recommend Budget Right and will absolutely use them in the future. A great experience and the value of the package is fantastic.

Bought but did not use Angie's List coupon

The work was done well and within one day, which was great. The handyman was friendly, worked hard and gave us advice when we needed it. Overall we were satified and would use them again. The only set back was the amount of mess (white dust) that was left behind. We specifically asked if we should cover and move all of our stuff out of bedroom, he assured us it would be fine. We checked in a couple hours later and the entire bedroom was covered in white dust. Thankfully, we started removing our clothes so nothing was damaged; however, my wife i spend days cleaning up our bedroom and there is still a white film on much of our furniture to this day. It's partly our fault for not moving our stuff, so next time we will be more prepared. All and all, we were happy and would use them again.

The guy who came out was good, and stayed till the job was completed.

They came in to install a built in microwave and fixed a lock.

The anchors for the j hook mounting were not installed properly. The installation failed and another tradesman had to remount the hooks. The other work appears to be satisfactory. I would not use this company again.

He was very time-efficient and effective. Since the weather-stripping, the family room retains heat much better. He was polite, quick, and seemed to know exactly what to do. We were very happy with the results. The first time another handyman came and he did a good job exactly measuring out where to hang artwork and frames. He measured, leveled, and make sure everything was exactly symmetric--much better than we could have done!

No work was performed - they never called me back.

Aaron did an excellent job and explained everything in detail. Project took 3 hours but still only charged me for the 2 hours I paid for up-front.

Handyman came a little late yet was able to install shelves and pot rack. He went out and got the materials for the shelf and we already had the pot rack. He quickly and professionally created the shelf and he quickly and professionally installed the pot rack. There was minor damage to the corner of one wall from resting a ladder, yet there was no other way to get the job done. My wife and I are very happy with the work and we use the handiwork every day. Budget Right Handyman is now our go-to handyman.

He started with the replacing the thermostat. He finished that so quickly I didn't realize he was done. Then on to the next job, installing the folding door and then the electrical outlet which I was missing a part for the installation. I also appreciate before installing the new electrical outlet he checked the old outlet and explained to me what was wrong with it and then went to the hardware store and got the missing part. After the installation of the electrical outlet he replaced the piping under the kitchen sink. I also didn't have the correct parts for that either, but he worked with some parts he had and fixed my leak. All this for a reasonable price. The coupon offered by Angie's List helped for the first couple of hours. He warned me of the extra charge after going over my coupon time. I really appreciated that. I would definitely use them again.

The price was right. It was a very good experience. He knows what he is doing. He is handy and he personally bought the wood for the project. He was honest and capable of the job.

The service was great. I had no problems with them at all. They came out, did the work, honored the coupon, and were very professional.

I purchased the 2-hour Handyman Big Deal for $79 on Feb 11. I called Budget Right Handyman the same day and spoke to Tim who scheduled the appointment. Tim was very pleasant and helpful. He asked what I wanted done and then asked when I needed the work done and I told him it wasn't urgent, so whenever they could get to it. Tim scheduled it for today, Feb 19th at 8am and I was told that Ken would be the handyman. Ken arrived on time, was very pleasant and did a wonderful job. Ken is skilled, works fast. His work was very precise - he paid attention to the details, measuring twice before drilling, using his level to triple check. He made sure I was comfortable with how the window treatments would hang. I asked lots of questions and Ken was very patient with me; especially when I changed my mind about how I wanted the curtains and the shades hung - good news is that I changed my mind before he drilled a hole in the wall, so there was no rework involved - thank goodness. What a difference these window treatments make! Ken also patched a hole in the wall behind a door. The hole was caused by the door knob banging into the wall every time the family entered - we have since installed a door stopper to prevent further damage. We have several other projects we'd like to get done and will definitely use Budget Right Handyman again.

He arrived early and did a fantastic job.

I purchased the $79 two hour special. Kevin showed up on time and cleaned out two faucets that were clogged. He also adjusted the tracks on my garage door and the door closer on the front door. He was very efficient and quick. All the work was completed in less than an hour, and he kept asking if there was anything else I needed to have done to make sure I took full advantage of the time I had with him. I will definitely use BudgetRight services in the future.

Ken came by for 2 hours of handyman service. He was prompt and polite. We needed a railing bolted in our stairs, he finished the work in about an hour taking the time to clean the mess up and move the furniture back into place. Since we had some time remaining, he then installed a baby gate for us, which took about 30 minutes. He even took the time to patch the holes my husband has drilled during his previous attemps. We will use Budget Right in the future for handyman needs.

I left a message for service and the call was returned promptly. Aaron showed up on time and was very professional. I'd purchased the 2 hours of handyman services for $79 to lay a floor in the room in the basement. He assessed the situation and got to work. He provided an estimate of completion which he met. I was impressed at the attention he paid to every detail of laying the floor. It appeared he was laying a floor in his own home! I will definitely have Aaron back to help with several projects around our house.
