Handyman Steve was awesome. Great attitude, very versatile, dependable.

Paid $430. They destroyed each of the 4 doors we asked to put new hinges and locks on. They were rude on the phone and refused to send a guy other than the one who destroyed our doors in the first place. We'll need to pay another company to fix what they've done.

Angelo came early to do our door in the garage. He had it out and replaced in what seemed like no time at all. He repaired the cracked wall from the previous door. He was professional, courteous and really helpful. Would absolutely hire again.

It went very well. Daniel Kelly installed the cabinets efficiently and effectively. He worked the entire time he was here, without even taking time out for lunch. He figured out how to arrange and mount the cabinets in the way that was best for us, and always asked before making a decision about placement or other options to make sure he was doing what we wanted.

Justin arrived on time, organized, efficient, knew exactly how to approach the job. Finished in a few hours and trimmed out the opening and even stained the trim for us - works perfectly. Cleaned up the area. I'm planning to hire this contractor again.

Daniel wanted to make sure everything was done properly and was very professional. I could tell that he was knowledgeable about ceiling fans.

Wonderful! Mario was really efficient and friendly. I was worried that they had to go to the store to pick up supplies, but they were so quick and made everything easy. I'll be using them again for sure.

I scheduled them to start on 9/26. I met with the person and spent about 45 minutes reviewing what needed to be done. I initially spoke to a person over the phone and explain ed what I needed to be done as well. I purchased all supplies that were needed but was asked for a couple of other items once the walk through was completed. I had a detailed list of the work to be done and the employee wrote what was requested. I unfortunately had to leave on the 2nd day for work and left my wife to oversee the job. I returned 6 days later and found the work that was done to be not acceptable. I emailed the owner at midnight with a list of complaints and asked that he call me in the morning. He did so and indicated that he spoke to the employee who stated that this type of work needs to be done I steps and that the employee offered to come back after my painters primed the walls so that the imperfections could be addressed. I indicated that I wanted the owner to come out as slight imperfections were the least of my concerns and that the quality of work was awful. There were places that were not addressed, gaps , no caulking around any trim, uneven trim, miter cuts that were off, gunks of plaster that had been roughed on and not sanded uneven trim and exposed nails sticking out of the trim. The walls and ceiling were not paint ready. He said he could not come out and that the employee would come out to address my concerns at 230pm that day. He did not come out but called and began to explain that the work was a multiple step job and the imperfections could be addressed after my painters primed the wall. This is not what I wanted or expressed at any point. I needed the walls to be pain't ready so the painters would come and paint. He said he was 's not on my schedule and then acknowledged that he did a poor job on the trim and was just trying to get the job done. I apparently purchased the wrong faucet and instead of him taking the faucet back or asking my wife to get the correct type. He installed the faucet and installed the sprayer under the sink. When confronted he stated that my wife told him to go ahead and do this, which she vehemently denied and indicated that he stated that he had to install it this way. I indicated that I was quite dissatisfied with the quality and that it appeared that he hoped that I would just accept the inferior work and I believe took advantage of the fact that I was not around. He stated that he could come and put a piece on the sprayer and fix the nail holes but would not address the other work. I called and left a message with the owner, who never responded to my phone call. The employee called back and indicated that he would come on the following g day to address the exposed nails and the faucet. He showed up and I reviewed the inferior work. There were unacceptable answers including the painters would caulk after they finished priming , my windows /walls were not square , which resulted in his erroneous miter cuts and uneven trim ( despite the trim that was removed was done perfectly as the windows were less than 8 years old). He then stated that this type of job is better for contractors aND not for an hourly job. He then added , "technically I was not dome because I said I can come back to address any imperfections after the painters primed the wall." This sounded like a rehearsed out the company has used in the past. I later found out that he told my wife he could come back and prime the walls, despite not completing what he was hired and paid to do correctly. He then produced a paper and asked me to sign so he could "do me a favor" and do one hour of good will work. I told him I was insulted as he was not doing me a favor by addressing the poor quality of work. Upon reading the paper I saw that the paper was more than he had stated and the company was asking me to not publicly discuss the work that was done. After a second inquiry about the form, he finally acknowledged this was the purpose of the form. I told him I refused to sign the form. He called his bosses. We he returned he went immediately to the sink turned off the water and removed the sprayer. I inquired what did his boss say. He said that he was told that I needed to sign the form to complete any work as he was not covered by his insurance unless I signed. By this time the sprayer was removed and he explained what piece I needed to purchase. I indicated that I would not sign the form and he shook my hand wished me luck and abruptly left. I went to home Depot and inquired about the part. They indicated that this would not work and advised against any such modificatons and stated that what was done made no sense and the faucet should not have been installed. My Angies list painters came by to take a look and agreed that the work was inferior and was appalled at the quality of work that was done with the trim. He indicated that some areas were okay but that the wall's were about 60% done. So after 6 days and 2000 I have been left with incomplete and inferior work that will have to be redone; and the owner has yet to return my phone call. I have nails that are exposed above the wood trim on all windows and door trim, sanding and skimming that needs to be done, trim that need's to be removed and replaced , caulking and installation of the faucet. I have also asked the painter who observed the work to write a letter for me as well. The supervisor who intially scheduled the job and the employee both indicated the job would take no more than 4 days and 24-28 hours. 6 days and 2000 dollars down the toilet, I am beyond livid with this company. I have a small 5 room home of about 1000 Sq feet so we are not talking about a massive home.

Elaine is always such a pleasure to have in for work. This is the 2nd time I have bought services from Budget and I always ask for her.

Justin arrived early, got my pocket door that had been sticking shut out of the wall by popping off the trim, and he got it working more smoothly than it has in years. We didn't see any obvious problem that prevented it from opening sometimes, but the door's action is certainly better now whatever he did. He cleaned everything up after himself and put some paintable caulk over the nail holes and cracks so I can paint it like new. Very happy with the service he provided. Took about 1.25 hrs.

Steve Stevenson was our handyman. He has a great work ethic & attitude including creatively troubleshooting why an outdoor light wasn't working (wire snapped) & cut/replace the wire so we didn't have to order a new light. He was great! Thank you for sending him to our home. We will definitely request him in the future.

The person who was sent out I initially thought was OK. It has taken 4 days to paint one room. The room still has areas of missing paint. The wood work for which I purchased paint, wasn't touched. My whole house has a thick film from sanding, and not closing the bedroom door where the sanding is taking place. The closet doors in our bedroom are not flush, There is a space between the doors and the floor. Our clothes and shoes are completely covered in this dust, When I saw the condition of our items, I was so disgusted and frustrated I just wanted the work finished, so I put towels under all doors. I hadn't noticed the condition of the bathroom off of the bedroom as we used another bathroom. That bathroom is completely covered in dust, tile, towels, rugs, toiletries, inside the medicine cabinet etc. That door is flush, all that had to be done was to close the door. That indicates the bathroom door was left open while he sanded in the bedroom. Plastering was done around an electrical socket to build up the wall. The socket is now dangling out the wall. I questioned the removal of the cable cord to paint the baseboards. He told me removal isn't required. Really??? As it turned out he didn't do them anyway The trash, empty paint cans, and all the other empty used items were left, along with the inadequate plastic still on the furniture. This has affected my 75+ yr. old asthmatic husband and our asthmatic daughter. I would have been more diligent in my inspection before he left, unfortunately, I have had a stroke and I really didn't feel up to par. Because of that, I didn't do a thorough inspection. My husband, however did do an examination of the work when he got home, pointing out numerous flaws and incompletions. Now we have to hire somebody else to finish the job, Right now we're into the second day of cleaning up all the dust.

It all went very well. David showed up on time and was very professional. He knocked out the jobs in a timely fashion. Everything looks great and functions well. Will definitely give Budget Right a call for future projects.

It went very well. James came on Monday removed the washer/dryer combo patched /dry walled the spot. He was polite and on time calling to let me know he was on his way. I supplied the paint. He is to return on this Wednesday to complete the work. The company had a coupon I purchased

There was a mix up with my order. The vendor said they never received the information from Angie's List. I had to call them. They were very responsive. We had a couple of scheduling issues. Once we made it through those everything was very good. The company is very responsive and they honour there commitments. I would definitely use them again.

handyman was late, but to his credit, he did call to let me know that he was running behind. Arrived at my home about 30 minutes late. I quickly showed him what needed done. He agreed. He then spent another 20-30 minutes cleaning trash and debris from a previous job which was collected in his drop cloth. He took FOREVER to install new light switch about 6 inches from original, and basically did not have time to do anything else except for hanging iron candelabra.. which turns out is too high on wall. And, I still had to sand and paint wall where switch was moved. Additionally, drawer was never fixed despite several attempts. I will NEVER call this or any other handyman service again. They bill by the hour whether the job is complete or not. So basically I spent roughly $400.00 to move a light switch 6 inches. Lesson learned!

It went really well. Angelo was truly great. He was gentle, very careful with our belongings/home and highly responsive. He was definitely a great part of the overall experience.
