Budget Right Handyman

He is very slow. He is unprofessional telling me one thing but doing another thing.

Budget Right sent Matt to my home. He was very nice, professional and on time. The work was done to my liking and in an efficient manner. Matt honored by Angie's List discount and gave me coupons for savings on future work.

I had originally planned to have a new crawlspace access put it my laundry room. Unfortunately, Aaron was not able to do that particular job due to ductwork, and floor joists being in the way. He tried very hard to find a spot that would work, going in and out of the crawlspace four times. In the end, we decided it just wasn't going to be possible. We then talked about some other things on my to do list that he could do and got started on those tasks. He was very professional and did a great job with the tasks I had asked him to do. He even went to two different stores looking for a screen door for our garage. Unfortunately the screen door I was hoping to get is something that is not carried in regular stock. That was not his fault at all. I should have had a backup plan in place, as the coupon suggests, just for these kinds of instances. Definitely will use this service again.

We had bought a coupon for work and due to circumstances, did not use it for some months. When we contacted them to use it, there was no problem with their honoring it and they came right out and fixed our fence. Very happy with the service.

Ken was great. He called about 45 minutes before arriving. Arrived on time. Was courteous and professional. We needed a botched job fixed. He fixed the work and pointed out some other areas he could fix at no extra charge. It is 100% better. We then had an issue outside that we asked him to look at. He fixed it in creative way in about 5 seconds. We will definitely call Ken again for all our handyman needs.

Ken was able to come by the same day as I called to set the appointment. He was on time and very knowledgable and was able to get the sink that I "installed" to work correctly and get it hooked up and not leaking. Money well spent!!

We purchased the bars. The technician was professional, the installation is very sturdy and looks clean and neat. I marked responsiveness as "B" because I left several messages and it took more than two days for the owner to return my initial call. Everything else about the service was highly professional.

There was a mix up with the first appointment we made. They did not show up on time, they were two hours away when they were suppose to be there. Because of that we got a break next time when they showed up to do the work. They made it right in the end. Once they came, the work was done quickly and well. Their negotiation to make it right was very fair.

We just purchased our home and the previous owners had several cats and dogs. One of the pets decided to use the base of the kitchen cabinet that encases the fridge as a bathroom and it had a horrible smell! So we needed to cut the piece of wood out that was saturated and replace it. The handyman was able to cut the wood. The smell was awful when he cut it out and I thought he went above and beyond by asking for bleach and cleaning out underneath the fridge. He then replaced the wood with a trim that matches the rest of the trim in the kitchen. The only thing we weren't sure about is he left a piece of the wood still there which still smells. I assume that was to attach the trim to, I am not sure. I wish we could have gotten rid of all of that wood along the edge. I didn't notice it until the handyman left. There is probably a reason why it is still there...but I am not sure!

The handyman not able to do the job as he doesn't have the right tools and left mentioning this job needs professional plumber.

Ivan arrived on time. He had the tools and drill bits needed to drill into concrete. If he had called me prior to his arrival, I could have directed him to my building's parking. He did not so he parked in a commercial parking which I had to reimburse. Installation was done professionally as far as method and knowledge. Clean and accurate. His work habits were professional, except the fact that he did not spread any cloth or newspaper on the floor. This mean't that all debris from drilling in the ceiling and bits of wire etc. were littered on the wood floor. He left them there. This created risk of scratching the floor. I would have expected him to remove all packing and boxes and clean up after his work.

It went great and will certainly call them again and will refer them to others.

It was not that well. He was suppose to install a lazy susan, turning cabinet. The first time was incorrectly, the second time the bottom shelf was upside down. When he was going to move on to the next thing I pointed it out and he said I was right and he fixed it. It took twice as long as it should. The rest of the stuff was done fine. He did not have a good attention to the detail.

2pm appointment scheduled to get my job done, Aaron called at 1pm to notify me that the current job he was on was taking longer than expected, and he apologized that would be late - no problem, I appreciated the advance notice and call (rather than a no-show), and I expect that he was just making sure that the customer ahead of me was taken care of. He also called to ask EXACTLY what the job he was to perform consisted of, and what materials and tools he would need (apparently the dispatcher did not relay the specific details that I provided when the appointment was scheduled a week earlier - the only info Aaron had was a job ticket that said "copper pipe"). Anyway, Aaron gave me a call an hour later when he picked up the supplies needed for my job at Home Depot and let me know he was on his way. When Aaron showed up, he was professional, personable, and genuinely apologetic for the delayed start. Aside from being friendly, Aaron was focused on getting my job completed efficiently. He got right to removing and replacing my pipe, working on a ladder in a cramped area above my hot water heater in my utility room (not the easiest task), and completed the removal, installation, soldering, and cleanup in about 90 mins. I'm very happy with the work Aaron did - good value for the services performed, and charges for the supplies/materials needed were right off of the Home Depot reciept - no markup or hidden extras. I would definitely recommend Aaron (solid handyman skills, seems to be a jack-of-all-trades) and Budget Right to anyone needing handyman services.

I feel I must give a written review after having Aaron's services. He is a superb worker. Aside from doing excellent work for us, he is also a person who is polite, honest, helpful,creative in his solutions to difficult problems and a perfectionist in performing his job. After my experience with him, I hope that budget right and Aaron will be my permanent solution to all our handyman needs.

Aaron came out on time, He was very thorough and knowledgeable. grout work was clean, and he even fixed a fridge door that was off kilter. A+!

I thought they did an above average job and would probably use them again, although the faucet they replaced started leaking a week later and the fan in the bathroom was not wired properly.

Professional service. Arrived late and did call to notify me running late. When he completed the two items on my list he asked if any other work was required and suggested checking panel doors to ensure still closing properly. I appreciated this proactive approach. Excellent service.

We called and set up an appointment. They came by on time and was able to all that we requested.

Scheduling was simple; the repair man was able to come out the next day. Upon arriving and inspecting the job, he noticed that there was an adapter needed to make the faucet we'd purchased, fit our sink. He actually went out to the nearest Home Depot, purchased the item, which was just an additional $10., and install it, all in less than the 2 hours we paid for. He was fast, professional and courteous. I will definitely use them again and refer them to others in need of their services.

He did a great job and he is coming back to paint my garage.

It went great. He had never seen that ikea product before and anyone who has assembled ikea knows its alway a experience.

The handyman arrived on time and quickly and efficiently did everything on the list of tasks. He was knowledgeable and professional.. That's pretty much it.
