snow removal
 + -1 moreIF IT WASN''T SO DIFFICULT TO FIND RELIABLE SNOW REMOVAL AT A REASONABLE PRICE, WE WOULDN''T USE THEM. THE FIRST SNOW OF THE YEAR WAS AT FIRST VERY LIGHT AND SOME NEIGHBOR BOYS CLEARED IT FOR US (WE PAID THEM $15), THEN IT SNOWED MORE AND OUR NEIGHBOR USED THE SNOW BLOWER ON IT. BY THE MORNING, IT HAD SNOWED MORE AND WE HAD TO SHOVEL IT. THIS WAS THE NOVEMBER SNOW. BECAUSE THEY HAD IT ON THEIR WORK ORDER LIST, WE HAD TO PAY FOR IT, EVEN THOUGH THEY NEVER DID ANYTHING. THE SECOND SNOW THEY DID A POOR JOB, WHICH WE AT FIRST EXCUSED BECAUSE IT WAS CHRISTMAS EVE AND THOUGHT THE MEN WERE IN A HURRY TO GET HOME.
Description of Work: HIRED THEM FOR REMOVAL OF SNOW FROM DRIVEWAY AND SIDEWALK AFTER 2 INCHES OF SNOW. THEY CHARGED US FOR REMOVING SNOW WHEN IT WAS ALREADY DONE BY NEIGHBORS, AS WELL AS THE TIME THAT THEY DID REMOVE IT. THEN THEY CHARGED $60 FOR EACH TIME ALTHOUGH OUR CONTRACT SAID $55 FOR EACH SNOW REMOVAL. THEY DID SAY WE WOULD GET CHARGED $10 LESS NEXT TIME. THE REMOVAL JOB THEY DID WAS MINIMAL. THEY REMOVED ABOUT 10 FEET WIDE STRAIGHT UP DRIVEWAY, AND CLEARED BACK SIDEWALK ONLY. THEY LEFT TWO FEET ON ONE SIDE OF DRIVEWAY AND AT LEAST A FOOT ON OTHER SIDE OF DRIVEWAY, AS WELL AS A HUGE SECTION OF THE APRON OF THE GARAGE. NO PATH WAS CLEARED TO GARAGE SERVICE DOOR SO WE HAD TO CLEAR THAT OURSELVES.
