Contacted Bosco Plastering for repair of wall cracks in 3 rooms and kitchen. After coming out and giving an estimate, we set up a date for work to start. As the date approached we did not hear from them. After moving furniture and removing items on the wall that may have been in their way, we contacted them again the day before and were told they could not do the work the day that was agreed to. We set up another day and have never heard from them again. We are looking for someone else to do the work. We did not try to contact them again for it is evident they have enough business and DID NOT NEED OURS.

Bosco plastering performed what would I consider a perfect job - The plastering trade is a true profession that requires attention to details and fine touch. The crew of two were prompt and fast workers. Given the amount of work and tight deadlines Bosco completed the work on-time. Highly recommended to everyone.

It was a very difficult job for them, they were working in a tight space, and they were having to deal with my severe allergy. I have a disability so I had to test every single product ahead of time to make sure I could handle it; they were patient with that at first and then not patient. We had some tense moments but I would hire them again because they did a very good job. I talked to three plasterers and this company was the only one that really knew what they were doing. Their price was comparable with the others’. They were very punctual and they were always there ahead of time.

It was a great, fast, and easy experience. I sent Charlie an email with pics on a Friday afternoon, he called the same day, quoted me a much better price than a competitor ($350), and said he could come out in about a week (which was perfect for me). Charlie sent me a confirmation email the day before to confirm and even showed up early to do the job (about 10 minutes before 8 a.m). He brought one of his associates (to help carry up the tools) and they began working right away. They finished up the first portion in an hour and promised to come back the next day at 9am. I tried to give him half of the fee at that point but he refused! Again Charlie showed up early and finished the job in about an hour and even left the bathroom clean. He even took the time to explain the a few things that were going on with our ceiling in another part of the house. I was very pleased!

Charlie was quick to respond to my request submitted via Angie's List. On the phone he was very courteous and honest. He indicated he was probably going to be working on a large project several weeks in duration so he might not be able to get to our project right away. I really appreciated his honesty and for being upfront. I can't tell you how many contractors in his position would not mention that and attempt to squeeze in the project or make excuses to stall. Since I needed the work done ASAP, I couldn't use Charlie's services. However, if I have a future need, I will definately look him up again.

Overall, it was a great experience. I called Charlie the Monday evening before Thanksgiving. He called me back the next morning and was able to stop by to see the ceiling and provide an estimate as he was leaving one of his other jobs. Charlie was able to fit me in the subsequent Monday and accurately predicted it would be a 3 day job. He and his assistant were prompt, clean, and thorough as they applied the 3 coats of plaster to the ceiling. The finished work looks great. Corners are straight, and the finished product primed and painted beautifully. If I require any additional plaster/drywall work, I will definitely use Bosco Plastering; no questions asked.

Charlie gave us a timetable and stuck to it, and sometimes would finish work a little sooner than he had anticipated. This was mostly due to the nature of plaster jobs, insofar as some dry slower or faster due to conditions. He worked well with our painter and other tradesman who were working nearby and made every effort to contain dust and debris to a minimum. I would hire Charlie anytime and continue to call him frequently for additional work elsewhere.

Our first experience with a contractor where all went as expected. He showed up on time to make the estimate, for the first day and for two return trips. After the plaster from the first day had dried, he returned as scheduled to apply another compound to reduce the risk of cracking. A few days later, he returned to sand all newly plastered areas. He did extremely well at containing any mess to the immediate area, and cleaning up thoroughly. Not having to clean up after the contractor was also a first for us. He explained the process thoroughly and completed the job exactly as promised. It was a pleasure to work with a real professional.

Charlie Bocskovits came over in a timely manner to give me an estimate on the job. Their price was very competitive. They did a great job. I would hire them again.

Job went great. New ceiling looks perfect. Charlie and his laborer did great clean-up job when finished.

They were prompt and professional in everything from returning my phone call, estimating, and performing the work. The quality of the work was excellent, they cleaned up after themselves and took special care to minimize any mess. This was my first experience using Angie's List to find a contractor, and it validated my decision to join.

Plaster was coming down from living room ceiling in one place and was coming away from the lathe in both rooms. Charlie removed the part of the ceiling that was falling and then put up wire mesh by nailing into the joists. Over that, he put a brown coat of plaster and over that, the finish coat. The ceilings look beautiful now. These ceilings are cove, i.e. do not meet the walls at right angles, so this work was not easy and required expertise. The project was messy but he cleaned up everything and left the house looking as clean as before he started. He performed the work exactly as he said he would and as it was shown on his web site. The cost was as quoted and completed when he promised. I was very pleased with the result.

Charlie did an excellent job in my opinion, the walls all look like new. He and his partner showed up on time or early each day, completed the work per the original estimates, and did a good job sealing off the rooms they were working in and cleaning up each day. I would use Bosco plastering again.

Charlie did a wonderful job, I am extremely happy with his work. I triple bid the project, and he came in with the lowest bid (which was 1/2 of the highest bid). He did fantastic work, was very professional and responsive, and is a pleasure to work with. I will definitely be using him in the future, and have already recommended him to friends.

Terrific. Bosco was very easy to work with from start to finish. He was quick to schedule a visit for an estimate, quick to provide the estimate, great communication. I felt very comfortable with the crew on the job. Everything was covered with a tarp well and all entryways were covered in plastic to reduce the dust load to other areas. In the end I felt that I was delivered an exceptional job at a very fair price. I would recommend their services to anyone.

Wonderful. Charlie was such a delight to work with. Professional from the beginning, he explained daily what he was doing, where there were problems, and the best solution to them. He showed up on time, even worked on Sat to finish the job (delays due to humidity, not his fault). His price came in almost exactly what I had expected. It was a huge job, and they did it wonderfully. The walls are beautiful now. Charlie is a real craftsman and takes pride in his work. It is worth maintaining beautiful plaster walls if you have them and Charlie is your man. Definitely check out his website!
