He fixed it, and it's fantastic now!

It was fine. They did not charge me anything additional. They weren't great. There were a few things that I wanted them to do that they were not able to do. I'm not sure if it was the fault of the technician or that of my house. He cleaned up after himself before he left.

Couldn't be better. Prompt, efficient, professional, everything accomplished quickly. Will definitely use them again.

Great service, replaced some commercial locks, one of which was broken and stuck, and designed a cheap fix for an exterior leak with materials we had at our office. Very pleased.

It was alright. There was the $20 fee to have them come to my home. It was a $20 out of pocket fee that they charged for showing up to my location. However, when I looked the company up, they said that they worked in my area. That was a surprise. I thought that because the advert was local, and they said that they could do it locally, I didn't know that there was a $ 20 show up fee. That caught me off guard. I gave the technician a C because I wasn't impressed. He was ready to go when he showed up. They missed their commitment a couple of times but they called and changed the times a few times which was understandable. I think the technician that showed up wasn't having a really good day. I think I got my money's worth for the service that I asked. I expected it to be a little bit better but this guy wasn't in a very good mood. That could have been the difference. For that particular service, I wouldn't recommend it from that particular company. Other than the hidden cost that I wasn't aware of, it was the right price.

Got a quick call and was particularly impressed that they called on the day of service and advised they could come earlier if we wanted due to an unexpected cancellation.

It was terrible. They didn't fix the service. It was horrible. They were supposed to come in and put some drywall because it was above my shower area. The drywall came down. I called the company and they said the person no longer works for them anymore. I gave them my money so I should have gotten my service done correctly and it was not.

I needed her to come back because I needed to get the clamps for my drapes. When I ordered them, they didn't put the little clamps for the balance. I have to go back over there and see if I can get them to do that. The girl who tried to put them up put the holes in the wall. She said she was going to get some spackle and seal those holes in. She did the best she could do with what I had. I'm not dissatisfied. She was a little late.

Provider kept saying they are not sure if they can provide this service / how long it will take and cant provide details on receipts for materials cost or any extra hours needed to fix and are no longer interested. Asked for credit card details despite I already have paid $110 for 2 hour service. This was so unprofessional. Never using Angie's list if it provides such professional people to provide service.Now I am stuck with cost of $110 for my fixing job given to this provider and spend to find someone else.

Tim from BudgetRIght Handyman was extremely professional -- anticipated our needs and communicated with us prior to our service date to discuss the projects and save us time. Was extremely pleasant to work with and treated our home with care and respect. Was also very effective at solving problems and fixing our home with intelligence, craftsmanship and pride.

Cleaned up after herself. Overall very pleased and would use her again. Elaine O'Sullivan was the handywoman and was polite, professional and job was well done.

I needed to have several outlets changed to GFCI. The contractor performed all of the changes in a sufficient amount of time. He was very friendly and helpful. I would hire this specific guy again.

This provider is great! Thank you Angie's List for existing - it's so easy to get a bad provider without Angie's List. This company has many reviews (I think over 1,000), and they are excellent. Totally satisfied, and would hire again.

Elain O"Sullivan replaced switches and fixed wiring snafus from the original installation. She tightened up a cabinet that we'd built ourselves from a kit. She was knowledgeable and efficient.

.It is not easy to find one person who can do a variety of repairs in two hours. I have moved many times before and usually have had to hire multiple people to fix what the movers damaged. I decided to go back to Angie's List for referrals and was very happy with the result. Because I work, it was critical that the person be on time, as I didn't have a lot of flexibility in having just started a new job.

I paid for 2 hours to open 6 painted shut windows. The guy who came out didn't have the right tools, and spent less than 30 minutes working on the windows. He told me to buy new windows. I've since had another handyman come out who opened all windows within 40 minutes, and charged less. I've used Budget Right several times in the last few years. When Dirk was the owner/manager the service was much better. They used to ask questions about the job, so that they could send the handyman with the right experience for the job. Now, the new manager/owner? is more concerned about getting your credit card number, in case there are additional expenses for materials. No other materials/supplies are needed to open painted shut windows. He even cancelled our first appointment, because we were playing phone tag(I didn't want to leave my credit card number on an answering machine), even though the service had already been paid for through angieslist. He did agree to giving me a one hour credit, since the guy didn't open the windows. Sadly, after several years using their service, I have to say, I don't think I will be calling them again.

I bought an Angie's List deal for 2 hours of service. When he arrived, I gave him three tasks, which he completed in about an hour and 20 minutes. So then I asked him to put up a wall sconce (trying to get as much use out of the 2 hours as possible). He seemed annoyed and said that he had already put his tools away. He begrudgingly completed the job. The work was done well but he lacked professionalism.

It went well. However, the area wasn't sanded thoroughly and they got paint on the ceiling as well as along the trim. They only needed to paint the walls, and should have used tape or more caution.
