From start to finish, working with the company was a great experience. First, the project manager was prompt and efficient and getting me a quote and setting up for an appointment. I was able to book a technician two days after calling which I believed to be a very quick turnaround. I had five different light fixtures replaced by Edgar Reyes. Edgar was prompt and friendly. He made sure to describe everything he was doing and asked questions on my preferences and was obviously very knowledgeable. He was also very quick at completing the job. My condo looks a million times better with my new updated lighting and I can't thank Edgar and the company enough! I looked ant looked for reasonable estimates and was sometimes quoted $500 at other places. It was a daunting experience since I am a first time home owner but they put me at ease. I would definitely recommend them and will likely use their services again on future projects!

Work was performed well Leonard did a good job.

Edgar was able to efficiently solve both issues with a methodical, logical approach which he kept me aware of during the process and with minimal impact to the drywall. It was clear he had done this many times before.

The job went very well and took about 4-hours (which was an hour less than what we had thought might be needed). 'Cleon' was the handyman assigned to my job and he arrived at my home on time and ready to work. His demeanor was professional and friendly. He was courteous and very respectful of me and my home. The quality of his work was meticulous. He was knowledgeable, worked quickly and I felt very comfortable having him in my home. I have been using Budget Right Handyman Service for almost two years now and I am very pleased with their staff, the quality of their work, their reliability and their rates (which work very well within my modest budget).

I spoke to a scheduler from the company, describing the lights and the faucet that needed to be replaced in our vintage home. He estimated that the work would take 3 hours. The handyman who arrived did replace the faucet, but he was incapable of doing the electrical work. My husband had to help him remove the old fixtures, and the handyman damaged one of them in the process. He didn't know how to install the replacement fixtures, and left without completing the work.

Every single interaction with them was great. Super-professional, very straight-forward, and I appreciated their openness and honesty about what they could handle, what they could not, and how much it would cost. Joe Fink came out to estimate, and I couldn't have asked to work with a more knowlegable guy who knew just what was needed to get the job done. Unfortunately, we wound up not choosing them -- but it was only because we decided to go the route of a contractor who could handle 100% of the work we needed (who also charged less per hour). But I wouldn't hesitate to call them or to hire them in the future for any job!

I think they are very fair, honest, get the work done and they show up when they said they will. Did what they were suppose to, stayed in contact.

Mario skillfully repaired a casement window. He worked so efficiently that he had time to repair a loosened handrail. I'd highly recommend.

It went pretty well. James was onetime and got the sink and calking sorted out quickly then got a bunch of the wall painted.

We were very happy with them. We had someone come for a couple of hours about a few months ago. It was very good, it went really well. They didn't charge me over the $110. He was late, but he got stuck in the traffic and he called us. It wasn't his fault and he kept us informed. All around it was very good. We had a lot of little things that we just were not getting to. It was really nice to find someone willing to come down and do a bunch of small jobs and that was just very useful.

Dave F was only able to complete 1 job & that is installing an exterior door off the utility room. There were a lot of problems that arose with the install due to issues with the house but he handled it very professionally & did a great job! Since he did such a great job I requested that they send him back to me tomorrow to finish the list & they rearranged his schedule so he could return. I'm so glad they accommodated me.

Everything eventually went very well. Mr. Frederici had to install a new service door first, then install the security door. He did an excellent job and was able to resolve any little issues that came up during both installations.!

Luis came in and did a good job foe me, the floor was not easy to repair properly. The access panel took some brainstorming, since I plan to carpet the entire floor but still need access to the plumbing cleanout periodically. He also levelled the floor and also reinstalled a vanity which I wanted reconnected. My basement apartment is nearing completion, thanks to Luis and Budget Rite.

Do not hire this company! We set up 2 window air conditioner installations for our daughter's apartment in Oak Park. The appointment was for 3 pm, @ 3:35 I called to see where Leonard was at. At 3:41 I was called back and was told he would be another 20-25 minutes. At 5:18 pm Leonard called and hung up - I called back and was told he was on his way but was stuck in traffic and he wanted to know what he was doing and what tools he would need. 2 1/2 - 3 hours after our appointment he finally arrives (without any tools, not even scissors to open the boxes with). He proceeded to tighten a few screws with the scissors we provided, stuck the air conditioners in the windows, closed the windows down on top of them, stuffed in some insulation, folded out the side panels and called it good! When we questioned the installation, he said all window air conditioner applications were not air tight and the windows would hold the units in without any trouble of being a danger to anyone. We showed him the additional foam panels that were to be installed and then we had to explain how to use them. While attempting to make the "installation" more air tight, he almost dropped the larger unit two stories out the window. We contacted management the next day and we were told we needed to send pictures and he would evaluate the workmanship. We were only in town a couple of more days to help our daughter move and we were not at the apartment that day to send pictures. The following day was our last day to get the apartment in order before leaving so we made the necessary installation repairs ourselves. We didn't have time for someone else to come out and redo the work or evaluate pictures. We also secured the windows so they could not be opened. We didn't hire someone to open boxes which is basically all Leonard did. We were hoping to have a professional installation so would not have to worry about it and could use our short time in town getting our daughter moved, settled in and be able to work on her other projects.

Always on time, works very hard, stays on task and finishes on time. If ever more time is needed, handyman consults with me if I want him to continue. Respectful of my home and property overall. Budget Right is always willing to work with me and provide the best cost for projects. I HIGHLY recommend them and will continue to work with them on any and all my home projects. The tech milked 3 days of work and was not very dependable. Would NEVER hire again. This work should've taken 3 hours max but said his phone wasn't working. Too much dishonesty so I wouldn't recommend them.

Overall, they did a good job. I wish we had a little bit more time to hang the ceiling mount cover, but they were in a rush to make it to their next job.
