Edgar was on time and skilled. He went from task to task easily. Very polite and nice to have in the house.He covered outside shoes while in carpet. Cleaned after himself with no mess.left behind. It all went very well.

Nate got it done so much faster than I could have done it myself--with a LOT less hassle. Will definitely use them again in the future. I got the 2 hours for $110 deal. Was worth it for me.

The young man named with Nate and he was the Great! He did an outstanding job he was very professional and I would ask him to come back.

Warning: Do not hire this company! I paid on Angie's List through their system, and then was asked to pay on site even when I told them that I'd pre-paid. Meaning that I paid over double to cost for the work. Both myself and staff from Angie's List have contacted this company for a refund, and they have not responded nor refunded the money that does not rightly belong to them - in short, they are thieves. The work performed was well done and very quick - but all of the credit for this goes to the skilled handyman, and none to this awful company.

really bad. the person that came spend 3 hours to mount the TV on the wall, did it poorly and I came home in the evening and had to remove the tv to organize the cables. I'm very disappointed with the services. Looked like the person never has made any similar work, really amateur

It took several messages to get on the phone with them. They consider the job to be complex (which I agree with ) and they charge to come out and give an estimate. Wow - paying for estimates now? I would never use a contractor who charges to come out to give an estimate. I could provide a layman's amount of information over the phone so they can give a bid. However, - what kind of bid is that going to be? Not a very complete one I am certain. Disappointing.

It went well. He knew what the problem was and how to repair it. He knew what we would need. Knew how to cut the plywood to fit the flooring. We went to home depot together to purchase the extras that I needed as well.

It went very well. Reese, the carpenter, was very efficient and worked steadily for three hours with no "slow walking" or padding of his time. He had to work around rainy weather, and did other things around the house until the rain cleared enough to work outside on the back stair tread. He was very skilled and did an excellent job. I got almost all of my "honey do" list done in record time at a modest price. Well worth it to hire these guys to get the job done right. We have used this handyman service a couple of times in the past, with good results. We will be hiring them again, I am sure.

We did have some trouble with the contractor who installed our doors, in regard to taking extra time while charging by the hour, and doing unnecessary work. However, upon contacting the company, we learned that that contractor was no longer with the company, and they adjusted our price and some of the work done to our satisfaction. We also hired them to install a toilet, and this work was done very skilfully and efficiently. We will definitely consider hiring them again for larger jobs.

It went it wonderful. He was clean, efficient. He checked some plumbing connections for me and he determined that I do have some leaks. I look forward to hiring him again.

The serviceman was professional, courteous, and did an excellent job. He kept himself well-paced and suggested tips along the way.

4 visits in 3 days and the work is still not complete. Day 1, technician #1 arrives and states work can't be done since the building engineers have to shut-off water for the entire building. After calling Budget Right to re-schedule, they advise me there was confusion in the scope of the work. After sending them some pictures of the knob, they confirm that the knob can be replaced WITHOUT shutting off the water. On Day 2 (1 week after first visit), technician #2 replaced the knob. However, after taking a shower the knob broke and the water was stuck running. Thankfully, technician #2 was able to return and shut off the water. However, he was unable to do anything else due to other appointments and left the wrench in place until another appointment was scheduled. At that time, it was advised to schedule other work to be done since the actual fix of the shower knob would only take a few minutes. On Day 3 (one week after Day 2), technician #2 returned and attempted to use 3 different knobs. It was only then that technician #3 determined the scope was larger than expected and DOES require the water to be shutoff by the building engineers. With each visit I was told to purchase extra labor time for other projects since the shower knob would only take a few minutes. While the other projects have been reluctantly paid for and completed, 3 weekends have been lost. 3 weeks of using a wrench for a shower knob. This is unacceptable. The work was poorly scoped, executed, and serviced.

It came out well...glad I hooked up with angie's list, and hence got good service from Budget Right Handiman.

It went extremely well. We got two new beautiful large metal bathroom tub handles and we got a great motion light detector for the side garage door. This will help with any possible garage burglaries.

He was well mannered, went right to work and professionally installed both units in 2hrs. Now I don't have to worry about condensation draining in the window sills or easy access via the open windows!!

Everything went smooth from the start. My work was scheduled for a Sunday, and their guy arrived early and was able to start early. Nate was able to remove my old toilets and install two new ones within the 2 hour time frame my Angies List coupon covered. He did a nice job, cleaned up the area, and had me take a look at both toilets when he was finished to make sure I was happy. The cost for this work was less than half of what other local vendors wanted to charge me. I'm very satisfied and plan on having them back for more jobs.
