Bob's repaired my refrigerator on 7/31/2013., replacing a thermostat and re-starting the compressor. Over the next 2-plus months I fiddled with the settings but could not get the desired temperatures in both the freezer and refrigerator sections at the same time. Called Bob"s this morning at 9 A M and they were here by 11:30 A M. Said the problem was a vent that was stuck oped between the two compartments. They fixed the vent and didn't charge me anything!

They were very reasonable in their prices and they were accommodating for when they came around our tenant schedule. We would use them again.

This is a family business, and so they don't have a team of proffesional schedulers and technicians to help. But if you have the patience to adapt to thier schedule, you will get the most honest and sincere service for your needs. You can absolutely trust Bob's to do the right work for the right price. Bob love's his work, and has been doing it for ages. He consulted with several colleques to make sure the work was what was needed, and stayed untill the job was done.

I have used this company in the past for both refigeration work and furnace work. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN... Called on Tuesday to set up an appointment on Friday to have my furnace serviced. They said person would be here between 9 and 11. Took time off of work to be home for the appointment. After not hearing anything, I called the company at 11:10 just to check to make sure I was still scheduled (people run a little late, I understand that). I was told he was on an emergeny call and wouldn't get to me until "after 4pm", which they admitted could be after 6. I said I had somewhere I had to be at 5 and could they tell me if he would be finished by then. They said no, he may not even be here by then. I said this was really bad customer service, especially since I HAD TO CALL THEM to be told that he was going to be AT LEAST 5 hours late. The person I spoke to said he would get his supervisor. She came on the line and said he wouldn't be at my home until "after 4". I said I had an obligation at 5 that I could not cancel and that I specifically took the time off of work today and scheduled in advance and that it was really bad that I had to call them to find out that he would be late. She said she didn't know he was going to be late, so they couldn't call me (hello - make your workers tell you if they have other appointments so you can call and tell your customers!!). She never once appologized for the inconvenience but said I could reschedule. I said I took time off work today and I couldn't reschedule. She then said very rudely, "you know what? we are just going to cancel your appointment" and she hung up on me. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE - WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER...

I HAD SOMEONE COME OUT AND LOOK AT MY GE MONOGRAM REFRIGERATOR-FREEZER FOR $35. HE GAVE A QUOTE FOR $475, EXPLAINING THAT THE PROBLEM WAS A FILTER THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. WHEN I CALLED HIM FOR A WRITTEN QUOTE, HE SAID IT WAS THE FAN AS WELL. I THEN REASONABLY ASKED THAT HE PUT HIS ESTIMATE IN WRITING, INDICATING EXACTLY WHAT SORT OF WORK THEY WOULD PERFORM AND WHAT PARTS THEY WOULD SERVICE. THEY REFUSED TO PUT THE QUOTE IN WRITING, AS THEY SAID IT WAS AGAINST THEIR POLICY TO GIVE WRITTEN QUOTES. UNBELIEVABLE. I CALLED ANOTHER COMPANY INSTEAD. THEY CAME OUT AND TOOK APART THE REFRIGERATOR ON THE SPOT. TWO HOURS LATER HE HAD FIXED THE PROBLEM, REASSEMBLED THE REFRIGERATOR AND CHARGED US ONLY $145! THE SERVICEMAN FOR THIS COMPANY SEEMED TO BE A REALLY HONEST, HARDWORKING GUY. BOTTOM LINE; BOB'S SEEMS TO BE DODGY AT BEST. I'M SURPRISED THEY HAVE GOOD RECOMMENDATIONS FROM OTHERS.

SERVICEMEN HAVE BEEN POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL, EXPLAINING EVERYTHING ON THE BILL VERY WILLINGLY AND TO MY SATISFACTION.

MY EXPERIENCE EVERY TIME I CALLED IS THAT SOMEONE CAME THE SAME DAY WHEN THE FURNACE NEEDED REPAIR. THE MOST DRAMATIC EVENT WAS ON CHRISTMAS DAY! I CALLED AT 6 IN THE MORNING, SOMEONE WAS AT MY HOUSE BY NOON, AND I WAS NOT CHARGED EXTRA. "BOB" HAS ALSO TAUGHT ME TO DO A FEW MINIMAL MAINTENANCE THINGS MYSELF, INCLUDING LIGHTING THE PILOT ON THE FURNACE, SO I WOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR A SERVICE CALL WHEN THE SITUATION COULD BE REMEDIED WITH JUST A LITTLE "HOW-TO" INFORMATION.
