The experience was great. Jesus was prompt, professional, and incredibly knowledgable! I quoted this project out with multiple different companies and the price offered was competitive, but they were able to get the job scheduled and completed over a week before any of the competition could. I would definitely work with Budget Right again.

I was happy with my experience from start to finish, including scheduling, the service performed, and billing process. My handyman, Luis Martinez, was prompt, professional, kept me updated throughout the project, and did a nice job.

The BRH technician can out and accessed the non-working exterior outlet was defective. He removed it and made the necessary modifications to install the new outlet. Great, professional job all way around.

Emmanuel was incredibly helpful. We had him over on two occasions and he completed each task in a timely and proficient manner. He delivered quality work.

The service was horrible. I needed my mailbox replaced An appointment was made over a week from me contacting them to allow for the city to mark the electrical lines. On the day of the appointment no one called or showed up. I contacted the company and was told I was not scheduled yet because they were unaware if the city had marked the lines (which was the reason for me setting the appointment over a week away. At that time I set another appointment in which they asked for my credit card number to hold the appointment (which they did not do initially). On the day of the second appointment I was contacted by the technician who stayed he was running late but would soon be there. He then called me back and requested I send a picture of the mailbox. I did. He then sent me a text asking if there were power lines near the box. As I am not a city worker and was unable to decipher the markings I recalled one of the city workers stated there are lines but the work can be done. 2 hours after my SECOND scheduled appointment the technician called and said he was not going to perform the job. At that time I contacted his supervisor Sam Servanchez who also stated they were not going to perform the service. I began to express my frustration regarding this matter as I had waited for 2 whole days over a period of 2 weeks for them to show up just to have them call me 2 hours after the second appointment to tell me they were not going to do the job. Sam began to talk over me as if my complaint was not valid and he didn't care. He was rude, unprofessional and unsympathetic to the lack of competence his company presented. He attempted to end the conversation while I was still speaking stating "Have a good day,. Have a good day, Have a good day. Well my day is better now that I will hopefully prevent someone from having to go through what I did with this company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

I contacted Budget Right Handyman to have a window air conditioner unit installed.The day of the project i was contacted by the assigned handyman Emmanuel C. who related that he come out earlier than scheduled if it worked for me,which it did.Emmanuel arrived and got right to work and completed the job quickly.I was very pleased with the service provided by Emmanuel C.,he was friendly and did a GREAT JOB.I have used Budget Right Handyman in the past and have never been disappointed with the services provided.

Great! My tech was Jim Dwyer, and he got both fans installed and working, even though they had a different mount than the old ones. He even offered to take away the old fans if I'd wanted. I'm happy, and now I have fans with lights, so I can see!

Sometimes to do small jobs take real skill. Louis Martinez from BRH was able to execute this perfectly by fixing half of pocket door that had come of its tracks and was stuck inside in an immobile position. He was able to execute this within an hour. Very professional also,

fantastic! Daniel as usual did not disappoint. He's prompt, efficient, friendly, and has an overall kind demeanor. Two of the fans were fairly straightforward to replace, but the third needed a part adapted, and Daniel was able to troubleshoot and come up with a viable solution. We could not be more pleased with his work and our results.

The first person they sent to me who did the majority of the work was great, but he failed to show up to his last appointment. After I reached out they sent me a new tech to finish the work very quickly and got everything finished in an hour or so. The work looks great, can't wait to paint up there and get the bedroom properly done.

When I called to book an estimate I was asked by the representative to send in pictures of the job in order to get an estimate, as that would be faster than sending out a contractor. After waiting for a response over the weekend I called and spoke to a representative and received an estimate of $400-$600 to completely replace and properly seal the damaged sections. It was my understanding they were going to apply an acrylic surround over cement board, so I booked the appointment for the first day available. Later that day they said they made a mistake and had to book for a later date, as the calendar was not updated when we booked the job. While that was a bit frustrating, I understand things happen and booked it for the next available time, a week and a half later. When the sub-contractor arrived he took the measurement and discussed the possible repair options. After agreeing that an acrylic surround would be the best and permanent solution, he stated he needed to go to Home Depot to get materials, and would need to order them if they weren’t in stock. (These are the same materials I originally agreed upon when booking the job.) After a few hours the sub called me directly and stated he had to order the materials as the company only works through Home Depot, and they could take a couple weeks to arrive. I explained that I couldn’t wait a couple weeks for the repairs, and asked if they had a more definitive time frame or could order from a different supplier. In response I was told a representative from the company would reach out to me later that day and let me know if they could get materials faster or through a different supplier. Since I did not receive the call back from the company, I reached out the following morning. I was told by the service representative that they have an account with Home Depot and he could not order from anyone else. However, if a manager authorized the purchase, they could possibly get the materials from another vendor/supplier, then offered to have the manager call later that afternoon. Again, I understand the chain of command structure and said I would be okay if the manager called that day, and again received no further contact from right way as a company. By 1:00 pm the following day I still had not received any contact from the manager or any other representative of the company. At that point I reached out one last time and spoke with a customer service representative. The rep stated that they only order through Home Depot, as they have an account with them, but they were willing to create a po for me to order, pay, and have shipped/pick up the required materials for the work. I stated that I was willing to pay them for the materials as part of the job but I was not comfortable ordering the materials. In response I was told the company operates on a time and materials process and I would need to either follow this course of action or wait for Home Depot to deliver the order. With such a response I stated I unwilling to pay them for work that I was doing, as the parts were supposed to have been ordered prior. Furthermore, if I got the wrong materials, the work would be further delayed, causing more headache for all involved. I was told again that this is how the company operates and that I would have to take the time to acquire the proper materials for the job and they would schedule and allowing me when I reached back out and informed the company the materials had arrived. At that point I stated a second and third time that I was canceling the job, Due to a negative overall experience, and my unwillingness to perform parts of their job and pay to perform such work. I definitely recommend against doing any work with Right Way.

My technician, Elvis, did an outstanding job with a high degree of professionalism and skill. He was great at talking through the scope of work, providing updates, and offering beneficial consultation. Elvis was very respectful in the way he approached conversations and in his attentiveness to ensuring the areas of my home where the work was being performed were protected and cleaned/organized during and upon job completion. I am truly amazed at all he accomplished on my very long 'list' and appreciative that he did the work with a level of detail and care as he would if it were his own home. That is really hard to find. I have been a customer of Budget Right for many years. I also greatly appreciate the responsiveness, flexibility and focus on customer satisfaction consistently provided by the staff. The lower rating on Price is due to the increases over time and varied work efficiency to complete the job across technicians. As a matter of practice, the office will match their best technician to the scope of work, but if you can't wait for that appointment date, you may get someone who isn't as experienced. The other way to save is to pre-purchase materials needed, to avoid the technician having to spend time at Home Depot or elsewhere. Budget Right is my go-to for jobs big and small for my home and rental property. I highly recommend them.

Joe Fink's professionalism and punctuality was great as usual.

Duane did a great job of putting up the lights/fans. He ran into a problem with the wrong kind of box in the ceiling and found a plan to fix it. He was personable and easy to work with. He will be coming back to put in the correct box and patch the ceilings.

Everything went great. Duane Negrillo was the electrician. He was very polite, cooperative, and punctual. He made sure he cleaned up the area as he worked and afterward. Putting in the Ring doorbells was very tricky. Even Ring said that the set-up was very tricky. They emailed me a diagram and Duane was able to wire the bypass and transformer for the doorbells quickly with no problem. He wanted to make sure that the doorbells worked but they had to be charged for a long time. So, he asked me to text him the next day to see if the doorbells and chimes were working and they were. He really is very conscientious and cares about his work.

Finally, it seems really misleading that on their site, they tout $75/hour, but 2 hours on Angie's List has a $187 or $188 "original price". So the "26% off" deal they offer gets you to just under the base $75/hour rate they offer everyone on their site ( (hyperlink removed) -- "simple straight forward pricing - $75/hour"). Their reply to my original review says they don't offer discount pricing, but you can see them on the Deals page here as of me posting this review,

Ray did a wonderful job. He was quick and very professional. He called before arriving to get the details and picture of project. Job was completed quickly and looks good.

The install went very well. Our service Technician was very helpful and polite as well. The install was very quickly and professionally. Awesome job A++

Manny was very professional and did an excellent job shortening the cabinet above my refrigerator so it would fit. He also quickly assembled an adjustable height work table for me. He was kind enough to tell me that it would be cheaper to pay their hourly rate and use the 2 hour special for another job. I would definitely hire again.
