Bubbles Window Washing & Gutter Cleaning

While I was pleased with the response from the company, the process to set up the appointment as well as the on time performance of the appointment itself, I am more than disapointed with the value I received for the price I paid (I paid $165). The man who did the job (equipped with a ladder and a bucket) spent at most 30-40 minutes at our house for something that hadn't been done in more than 2 years. That translates into an hourly rate >$300 per hour which I find outrageous. I will find other means to get this job done in the future.

The project that I had Bubbles estimate was to clean (very clogged) and putting on covers on my very high back gutters. They should up on time and explained all the options without pressuring to select anything in particular option. We scheduled the appointment. They were there the next day on-time, no mess from the cleanup and they installed the new covers with no issues. I'm very happy with the results!!!!!

The house has gutters with screens covering them, that have never been cleaned. Bubbles removed the screens, cleaned out some nasty clogged gutters and a couple of completely clogged downspouts and replaced the gutter screens. They were quick and professional and did an excellent job and the waved the extra cost of unclogging the downspouts as well as removing and replacing the gutter screens. I will continue to use this company for all my gutter needs in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone I know.

Received a timely general quotation from Bubbles. Although we had heard positive things about the company from friends regarding relatively smaller jobs we felt (and they confirmed) that Bubbles pricing was ala carte. Furthermore our friends said they "....felt nickel-dimed to death" when the bill was presented. Although Bubbles did reasonably good work our friends experienced some unpleasant sticker shock when presented with the invoice at the completion of the job. I learned after we selected another Angie's List firm to do the work that Bubbles would come onsite beforehand to provide a firm price. Be sure to ask for this service.

After a recent heavy rain, I experienced a problem with water from the roof overshooting a clogged gutter, flowing down the side of the house and leaking in around 2 windows. When I telephoned Bubbles, I was please to speak with a person instead of an answering machine. Even though my call came in near closing time, Veronica took my information and quickly gave me an estimate. While the regular price would have been $130 for a one story house with screens over the gutters, when I mentioned I had found the company on Angie's list and had a coupon, she immediately reduced the cost to $120. While the company was unable to schedule me for the very next day, they did come the on the following one. Fortunately they were able to complete the job without me being home and simply left a bill in the door for me to mail in at my convenience. I definitely will hire them in the future to do additional work.

From the first call to the appointment - this company had wonderful customer service! They were courteous, prompt, quick and clean. They did a wonderful job cleaning out the gutters. As a new home owner, I'm not sure when they were last cleaned out but they were able to get it all clean and working again. They even cleaned up everything before they left. They even gave me a great price on having my gutters replaced.

Natalie was in touch with us the day after I sent the email, which was a Saturday. We scheduled an appointment for the following Tuesday.Alfredo, our Bubble's technician, contacted my wife and arrived right on time. He did a fantastic job on the windows and screens, as well as very being very personable.We would highly recommend them...and especially Alfredo...to anyone that is contemplating having their windows washed.

Without going into detail I'll summarize to say that this is a very professional company and the workmen are on the ball. Great service and I found them through Angie's List!

This was not the first time I used them. They showed up promptly and did good work. The man who did the work was very nice.

They called me the previous week with a quote. I then called the following Monday and they honored the quote and came out the very same day. Nice people working for them. I will be using them again in the future.

The bubbles crew arrived on time (Simon was the foreman), discussed the scope of the project with me, and provided me with a detailed, written quote. After reviewing everything, the crew promptly began working, and did a great job. Our house is a new construction single family home in the city, and this was the first time we'd had our windows washed -- what a difference! I would highly recommend Bubbles to anyone who needs their windows cleaned.In case you are wondering, we called four companies (all rated "A" on Angie's list). These companies all quoted about $50 of each other ($350 to $425 total) -- Bubbles was in the middle -- so pricing wasn't determinative for us. Rather, we chose Bubbles because they were by far the most organized and courteous on the phone. Colleen scheduled everything, emailed a general quote, and answered my questions (and asked several of her own that helped me understand the scope of the project!). I had to reschedule my original appointment due to work commitments, and Colleen did a great job of helping us find an alternative date. I also appreciated the fact that Bubbles sent me an email reminder of the appointment. Unlike the other companies I called, Bubbles made the whole process easy. We will be using them again!!

All the work they did was done very well. We will call them again when needed.

Courteous, respectful, good listeners.We walked around the house and he had me point out any trouble spots I knew about.When finished, invited me to inspect the work prior to presenting me with bill.House turned out great! I'd call them back in a heartbeat.

Contacted Bubbles for an estimate they were very professional and gave me an estimate for interior and exterior based on the number of windows we had within a range ours was 25-34 windows. They mentioned screens could be done as well and the cost was very reasonable and something I had not thought of having done but I am glad we did. Set up an appointment for about 10 days later and the worker was prompt, professional, and our windows never looked so good. He removed each screen washed them separately in our back yard and reinstalled them as well. I would definitely recommend using Bubbles for window and screen cleaning

Things started off a little strangely when the supervisor asked whether or not we would be staining the deck today....it was pretty clear from the work order in his hands what needed to be done. Access to one side of the house was difficult and therefore not done, which I thought with their experience that they would have found a work around, but no. The power wash of the house and deck was okay, but in my opinion not worth the money. However, the window cleaning went very well and represents good value.

First time the job was done, the aluminum siding looked like it had some giant graffiti painted over it; wherever the nozzle of the power washer passed there was a dark mark. It was very much noticeable from the street and far worse of the way it looked before being washed! First attempt to have Bubbles to fix the issue didn't go well. Bubble's guys said that "dirt was concealed under the oxidation of the siding and it was my problem to solve it". We called few more times, we spoke to the operator that confirmed that they had no intention to repair the disaster they made. So we wrote an ugly review on Angie's List adding the pictures of the house siding and...surprise, next day the manager called us back saying they wanted help resolving the issue. A new crew came, redid a proper power washing, and the marks have mostly gone. Also, Bubble refund me the entire cost of the washing, which was appreciated. The only concern I have left is about some paint chipping from the siding caused by the high pressure needed to wash away the oxidation so to remove the marks. I would have given a better score if they were more professional by don't messing up in the first time, but even more important by reacting to fixing the mess before we had to resolve to Angie's List.

I found Bubbles on Angie's List and called them based on ratings after reviewing 5 different companies. I first used them for gutter cleaning on July 2, and then called them back for power washing service on July 18. Both times, their workers rang the bell, introduced themselves and then went over the services they would provide. The gutters were clean because of our leaf guards, but our problem was the downspouts. The gutter guards were removed and gutters checked and then the downspouts were cleaned out. We had a lot of pine needles that became packed in the down spouts. The down spouts were cleaned out and then the gutters and down spouts were tested with the hose to make sure the water flowed through. On the 18th, we had the house power washed. The siding came out great and looks so clean. Bubbles even removed three small hornets nests that we didn't even know we had by the eaves. Each time, upon completion, their workers rang the bell again to let me know they were done and walked the house to review what was done. Very courteous workers. I was very pleased with their services.

guttersAs regards price, I gave them a "B" only because I don't really know if their price is appropriately comparable to other local gutter cleaning services. It certainly didn't seem excessive, but I suspect that my house presented a rather simple, straightforward situation. I chose this service because of their Angie's List record--let that be part of your decision. As regards punctuality, I gave them a "B" only because they made it a point to say that their service people would call when they were on their way--they didn't; they just just showed up (albeit within the designated service window). I utilized the $10.00 off coupon offered on Angie's List--good for the company. At the end of their visit, they acknowledged that there wasn't much going on in our gutters (as far as blockages, etc.). Instead, they pointed out that we didn't have enough downspouts, of the right diameter, in the right places. They suggested that we should have a downspout every 16 feet along the width, and replace the downspouts with downspouts of a larger diameter. Also, they suggested that we would have to "re-pitch" the horizontal gutters. Their estimate--$1,500. Seems a bit high, but we'll investigate next year. We suspect they're correct in their assessment, but we just aren't ready to spend the money.

You do get a window of time that the cleaning people will arrive. And the fact that I could schedule a Saturday was a big help with my schedule. I received a call when they were on their way. Two young men arrived and we went over each window that needed to be cleaned as some had triple track windows and some didn't. One started right to work pulling the triple tracks, cleaning them and in the meantime the other man was cleaning and vacuuming the sill of the windows. Once they were all done with the windows, one of the men climbed the ladder to the garage roof, put all the debris from the gutters into a bucket and then hosed down all the gutters. They got the windows spotlesslly clean - much better than I have ever done. It took about three hours and I was very satisfied with their work. I will not hesitate to hire them again in the future.

The local Bubbles office I contacted was professional, courteous and organized. The 3 man crew arrived on time and did a quick, thorough job. There some were some minor issues that they corrected when I brought them to their attention.

We were extremely disappointed with their service and frankly offended by their behavior and lack of professionalism. The cleaning crew included two men, one of whom was utterly rude and unprofessional. He tried to up charge us for items that were supposed to be included as part of the service. For example, he wanted to charge us an additional fee to clean the window sills, which their brochure specifically mentioned is included as part of their "in/out" window cleaning package. The other man was relatively nice, but did not do a good job and scratched up a number of our windows. When we brought the scratches to their attention and asked them to be more careful, the man whom I mentioned was rude became defensive, belligerent and denied that they caused the scratches without even looking at them, then walked out from the job in the middle, before they were finished. We called the company and left messages to complain, but they have not returned our calls. Clearly they knew that they had damaged our windows and did not want to remedy the damages. I would absolutely not recommend them or use them again. Even if this was an isolated incident of one or two bad workers, Bubbles' failure to address our complaint or to even return our calls shows that they do not care about their customers and that they will not stand behind their work as advertised and promised.
