Budget Right Handyman

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went well. I used them since then. They did good work and they were efficient. They told me something if they couldn’t do it. They’re really honest.

Overall the work quality was very poor. I was looking for a handyman service which I could use for multiple jobs and I would not recommend them

The provider was able to fix just about everything we asked him to do, but he did end up spending some of the time "on the clock" going to Home Depot. As I've learned, this is pretty common with handymen and contractors, so you should expect to either buy the materials you need for the job beforehand, or you're going to have to pay to have your guy drive to the store and go shopping for you. Our Handyman was able to fix all the leaky pipes and fixtures, except one, our bathtub faucet in our master bath. We had to schedule another time for him to come back and fix that one. Unfortunately, he didn't show up for the next appointment due to a scheduling error. When we were finally able to get him out, after 5 hours of working he finally able to get the leak to stop. My only real complaint about Budget Right Handyman is that it's sometimes difficult to actually get their scheduler on the phone, and they botched up the scheduling of one of our appointments and did not offer any sort of discount or other compensation for the inconvenience. They did apologize profusely, but this doesn't do much to make up an entire Sunday afternoon wasted waiting around for them.

Very well. Showed up on time and did his work very well and neatly.

The service was very good. They were quick to get in and get the job taken cared of. The service was provided two to three weeks after I purchased the big deal and I did not spend any more than that. It was just a small job.

INITIALLY I HAD A TERRIBLE TIME REACHING THE REPRESENTATIVE WHO HAD BEEN ASSIGNED FOR MY WORK. WE PLAYED PHONE TAG FOR WEEKS, AS MY CALLS ALWAYS WENT TO VOICE MAIL, AND HE SAID HE DID NOT USE EMAIL. HOWEVER, JUST WHEN I WAS THINKING ABOUT WHETHER I SHOULD ASK FOR A REFUND, I WAS CONTACTED BY THE REGIONAL MANAGER, WHO APOLOGIZED PROFUSELY FOR THE PROBLEMS THAT I HAD ENCOUNTERED. HE SCHEDULED ME FOR A CONVENIENT TIME RIGHT THEN, THE HANDYMAN WAS PROMPT TO THE MINUTE, AND HE DID A GREAT JOB. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THE SERVICE AGAIN - I THINK MY INITIAL EXPERIENCE WAS AN INTERNAL ISSUE FOR THE COMPANY AND THEY MOVED QUICKLY TO CORRECT IT ONCE IT BECAME APPARENT.

Aeron was very well prepared and before he started the job he took the time to review the project and my expectations. He then reviewed the estimated cost of the project. He finished the job within 4 hours which was about the time i expected and below he pre-job estimte. Work was done well. Neat and cleaned up after his work was completed.

I purchased the door ahead if time. I had also purchased trim. The guy arrived on time took out the old door and trim, replaced the door with the new door and installed the new trim. He also put on the door knob. The work was done well.

The handyman was prompt and professional. When we ran into snags, he was great in offering possible fixes; one of which was to craft a custom sliding-door closet track made necessary by a manufacturer's error. Unfortunately, the track he crafted-although functioning just fine so far-was a multi-piece design rather than a preferable single piece of wood. Because I was under the gun schedule-wise to make this repair, it didn't seem prudent at the time to complain about the design. I would absolutely hire this company and this particular worker again, but would also absolutely go over every detail prior to.

It was great! He was very helpful and assisted with anything that I needed help with.

Every thing he did was perfect. I will use this service again.

The person who came out the first time, had the wrong phone number and so we had to reschedule. However, the second person came on the correct date, at the correct time, and was absolutely wonderful. He attached the banister very securely.

Showed up on time and completed everything within 2 hours. I was very pleased with the quality of he work, particularly with the gas leak which required replacing the flexible gas line with black steel pipe. HVAC quotes were at least 3-4 times the price.

We had used Budget Right Handyman to design our kitchen remodel. We already made a commitment with another contractor for the remodel so we utilized their services to reuse the existing cabinets for garage storage. The work was scheduled promptly. Due to an unforeseen back injury with the scheduled handyman, Tim quickly rescheduled a subcontractor for the following day. The subcontractor showed up on time. He expertly and efficiently completed all scheduled work. He had a little time left so he asked us if we needed anything else done. We did. A flag mount needed to be affixed to our home. He agreed. Unknowing to us, a major storm had rolled in with torrential rain. He told my wife "he was not sugar and wouldn't melt" and completed the job. In summary. We would highly recommend them specifically for their prices, professionalism and punctuality.

It was really good. They were really good and very professional. He was very open to advice when I asked him about my door and he explained a lot of things to me. It was a very good old time to help me out and make sure I got the right material and everything that he did it. The appointment time was convenient for me. They did show up on time.

We could not be more happy. Aaron was amazing! Got through everything on my extensive to-do list. Solved a number of problems for us that we could have easily been taken advantage of by less honest contractors (plumbing & electrical issues that seemed like they might be major issues turned out to be quick fixes.) And he didn't mind working with my crazy dogs running around! We would deifinitely use Aaron again! Can't say enough good things about him.

Set up the appointment for today two weeks ago or so. He was on time and he even offered to come earlier. He knew right away what I wanted done and I didn't have to explain too much, which was really helpful since I'm a new homeowner. He recommended a type of trim to replace the wood that would be much stronger and require less work (but first he did offer to simply replace the wood). I took him up on getting better material since I'd like to not have to worry about it again. I'm very happy with the job he did. I would absolutely hire this company again.

Ken did a great job. He arrived early, finished both jobs in two hours, and did excellent work. Would definitely use again.

They are not responding to my calls. I have left 3 or 4 messages.

I am still waiting to hear from him

I bought the 2 hours for $79 deal. My kitchen cabinets were pulling from the wall and were out of whack with the shelves falling down, and one of the pull-outs was off the track. It took about an hour and a half to straighten out the cabinets. The handyman, Matt, was professional and did a good job.

Great! The bathroom door turned into a bigger job than expected but he was very qualified and did a great job.

He went to Menards to get corner savers for my corner walls for the stairs. Was unable to finish the work in 4 hours, since the walls have to be completely dry to put a second coat of plaster. Have scheduled for Aeron to come back on 9/26/2013 to work for 8 hours to finish everything, and do additional work that is needed around the house.
