Budget Right Handyman

The estimate was unreasonably high. $7000 for painting 3 walls of my foyer and install 50 linear feet of crown molding.

All went well. Dave, the technician arrived promptly, was courteous and professional, went right to work after surveying the tasks. He worked quietly and efficiently, and patched the cracked drywall. He then cut away the water damaged drywall and determined that the water was running down an outside brick wall, and slowly being absorbed into the drywall behind the brick. He went and purchased lumber and caulk to close off the space between the brick wall and our deck as that was where the water was entering. He did very quick and neat work with the lumber, and caulked the top and bottom of the wood. Overall, he did a quality job, in an efficient manner, and was flexible in working around time constraints. A very good experience!

Budget Right is one of the few Handyman Services with reasonable prices if you can buy their prepaid coupons. Mario did an also job. I am planning to use them again.

I thought the price was fair. They send out whoever is available. You may not get the same people every time. Anyone they send has been very professional. I have used them for lots of things like painting, patching a drywall, just small things I couldn't do. They are like an all purpose company.

I want to say kudos to Mannie for always being the consummate professional and does an awesome job on whatever he is doing. He has brought to my attention potential problems and points out things to be on the lookout for. He is sincerely the go to guy to get things done right!!!!

Richard was GREAT! We couldn't be happier! Friendly, efficient, and professional! Finished tiling two floors for us, grouted one, installed transitions, installed a sump pump, and repaired our garage door. Awesome!

The electrician they sent moved them against code. My husband was patching the wall when he saw what he had done. He did not couple the wires together properly but rather just wrapped everything in electrical tape and then hide his work. The work was completed on Friday since we had a installation of appliances coming Monday morning so I called promptly to complain but was told a manager wouldn't be available to contact me until Monday morning which was too late, they said they only person who could fix it was the same guy who did the work which I refused because of his poor judgment in the work. Why would I let the same man in to do more bad work? I said another guy could come Saturday or I would have to hire another service which they said they understood. I received a call on Sunday from a very unprofessional manager that they would have someone come over but I had already hired another Electrician to redo the work they messed up and he was on his way to our house and could not be cancelled. The manager repeatedly interrupted me when I tried to explain that it was too late and he then yelled at me "LISTEN SWEETHEART..." I told tried to tell him how offensive he was and he cursed and hung up!! Worse still we are repeat customers and that is how they treat you after they KNOW and ADMIT they messed up! Now they are trying to get me to pay for 2 hours of work that was against code and needed to be redone. DO NOT HIRE THEM!!

That came in real handy, because my husband is handicapped so they were able to do that. I got a special that I bought back in January. It was a reduced rate because it was like a special. It like a coupon. I was completely satisfied. It was a good price. Quality was good. I was completely satisfied. It took probably under 2 hours, I paid for 2 hours; a little over an hour I guess. He was able to get the work completed. Communication and interaction was very good, they were real responsive so it was good. He cleaned up OK, I don't think he had anything to clean up.

I cannot say enough great things about the service I receive from Budget Right Handyman. As a FT working mom - with toddler twins - it is a necessity and indulgence to hire someone to help with the little things that slip through the cracks. When my "when I find the time" list got too long, I contacted Budget Right Handyman, and Cleon Sledge arrived within a few days. He was prompt, extremely courteous, and breezed through my list effortlessly. He even left me with enough time to finally read the Sunday paper, even though it was THURSDAY, before I had to pick up the kids. I have used BRHM on occasion, and I have NEVER been disappointed with the quality of workmanship their staff provides. They will always be a top choice when I need a hand around the house.

The tech was prompt courteous and neat. He completed the work as described in the estimated time and even gave me some options for saving costs.

This was a cool post. I thought I was the last American human standing who has zero interest in dogs (but still prefers them over cats). Well maybe now I AM since you've crossed over, and it's not likely I ever will. Many people who can't see life outside of pet ownership seem to forget that not only is this a pretty America-based phenomenon but it's also a characteristic of the last few generations in America. The job was split between two days. The deck was repaired and then painted. I supplied the paint and wood. The job went very well. We had a very good handy man.

Couldn't be happier! Leonard B showed up a few minutes early and got right to work. He was professional, pleasant and worked cleanly -- he didn't even get bothered when I interrupted him with a question. He made sure I inspected the work before he left. I also enjoyed the ease of making the appointment -- an on line form followed very quickly by a call from the office to confirm everything and carefully review cost and estimated timeframes. The email confirmation reminders were also a nice touch. The company charges by the hour, not the project, with a 2 hour minimum. The hourly rate was very very reasonable.

The gentleman had no idea how to do it. My husband did at least 50% of the work and could have done it all. All the company did was supply tools and an extra set of hands.

The day the service was suppose to be done, weather report says chance of rain,and it did rain that day, I called to cancel because it was going to rain and they refuse to cancel and advised me that it would be a $130 charge, even after I explain it was going to rain, the guy checked his weather report and said it was only 40% chance, I stressed to him I rather reschedule he said no and charged my card $130. even after it did rain that day. plus I purchased a 2hr handyman special for $110 thru Angie's list.

Purchased the 2 hour Angie's List coupon for $110. Andy was very nice and arrived at my home a little after 8am. It was a lot of work for one person and it was a long day. He worked until noon then he went to Home Depot (about 1 mile away) and pulled back in the lot at 12:50. He came up to my unit at 1:15 and returned to work. I am assuming he had lunch and hoped that I would not be charged for this time. Some of the fixtures took him awhile to get just right. He was unable to repair the shower door. The job billed for 9.5 hours, including the hour and fifteen minutes he was gone.

No show. We set up a move for 8am on a Sat and only 1 guy showed. They offered a discount to reschedule but couldn't do it for 3 days and we had totally disrupted the house to make toon for them to move be the furniture.

Handyman destroyed my plumbing . Would not submit claim to insurance carrier. Threatened to foreclose,on my house,if I didn't pay for,unprofessional pathetic work , Refused to follow up on any attempted contacts by,me. Problems too many to detail in this small space. Have used handymen for over 40 years Worst bunch of amateurs and Lying Incompetent management I have ever dealt with!!!!

I called the company and told them I only want this guy. It was really wonderful because I don't get people who ask what else they can do because they have extra time, it's usually, "bye, have a nice a day." I'd recommend this company, they're reasonable, never say no, and can fix whatever you need them to fix. I just found someone extraordinary from the company.

Terrific! This was a difficult job, had to cut through countertop and wood. Mario did an awesome job, we are so happy with it. It looks fantastic and works perfectly!

Mario, the technician assigned to me, did a great job. He was professional and arrived on time. He has previously completed other work at my house as well. I had to leave for an appointment before he was finished, but he continued to work outside and closed up the garage when he was finished. He was polite and professional, and most importantly, his workmanship was great.

Cleon was very professional. He was able to replace my Kitchen faucet with no problem and add the stopper to the bathroom sink very easily. He was nice and professional. I would hire them again.

It went great. Leonard the handyman did an excellent job.

the first guy that came out did such a horrible job that I had to call the company and tell him what was going on and how bad the workmanship was done he asked me if I wanted him back I said no absolutely not he's an amateur so the person I was talking to said that he would send out a guy named art the next day which he did hard had to retake the door off replace all the trim inside and out realign everything put the door back on had to rebuild the casing around the door before putting the door on Art did a good job but it's still not one hundred percent right but it was good enough to Let It Go I would never ever call this company again like I said art was a real professional and he did the best he could with what he had here but really needed to be done should have been a new door bought and put on the first guy destroyed the woodwork around the door the casing scratches on the door but like I said after art did his best which he said he would do and he did I just said okay that's good enough but in my heart I would never call this company if you want to do business with them you better make sure you ask is the person a professional that you're sending out or an amateur I learned the hard way
