Mario worked quick, clean and efficiently and we are so happy with the work. Will use again.

Stan was awesome. He called before he arrived, arrived on time, and was quick, professional and friendly. He came back the second day exactly when he said he would and finished up the job. Would definitely hire again.

As always with this company everything went great. Art was my guy and he was terrific. He accomplished everything I needed efficiently and neatly and was a pleasure to have in my home.

It went very well. Edgar was prompt, courteous, helpful and solved the problem to our satisfaction. He was respectful and able to solve the problem that was more complicated than we initially expected.

I contacted Budget Right using chat on their website, and got an immediate response. We set up a phone appt. and I was assigned Brad to be my project lead. He set up an appt. with Joe, who came out to give me a bid. Both were very responsive, professional and easy to work with. Joe came up with several ideas about how to accomplish this unusual little job, and they sent me an estimate in two days. I accepted the estimate, which called for a two day, 16 hour job, and agreed to pay for materials. My handyman was Luis, another very nice guy who arrived right on time, and then spent some time with me discussing alternatives to some of the design ideas, specifically not building a bi-fold door in the front, but using a small access door to the essential controls instead. I was fine with that suggestion, and basically just left it up to Luis how he wanted to complete the job. I took off for the day, and checked back in with Luis later in the day to see whether he would still be there when I got home, and to see what time he planned to return the following day. I was surprised that he said he would be done in a single day, so I hurried home to see the results and pay the balance. Luis was still working, and had done a nice job. It was definitely different than what Joe and I had discussed, but I was fine with the result. At any rate, I signed the receipt for materials he had to purchase, and thanked Luis for finishing the job in half the expected time. I contacted Brad about a credit, since the labor estimate of 16 hours was significantly reduced to only 9 hours. My feeling was that either the change in the job resulted in greatly reduced labor requirements, or that maybe the number of hours needed was exaggerated to begin with--or most likely a combination of both. I'm fine with paying $65 an hour for their service, but I thought that $100+ was excessive. Sam, the Job Coordinator, sent me an email denying my request, offering about approximately a one hour credit. If it was only $70 difference, I wouldn't squabble. But I'm paying for $455 in labor that wasn't utilized....almost 50% of the entire cost of the project. I was reluctant to write this review, because I liked all three of the guys that I worked with, but I decided that other people might benefit from my experience. I probably should have asked Luis how long he thought the revised project would take, called Budget Right to have them send me a new contract reflecting that reduction in labor costs, and all would be well. But I didn't. And now I feel like Budget Right took advantage of me not doing that to unfairly gouge me for labor not supplied.

Great, Andy was able to complete all of the work, despite the new light fixture missing a part. He was able to find other screws in his toolbox that worked. He was on time and polite.

Mario was awesome. He worked efficiently and gave us experienced advice. We didn't feel like he was nickle-and- dime-ing us. We love that there's a 1 year labor warranty.

They were late. Difficult to communicate or be understood as to what work I wanted done. Also price quoted in my opinion was false.

One thing was done incorrectly; however, they came back and fixed it hassle-free at no cost. Overall, pleased.

Job was a little more complicated than standard installation because some concrete had to be removed and a new base repoured. Also, when Mario went to pick up the door he noticed that the one Home Depot held for me was scratched he let me know, emailed pics and had the service desk replace it. The installed door looked great and we're very pleased with Mario's work.

The guy who came over wasn’t able to match the trim with what was in the store and didn’t actually do any work on the house. Was only at my home for 5 minutes before giving up. Then they made an unauthorized charge my my debit card for an additional $130. No services rendered but $149 in total expenses! Not a reputable company to deal with.

These guys were very responsive when setting up an appointment and eager to get my fix taken care of. The serviceman who made the visit was very professional and had a great sense of humor. This was the first time working with BRH (and Angie's List) but it certainly won't be the last. Thank you for the great first-time experience.

Luis and his colleague did a wonderful job on the work. The electrical work too much longer than expected because they ran into problems given how old our home is. Luis was incredibly gracious and went to the hardware store three times to buy parts that he needed. He stayed until the work was done, and I was very grateful.

Jeremy was assigned to my job and he was terrific. He called me to see if he could come earlier than my scheduled appointment. He arrived on time, and completed the work in 1/2 the amount of time that was estimated. I am very pleased with the quality of the work, his professionalism and subject matter expertise. I would definitely hire Budget Right Handyman again.

They were quick to respond, however, they wanted a credit card on file and to charge me $19 to come out and give me an estimate. I've never had to pay for a quote before, so I declined their service.
